Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

So I got the bourbon chicken mexican rice and mash gravy rolls stuffing and chips with a salad and cucumber.My plate was absolutely fantastic. The bourbon chicken was good..The Mexican rice was great it had wonderful flavor like seasoned salt and corn.. fantastic Mexican rice with corn. The salad was great.This meal was really good..Enough to make me come back.The fried chicken wasn't great but I did not care..Also the key lime pie was nice..Really good I will be wanting this all week.

LAZY ICE CREAM MACHINE GIRL!!!The server was inattentive, to the point she sat down at a table with other customers and neglected to bring our drinks and utensils on time. On this same visit, I asked for cotton candy for my daughter, and the chubby female employee said "the machine was broken". I then tried to get ice cream and that same employee said "she had cleaned the ice cream machine and would have to pour the stuff all over again back into the machine". I asked what time they closed and she said in one hour. As I waited for her to come back to her senses and realize that she had enough time to start the machine, instead she walks away to the kitchen and then out comes this big guy looking at me and hollering "bah"! I didn't say anything because obviously these two don't have any sense of what work ethic is and I wasn't going to waste a minute more there.Worst Golden Corral ever. It didn't make justice for the one previously on Air Depot. Pretty sure this place won't last either. Now we know why there were just a few cars outside. Sucks for the employees that actually do work and give good service to all their customers.

Haven't been in awhile so decided to give it a try. Went early on Friday to avoid the rush but the place was still busy. The food area is a lot smaller than the old one. They still have all the food though. There is really no rhyme or reason on which was the flow goes so people were running into each other at the buffet. Had a nice selection. Asked for mid rare on the steak and got mid well. Has a decent taste just over cooked. The fried catfish was good and they came out with some fried cod. It was good but it was a little oily. Our server was hooked up and got us refills and took the plates but I noticed several others standing off to the side on their cell phones. When we went to leave I noticed the exit door was blocked and broke. Also noticed one of the 2 entry doors were broke and blocked. This left only one entry/exit point tht I could see. Might be emergency doors back farther but I did not notice. Having 2 of the 3 doors up front closed and blocked is an issue and not sure Thts even permitted in case of a fire. Anyway. It was ok but nothing to write home abt.

I will start by saying I always hated large buffets. Cleanliness... Public... Selection.... Quality......However, we gave GC another shot after many many years and it was great.This is a 5 star rating for price to quality and extreme cleanliness. The workers were all very friendly as well.I had some fried catfish, fried chicken, and smoked pork. All were excellent.The sides were varied and the salad bar had tons of fresh fruits and veg.Of course, there were plenty of desserts too!All this for less than we spend a Sonic.

For this trip, we came over to Golden Corral after my father in law's graveside service. This was a great option for the size of the party we had. This way, people could choose what they wanted to eat. Our waitress Hennessey provided excellent service during our dining experience. She gave us great direction on what to do with our finished plates. She made sure the cups stayed filled and smiles were on the party's faces. My husband and I had not been to Golden Corral in a long while, but this location was my father in law's favorite, and I can see why. The layout was great, and it made it easy to get around versus other locations I have been in. The cashier's also did a great job getting drinks orders and everything rung up properly. Thank You to the staff of Golden Corral for everything today.

People told us not to go here and we didn't listen. Bleh. Wish we would've listened. Almost all of the food was old and dry. A few of the fresher things weren't bad (really just the mashed potatoes and cole slaw. Everything else was subpar or just plain gross. They had almost no clean plates. Didn't matter what stack we checked. They were almost all still dirty. Couldn't even get the waitress to get us a drink refill until we were leaving. Then she brought us sweet teas when we wanted unsweet. Having a waitress bring drinks here is completely pointless. They should setup a drink machine and save those salaries to put toward spicing up the food options a bit (and teach people how to cook and season food). My husband said his steak was sour/off tasting. I was too scared to try it. We won't be back. Just praying we don't get sick from this mess.

Horrible... Paid $40 for two people, you order your drinks when you pay, and we had to ask for our drinks to be brought to us after we had already dished up and got our food. The food... Horrible the cleanliness of the eating area... Horrible, most the food was cold and did not taste the greatest. I can honestly say this is the worst golden corral I've ever been to! The service, well, probably some of the worst service I've ever had also the best way to describe it... Horrible! Our waitress did not clean up any of our plates, even after coming to our table twice when we had to walk up to her in the restaurant just to ask for a refill. As a server at Golden corral, your job is to clean plates and refill drinks. This experience was.....Just horrible.

Great place to gather and have a great meal. So much to choose from and always friendly faces

Food is lousy. Cheapest garbage I have had in years. I'm never coming back. Attitude of management concerning needs of customers is seriously lacking in common sense. Waisted my money.

Found a ear wig on the cheese cake, cold food,barley any food, they don't keep the food coming fast enough the pickles were gone the entire time I was there for an hour.
