Sadly fell short of expectations. The "aquatics" portion is somewhat misleading since most of the tanks were broken down, empty or in some state of disrepair. Parking lot was filled with owners and their Pitt Bulls from the bully place down the way & at least part of the stores staff was participating in whatever gathering was occurring there. Lots of big snakes. (No, no problems here with Pitt Bulls or big snakes.) The snakes looked healthy for the most part (although we have some differences of opinion in their care it seems.) My teen daughter was with me, owners daughter felt the need to point out she was younger and "in charge of all of this" before bragging about how she handles all the big snakes. The whole place had a run-down, overwhelmed & given up on feeling. We left without buying anything. Although it is closer in distance I won't even buy my frozen feeders here since I can't have confidence in them. For aquatics they are useless. I wish that weren't the case.

African cichlids? Snakes? Lizards? Community fish? Salt water? Supplies? Food? They have it all and at a reasonable price. They are pretty awesome. If they don't have it they can get it for you from tanks to freaking crickets. If you haven't been here you are missing out. BLOWS PETCO PETSMART OUT OF THE WATER. No pun intended.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would do so. I walked in and there were a few employees talking at the front counter. One woman smiled at me and I said hi but that was it. No one offered to help or even asked what I was looking for. So I walked around and started looking at the fish tanks and the reptile cages. The first thing I noticed was that the reptiles cages were all filthy. I mean, there was just ridiculous amounts of poop in them. One cage with at least 6 adult bearded dragons had more poop in their water bowl that it did water! And they were laying it! But hey, at least they had water, albeit poopy water. Most of the snakes and lizards had bone dry bowls despite the fact that many of them were in shed. As I'm noticing this, I look into one cage labled "eyeless ball python." Not only was that ball python, not "eyeless"... it was DEAD! And had been for at least two days judging by how shrunken and desiccated it looked. I pointed it out to an employee that was passing by and he looked at me like I was crazy. A few minutes later, I look back and see him pulling the poor thing out and taking it to the back, presumably to toss it into a trash can.Almost every cage was either not labeled or was mislabeled. One enclosure housing three redtail boas was labeled as One Male Savannah Monitor. Uh, no. Not even close. And most of the the fish tanks were also unlabeled and unpriced. I did notice that some of the cichlids were priced but I thought they were on the high side. Unless you're a cichlid breeder, you're not likely to spend 50 to 150 dollars on a single fish.Standing puddles of water on the floor, a whole corner of the store with some sort of construction going on and no tanks up and running, none of which was roped or signed off. And again, very unhelpful employees. But that's probably because they were too busy playing with, and I'm not making this up, a taser. A TASER! While I was looking around, thinking about buying a snake (before I saw the state of most of them) the employees and maybe what was a customer were up at the front tasing one another for fun! Yeah, that's about the level of professionalism I would expect from a store that lets it's animals wallow in filth and can't even be bothered to check that everyone's alive each morning. If you're into herps, amphibans, or fish, do yourself and favor and just stay away from this place. Aside from the discus fish and some of the cichlids, nothing looked like it was 100% perfectly healthy. If you do get something from here, put it in quarantine immediately or better yet, take it to an exotic vet. I would not be surprised to find that their animals carry parasites or disease. Partly because of the level of care that I saw (or really lack there of...) But also because they apparently take in animals on trade, meaning who KNOWS where they came from.I will never go back. Not ever.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~TLDR: Dirty cages, poorly kept animals, no customer service at all. The place made me feel sick...
