Great hometown restaurant. Stacey and her staff are the best! Hot fresh food served by a friendly and attentive staff. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

This place is just a gold old local diner. It is full of regulars who you can tell have been meeting up here for years. Heck, I have been eating here for years, decades even! Haven't lived in Altus since the 70's but visit the folks regularly and always visit the Friendship for breakfast and sometimes the buffet. Staff is friendly, breakfast is breakfast but the buffet, in my experience is always great. We had a mini-family reunion there last weekend and took a 6 top for over 2 hours. Coffe cups, and tea glasses filled regularly with a smile. This place just feels like home to me.

Arrived when the Buffay was just put out and it was room temperature undercooked and very nasty. $13 and some change for a breakfast buffet that was inedible. Just an honest review.

It's a local favorite and I can see why. It's typical diner fare and they are known for their breakfast brunch buffet. The food is not exceptionally amazing, but this place is like the old friend that's always there when you need them to be.

To start off, I Do Not recommend eating here especially if you have eight or more people in your family. Our waitress had less personality than a sack of flour. She acted annoyed any time she was at the table and just all around rude the entire time. We had several empty cups on our table for more than ten minutes before they were refilled, if they got refilled. There were only three tables of people, there's no reason the service should've been this poor. I don't know what happened to the old staff, but the new owner should look into hiring them back on. At least they would try to have a conversation with you past "do you know what you're ordering?" And said it with a smile and a decent attitude.There were 8 of us total, which is apparently when they start charging an 18% gratuity fee? Seriously? Three were under ten and two were teenagers. The total gratuity paid was nearly $20.I would have rather left coins in a cup of water, upside down on a saucer as bad of service as we had. It's pretty sad how a hometown restaurant can go downhill so quickly.

Friendship would be like this towns Dennys . Place where you can get breakfast any time and menu is solid. Buffetts are always good and worth the visit .

terrible! all i can say is terrible i have multiple bed bug bites all over my whole body especially on my legs and arms.I am mortified.We had 3 families and everyone room had bed bugs.We didnt even get a discount for our bed bug situation.When front office was allerted they didnt even care.It started off with room 122 and they got moved to a different room and yhey got moved to room 127 and still had bed bugs in the room! My family had rooms 124,125,127.We just wanted to relax after a long day beung on the rode. But we come to this. We thought we got a good deal because the price, but i guess good price comes with consequences.

It's a restaurant that a lot of people who have lived in Altus most, if not all, of their lives go to regularly. The food is typical buffet food, not bad but nothing overly special. The service is like the food, not bad but not extra special. The inside is typical diner atmosphere. Again, not bad, just nothing that makes it stand apart.

Went in for breakfast order off the menu.The coffee is weak I got steak scrambled eggs the hashbrowns. Our waitress was great it's just the food was bland had no taste, Soul-less. I almost felt like eating off the buffet that was coming in fresh and I know for a fact that food does have flavor. Kudos to that!
