Stopped earlier with my pup, well she's 8 so not a pup. She's a small dog, less than 10 lbs so I'm am always worried abt other dogs. Since it was a little cool there wasn't anyone around so she just sniffed around a bit. Did her business, which I picked up and disposed of. We didn't stay long after tht as she was whining some and wanted to be carried. Snatched her up and headed home. Might try again when it's slightly warmer. Wasn't to bad till the sun moved lower.

Huge dog park. Small dog and large dog area. I didn't inspect the fence super closely but I felt good about my 12lb dog being safe. They also of course have the double gates when entering and exiting which were functional. I would have liked it if they closed a little better automatically to know someone might not properly close it but it seemed fine.Lots of shaded and unshaded area so take your pick.Lots of poop bag dispensers. One was empty and it was kinda a walk to the others. I had my own bag so no big deal.I do kinda want to take away a star because every trash can was full of trash (like drink cups) and overflowing. BUT it was a Sunday and it's probably a city thing to empty the trash so maybe a busy weekend.Also.. maybe I should have given it a 4 because I'm now remembering the human/dog water fountain did not work.Kind of concerning when it's 100+ if you don't know.. and you or your dog gets overheated ... yeah okay actually changing the 5 to a 4.I will say there is a dog washing hose near the entrance so if a dog or human gets overheated you can hose them down.Lots of seating. Lots of bridges. Looked like maybe some things for agility training too.

This one looks nice but there are so many large water pits and good oklahoma red dirt. May try again when it's dry. Wish there was more grass.

Very large area for large dogs. If you babies love squirrels, this is their place. Small dog area separate from large dogs. Bags always on hand.

Completely blown away...by far the best dog park I have ever seen. We stopped on our way cross country with two cooped up dogs. They had a great time.Every amenity I can think of was provided by this large and well laid out facility. Not much else to say other than the residents of Midwest City are super lucky to have this dog park. Enjoy it and take care of it.

My dog absolutely loves this dog park. Plenty of plastic baggies to pick up after your dog to keep the doggy playground clean and fun. Only complaint is the idiot people who bring there cat size annoying barking dog-cats into the big dog side this is so annoying. But other than outstanding doggy park.

First a note, chances are high that you will get dirty at the dog park and the dogs will come up to you - it is a DOG park. My dog loves this park and it's pretty nice for me too. There is plenty of room for the dogs to run, and they have little hills for them to run up or through. Lots of shade and seating is available. And there is a pool that is another gated part that is great for the dogs to cool off in. It isn't a large pool, so there isn't room to swim in it, but the dogs seem to love to go in it to cool off. It can get muddy especially around the watering holes they have for the dogs. I would recommend they put down some rocks around the area instead of hoping it stays dry, but maybe that will cause its own problems. If your dog does get muddy, they do have a hose for you to wash your dog as you go out.Mud and all, this is my favorite park in the Oklahoma City area to take my dog to, and I'm pretty sure she's happy with it too.

Both of my Boston terrier dogs (Yoda and Woola) and myself love this park! Small dog area is adequate size for small dogs and the big dog area is huge! Poop bags and rakes for picking up poop are plentiful. Obstacles for the dogs to run through. Areas for people to sit. Mud puddles for the dogs to play in, so beware of dirty dogs. Water pool for the dogs to go swimming in is an extra added plus! Most people have friendly dogs that go there and most people pick up their dog poop. They have a hose at the exit area to wash your dogs off before they get into your car. Be prepared with a towel and something to cover your seat in your car for going home. They clean out the dog pool on Tuesday and Friday morning. They're usually finished by about 11:00 AM. The city employees do a wonderful job of keeping up this park! Thank you to the city and to the employees of the city. You guys do an awesome job! From coming out and mowing the lawn's, Weed eating, refilling the poop bags, emptying out the poop trash cans, and cleaning out the pool! Awesome job! Thank you, thank you, thank you! All of us dog lovers in what area are very appreciative of what you do for us and our furry friends!

Great park. Plenty of room for running, even when it gets crowded. Water park is a good idea, but I don't like hauling wet dogs. Plenty of shade and seating for the humans also. Because of the shade the grounds stay quite wet, even far away from the water park. Best dog park in the metro for sure.

This is by far the best dog park I have taken my dog to. There is the pool and they keep it as clean as possible. I have been out there when they are cleaning it. I have 2 Siberian Huskies and a Great Pyrenees they love to go there because there is room to run and water to get in. If you go there expect to get dirty the dogs are usually very friendly and like to come up to the people, muddy or not. I was wondering if there are any rules about aggressive dogs and bring dog treats in the park? If anyone knows please post. Thank you Midwest City for having such an amazing place to take our Fur Children to play.
