He was at my place early june , the charge was low and he added 3lbs of freon, without doing a leak check, he didn't even measure the line temperatures just looked at the suction line pressures, is a hvac contractor supposed to do that? Very sloppy job, only thing we wants to do is to as many service call as possible and freon is quick money. No looking at machine specs checking superheat or subcooling. You may be experienced sir , however you must do a thorough job, and if you can't because of time then you shouldn't do service calls. Then he wanted to change my system, without even detecting the leak, he just guessed it was the evap coil and won't just change the coil, as it was a r22 system. I don't know how this guy has so many recs on Nextdoor , makes me not trust this site.
