Gaillardia Country Club

We were seated right away and the waitress was very attentive! The views were gorgeous, our food was great, and the side options were so good. Wish I could have tried each of them!

I'm not very impressed with the Gaillardia Country Club. I've been here a few times for a Christmas party and a wedding and it's very dull and plain to me. The main ballroom where the event is held is small. The layout, the bar, and the separate room across from the ballroom is just inconvenient. Maybe I'm biased as I've seen other more beautiful places that I'm not impressed with this one. I recently came here for a party and I'm reminded that I have to add my review. I saw a waitress dropped the lid of the water dispenser where guests were getting water. Then she picked it up looked around and placed it back on there!!!!! I know the water isn't touching it but that's just nasty. At least disappear to the back for three seconds and come back to make it seems like she tried. Yuck! Overall, the experience was like a circus. I had asked a food server if they could find out if the food contains eggs and dairy and he gave me a disturbed look. I am not the only one with a food restriction! The staffs here are mixed. Some friendly and some not so. There is no in between. In addition, the food is subpar and it takes forever for them to refill food for the buffet at this party. I'm not impressed with this club at all. For such an elegant and expensive neighborhood, the clubhouse have work to do.

The food, the drinks, the events, everything here is what you wish for in a country club (with nicer people.) I have to confess my future husband is the club manager, but the members are some of the nicest and most approachable people. You can expect food that was prepared with love from Chef Brett and service without parallel from the likes of Lupita. Whether it is a wedding, brunch or just a dip in the pool, everyone here serves with a smile and a new friend around every corner.

The staff was great that helped during a party I hosted here once. The bartender was not very friendly but we still had a great time.

I drive from NC to Oklahoma to visit a great friend we came here and it was amazing! The grounds are stunning, clean and perfectly manicured. We uses the valet car service which was fast and efficient! The food was light, cold shrimp, chips and salsa and hot meatballs, egg rolls and I think I saw skewers with chicken. Everything I had was good. I didn't visit the bar, I only had water & tea but food distribution and access to beverage was well planned and accessible throughout large venue. I would recommend this club for any large or small event!!

Pretty cool place with a pro shop and several rooms for meetings and locker rooms as well. The men's hang out area reminds me of something from a movie. I imagine it would be a pretty cool place to have a game day watch party with friends if you were a member.

I attended a wedding reception brunch inside Gallery A. We were served Italian cuisine, buffet style: salad, two pasta dishes and a chicken parm. I didn't partake in the dessert because most of it was eaten up! All in all, the food was good.The interior of the club house is quite beautiful with it's old world charm. It's like you're stepping into a different world! I didn't take any pictures inside for fear that people would notice me. I was the only Asian in attendance, so it would have been icing on the cake for me to be in awe taking pictures like a silly tourist!! Note on the old world charm- Bathrooms were beautiful- hallways and flooring covered with rich tapestries and lighting decor. This decorating style might seem dated to most people, but I studied Humanities in college and love when people try to replicate eras :)Disappointments? The salad. I think it started off with all romaine lettuce and downgraded us to iceberg after the first refill. I normally wouldn't fret about it, but it was suppose to be a ceasar salad. The chairs in the ballroom were on the ratty looking side. It kind of took away from the charming classy look IMO. The golf course is beautiful, but it looked kind of empty for a nice Sunday afternoon.

Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Just make sure to look for bugs in your salad. But really.

4th of July weekend at the pool was very disappointing. If you order a drink or food, napkins should always be included. They were out of half of the items on the menu when the pool opened on the 3rd of July. Was really looking forward to one of the already limited items on the menu, After ordering club specials for our group, we noticed that one was made without alcohol and one was made with tequila instead of vodka. The server never included napkins or utensils with our food, which was strange, especially after ordering nachos! Napkins a must! When we had to ask her to get some, she rolled her eyes. I've been associated with the club for 20 years. This was bad. Manager was nowhere to be found.
