The gym itself is nice. However we signed up and went for a couple months on what's supposed to be a month to month contract. Then we switched to Lifetime gym which is amazing. When we signed up they waited till the end to say the only way to cancel is to come in and get a form and mail the form to their head office. I wouldn't have signed up if I had known I couldn't just cancel right there. They do it this way to make it difficult and to guarantee they get at-least 1 if not 2 more payments from you while waiting on snail mail and someone to open it and process it. Better to just block future transactions and stay away from gyms with shady practices like this! You should always be able to cancel in the same place you sign up!

Was a member for almost a year. No issues. Contacted at the end of October they can't process my debit card. I go into resolve it. In person they still can't. This is Oct 30th. They have me call the processor. Like that's my job as the customer. Processor can't process it either. Told to contact my bank or use another form of payment. I drive back to the gym on Oct 31 and tell them to just cancel it. He says he can't until I pay past due balance for payment they couldn't process on Oct 29th. I pay them. Apparently they can process it for one time payments but not auto pay? Then he tells me I have to give a 30 day notice so I'll have another payment due at the end of November. ?? I said I'm giving you a 30 day notice right now. He says since it's less than 30 days to the next payment due (by 1 or 2 days) that I owe them an another month on top of the month I just paid. I said that's almost a 60 day notice. I told him the credit card processor your business chose is failing you and I have to pay ? He said I only work here I don't make the rules. So because they can't process my credit card I have to pay two more months of dues. Great customer service.

PLEASE READ BEFORE CHOOSING THIS GYM: I've been going to Four Star since April 2021. And while I've never been overly impressed with the facility, I decided to go there because it was smaller and is decently priced. After going to the Edmond location for a while during the evenings I notice some people bringing in other guests with them. Sometimes groups as large as 4 people with only one person "signing in" for all of them. Me being aware of the policy of not being able to bring guests(even though this is a basic inclusion in any gym membership at any establishment.) I found this to be odd, but I figured maybe this gym was lenient on this rule. Flash forward to January 2022, and I decided to start bringing my roommate just so he could try out the gym and see if he liked it before he purchased a membership. I'd brought him several times at this point and last night out of the blue at 9pm well passed usual staffed hours an "employee" if you could call him that?(very short, red mop cut hair.) decided to approach my roommate (not me who pays for the membership) very aggressively and told him he needed to pay for a membership, a day pass or he needed to leave.(great customer service tactic). I understand why of course because it is against policy and he was not supposed to be there by why approach him first when you clearly saw me bring him in? He's simply a guest and was not familiar with the policy. But ultimately he chose to put him on the spot probably because he's newer to the gym. My roommate was embarrassed and confused after being approached so aggressively and ultimately just left to go sit in his car. I decided to finish up my workout and leave, but before I can finish I'm now being approached by the same "employee" (who also works out on the clock?) Aggressively again to tell me not to sneak him in again or he was gonna revoke my 24/7 access which I was already aware of after interrupting my workout twice now I just decided to see how much time I have left at this gym because I literally never wanna come again after this. As that's happening the "employee" watches another customer (who he knew because the customer addressed him by his name walking in.) who also has a guest with him who doesn't sign in.... And he says absolutely nothing, just let's them walk right in. So I guess the rules only apply to people if you don't know someone that works at this gym A very professional establishment y'all are running here. My membership ends in May thankfully so I don't have to go through the EGREGIOUS process of canceling my membership. (See other reviews about that there's plenty.) PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS GYM YOUR TIME OR MONEY. LITERALLY GO ANYWHERE ELSE. "amenities" at the Edmond location include: *Sauna that's fits 2 people they bought at academy or dicks sporting goods *A dusty tanning room and bed that barely tans you even when you stand in there for 10 minutes *Lockers and showers but no locker room? * Rude employees *Smells like a foot.

Are you tired of looking for a gym that has open and close hours? This gym is 24/7 openTired of working out with a crowd full of people or people who are only there to stare or hang out with friends? This gym attracts only serious lifters or people who like to work out..This gym is what your looking for, no one hogs the machines , workout whenever you like even holidays. I strongly recommend giving them a try you hear and see nothing but iron heavy weights just like I like my gyms.

The gym is closed to the virus. I was billed and complained. They replied that that made a Facebook post and people should have replied if they didn't want to be billed. They also used my money to advertise and buy groceries for people. When I called them out they blocked me but think they can still bill me. The is a fraud gum

I signed a year contract with the understanding that it could be cancel at anytime for $50. I was reassured this multiple times when I signed up. We weren't happy with the gym in the first week so we tried to connect with someone to cancel. When someone did finally contact us back they said there was no one-week trial and that we couldn't cancel. Again, we tried to cancel and they told us they did have a one week free trial and that we could've cancelled. Now they are telling us there is no way to cancel the contract tract unless we pay $300. They refuse to hold to their word regarding the cancellation fee and one week trial. We had text receipts and phone calls to prove we contacted them and they refuse. The professionalism is nonexistent at the gym. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.
