Gino's was always the go-to Italian spot for Muskogee until Olive Garden opened. I decided to go for lunch, and it's changed quite a bit since I've been. The new menus are nice and have some pictures. Service has always been great. I would say portions look a little smaller. The inside is spacious, and we chose a booth that was good. My pasta primavera was good, but the chicken was overcooked and tough. The garlic knots are huge and tasty.

The food was great with huge portion sizes. Service was kind of slow having to wait awhile for our drinks but they were all very sweet.

My husband and I picked up Gino's for dinner this evening. We had not had Italian in a while, so we decided on the way home from my oncologist appointment, and stopping by the house to pick up some stuff, that we would do a door dash order for pickup. My husband decided on the pasta combination(lasagna, ravioli, and manicotti) and I decided on the seafood combination(with too many ingredients to name), and for dessert it was tiramisu for the hubby, and lemoncello cake for me. Leave it to say, we got home, called it a night, and have full tummies. The desserts were the best points of the meal. What would be great is if they offered the seafood combination in a half portion(that was quite a bit to wade through, but the garlic rolls, YUM!)

I went on a Friday around 2 and we had the place to ourselves. I had the tomato basil soup, it was good. We ordered... I don't recall which one but it was a pizza with spinach and chicken and feta I think. Wow, the crust on this pizza was amazing. I will definitely be back. The service was good, Macie took good care of us.

The service was friendly and attentive and the ambience was acceptable. With the name Gino's one would think there be an authentic taste to the food. As usual, I got the speghetti and meatballs. If a restaurant can make good pasta, that's a good start. The pasta was over cooked, the sauce was bland, and the meatballs lacked substance. Its more fast food chain Italian food, not authentic Italian food. That being said, the presentation was nice and the place was clean. Just don't mistake thinking you will experience authenticity.
