Gail's Grill

The cheeseburger with onion rings was fine but nothing special. The counter service was very good. The small restaurant was crowded and the stools were close to each other. The people who work there are friendly. They do a heck of carry out business.

This tiny cafe is a a clean, friendly place. It was about 1:00 when my husband stopped in for lunch on our way to OKC. The place was buzzing with friendly chatter. We were immediately greeted and served drinks. The entire cafe is about 12' X 30' with all 13 seats at an L shaped counter with spinny bar stools. Behind the counter a waitress is taking care of customers while making conversation. Behind the waitress is the grill where the cook is quickly preparing fresh, delicious orders. I ordered a taco salad that was fresh, cool and crisp. It was absolutely the freshest lettuce I've been served in a restaurant for quite some time. The lettuce was topped with fresh grated cheese, chopped tomato, grilled onion and hamburger. It wasn't anything extravagant but it was fresh and not greasy. My husband had a hamburger and fries. He praised the fries for being crispy and actually tasting like a potato. The food was good and simple while the atmosphere was homey and friendly. I felt like I knew everyone in the place. With such small seating capacity my husband asked the UPS man sitting next to him who was a regular for the best time to come in and finding a seat. He said about 2:00. We will be making Gail's Grill a regular stop.

People are super friendly and their homemade chili is awesome! Good food, great company.. what more could you ask for?

This is a must if you are looking for lunch in Hennessey. Its a tiny storefront with a long counter running to the back. They serve burgers, sandwiches, and a great chicken taco salad, all prepared fresh to order. Friendly staff and regulars. Really enjoyed the local flavor.

Great food! Best hamburgers in Hennessey with fried onions and all the fixin's! Small restaurant with only about 15 bar stools, but worth the wait.

Delicious food from burgers to hoagies and fries, small place to eat but the food is well worth it and the prices are as well!

I stopped to eat at this tiny dinner as I was passing through town. This by far it one of my favorite places I have ever eaten Reminds me of the old day when people were friendly and things were simple.

The best grilled hamburger around! They use quality meat. The seating is a little cramped, but this allows them to make your burger to your liking right in front of your eyes! Great take out too.
