Gateway Motor Inn

Haven't ever stayed here because I live in Tulsa. But for all the years that The Hex House has owned the building next door, I have been very thankful for this hotel. Oh, Why? Because they have fast, free, strong wifi that makes waiting in line, so much less boring. Thank you Gateway for your service to the community!

Grt location, pleasant staff, clean rooms. Plenty of parking space and rooms are all ground level which allows patrons to park in front of room door. Plenty of yard area for dogs.

The only reason I'm not demanding my money back and leaving is bc I've been on the road for 14 hours and apparently Oklahoma never heard of an interstate rest area. And the only reason I'm not calling the office is bc the sleeping woman at the desk can't do anything other than offer me another nasty room. Opened the door and it smells musty. Fine I can handle that, old carpet holds smells. Tv has minimal stations, again I can live with that; and there's free porn if that's your thing. Unfortunately that gives me an indication of who frequents this place. Glad I brought in my sleeping bag. Then I get to the sink area. Why is there a used nasty dirty hair comb on the counter? I look in the bathroom, the toilet seat hasn't been cleaned, the toilet paper is twisted hanging down to the floor, and the floor has bits of paper and plastic and was clearly not swept, let alone mopped. Someone obviously made the bed and emptied the trash but the rest of the room was ignored by housekeeping. More: cigarette burns on pillowcase and sheet. Smoke detector covered in plastic??? What's???I don't usually use this language in my yelp reviews, but, I'm fucking disgusted. I don't even want to use the towels to dry my hands or the washcloth to wash my face. I'm sure as hell not using the shower. I have another 18 hours of driving ahead of me and I doubt I'm going to get good deep sleep in this shit hole. Yelp really should allow zero stars.
