Gecko's at Lake Texoma

On a whim we decided to drive on through Madill into Kingston to try Geckos. Glad we did! Service. 9/10. Chips and salsa 8/10. Margarita 8/10. Meal 9/10 (really liked the garlic beef in the tacos and burritos). Atmosphere not really Mexican but kind of contemporary cool. The others in the area are okay, but this will be our new spot. New location on the North side of the road.

Great service. But the food is super basic. Quite frankly it tasted like everything came from a can, like the refried beans, the salsa, the pico. Nothing tasted fresh at all. Nice and clean eating area. I did NOT try any of the drinks but the drink menu did look good. But, I doubt I will ever be back to try them.

Really disappointed in this establishment, it is a Mexican food restaurant, the music in the background was not Mexican thus not creating a good atmosphere.Waitress did not know how to pronounce the name of the dishes, plus she forgot about us, it took forever to get our meal.The food was not the quality of Mexican food that I expected.Probably will not return!

I'm not sure where to start but everything was BAD.We had the lunch special, my mom ordered the beef enchilada with chili and I ordered the beef enchilada and a taco. The salsa tasted like it came from a can and the plates were hot but the food on the plate tasted like it was a tv dinner.Pros: it was close to my mom's house which helps when it's storming.The manager comped our lunch since we didn't eat it including my margarita.The margarita was great!We didn't get to see our server much but she seemed to be friendly.Cons: Bad food and the only thing I wanted while visiting was good Texmex.

Had the carnitas taco plate and a margarita. Really enjoyed the meal, service, and ambience. Margarita was great. Will definitely be back!

Cool vibe, friendly staff, good food. Close to lake texoma CATFISH BAY Marina next door to dollar general. I have heard they will be moving to a different location closer to town of Kingston near the Super C mart.

Great service, pork carnitas are fabulous. Don't forget to order the white cheese dip. It's fun to look at all the pictures on the wall. My friends and I look forward to the stop in!

We enjoyed our lunch at gecko's. The fajitas were good and the service was great. The new location is nice.

Best way to describe this place is say whitest Mexican place nice people not a place I would got for Mexican food sorry but i like my Mexican food and drinks a little closer to authentic
