Fat Mary's: Lounge and Cabaret

Ahhhhhhh so much fun! If you told Me I would have one of the most fun Friday nights I have had in a whileAt basically a barn in the middle of no where McAlester, I would have only maybe believed you. They were having karaoke Friday the night I came, and there were a ton of talented singers!! Drinks were very reasonably priced and everyone was very nice to me as an outsider. I had a chance to sing a song, and also to just sit and hang out. There's plenty of parking, stuff to do inside including a jukebox and a full bar. If you're looking for a place to sing,Dance and have Fun, This is it! (Also Honestly the only bar I found open past 11 in McAlester so there's that ;) )HighlyRecommend as a fun night out!

An awesome place to just be you! A great mix of young and old, gay and straight, of every ethnicity coming together to just have a few drinks and visit with friends!!! The owners give so much care to this bar and really take time to make sure their guests are happy! The drinks are great and VERY well priced! My wife and I usually cannot get out of a bar for under $100, but here our tab was around $50 with the tip included!The bar is very clean and there is a back area to hang out at if that is your thing!The drag shows are AWESOME!! They bring in entertainers from all over the state!Great job to this local business!!!! We will definitely be back!

I never would have expected to have so much fun in McAlester!I don't drink much (if ever), but had a freakin' blast just hanging out here and playing darts with longtime friends from southeastern Oklahoma.I had half expected to find inbred bubbas waving Confederate flags and playing banjos down in Little Dixie, but was pleased to instead meet kind, caring folks who treated me with respect AND ran one hell of a good business.I don't know when I'll be in McAlester again, but will definitely stop by Fat Mary's next time I DO go.

So I live NW Arkansas and my friends are DFW Texas. McAlester, OK is a good middle groundwork a weekend of fun. We've heard that Fat Marys is the place to be. So we thought,hey let's go check it out. Ok, we really weren't sure they were open due to Covid but they kept posting on Facebook so we said let's go! We got there about 8:45 and thought oh he'll no, this place is scary and creepy! It was dark and old. Am I'm gong to get robbed or beat up in the dark dark grassy dirt area they claimAs parking? We actually left! Drove back in town and read the reviews and said damnit we are going back! Parked the truck and went it, knees shaking and all! LET ME TELL YA. THIS PLACE IS FABULOUS! The performers aren't perfect but who are. It's all in fun! Grab your dollar bills and pre prepared to sing, clap, laugh and dance your ass off. I took 1/2 stay for creepy dark parking and 1/2 because it's smoky! It's not a big place and no windows. So if you're not a smoker it may be too much. We left 1/2 due to the smoke. But we still had fun! It's a must go!

This bar doesn't even feel like a bar. You go there and everyone treats you like family. It's a great place to go, even if you aren't LGBT.

Love visiting Fat Mary's! The people there are ALWAYS super welcoming, & the entertainment there is awesome! Not only are they opened as a bar on weekends, they also have karaoke on some week days!

The staff is top notch here and so are the drinks! Drag shows on Saturday are amazing! Love me some Bunny Lamar, too!
