Equity Electric

I had Seth come to my house to install a ceiling fan and fix a few outdoor lights. The down rod I had bought from the fan store was not the right size so he went to lowes and bought one that fit. He also bought the right outdoor fixtures and supplied the right lightbulbs. Of course I paid for these items but I would not have been efficient finding these items myself. He worked in the 95 degree heat without complaint. I recommend equity electric.

Seth came out to check why my roof fans were not working. Turns out it was a loose wire connection. He fixed the problem and did not even charge me for service call. How good it that. Looks like I have my electrician for any future needs. We have used Equity Electric for other issues and they were always profession, timely, and honest. Call them if you have electrical needs. This guy obviously could give two Yahoos about people or their children.Hired equity electric to come to my home and figure out my electricity issue. It was kind of a complicated issue no doubt but they are certified, right?Guy comes out and checks everything. Didn't remove any socket panels and check the wiring. Just used a little gadget to check the wires. He couldn't find the issue. The issue was two separate walls in two different rooms were losing power at the same time. In between those two walls is a hallway. So he charges me $225 for trouble shooting and service call and leaves. OG&E comes out and does a quick inspection and finds the issue within 10-15mins. It's the smoke alarm in the hallway and it is HOT! Said it may be a loose wire and that is a fire hazard and fix it asap. I contact equity and tell them the problem was found and to come back to fix but waive the trouble shooting fee. He says no and the earliest he can come out is friday, almost 5 days away. I then contacted him through text and told him he couldn't find the issue in the first place and it was in the direct vicinity of the problem. Also, this smoke alarm is right in front of my child's bedroom. He gives in a little and says he'll come out and only charge to replace the smoke alarm. I say great ok! Then he proceeds to tell me he can't make it till the following Monday, 8 days out. Endangerment much?! This was an obvious fire hazard and above all my kids were the concern. I believe he only extended the days he could come was because he knew I'd have to hire someone else asap. I would not recommend this company. They have great reviews and I took that into account. This guy should be ashamed of himself.

I just had a wonderful experience with Equity Electric . Seth came right over after the contractor that was suppose to come did a no show. I had been without a/c for 5 days. Seth was here less than 1/2 hour and had my a/c working and cooling my house off! This is a very reliable and efficient family owned company. I would recommend him anytime. Thanks again Seth!

My elderly mother was in the hospital having broken her hip. I went to her house to pick up some things for her and her power was off in kitchen, dining and den. She was coming and we needed it fixed before we could bring her home. I called several electricians and Seth was the only one that was willing to work us in. He was also able to make it a day earlier than originally planned. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and EXTREMELY helpful in our emergency situation. I highly recommend him and will most definitely use his service again.

Just had Seth from Equity Electric fix an electrical switch issue. He was very prompt, courteous, and friendly. He saw what the issue was quickly, explained what happened, and fixed it. We highly recommend Seth and will call Equity Electric again.

They helped to put lighting on the outside of our house as well as different lighting inside of the house and had some great suggestions. Our house looks so much better, and we're so appreciative of the quality of work that they provided.

Equity Electric does excellent quality work at a competitive price. Seth takes great pride in his work and is always professional and on time. Seth and his crew just wired over 4000 ft.² in our new home. Seth never complained about challenging situations and worked quickly and professionally with multiple other trades in the house at the same time. Seth and his helpers are always polite and neat and clean and well mannered. Seth made a special trip out to help us when our RV that is that our construction site was losing power from the workers blowing fuses. He came straight out and wired us our own dedicated plug. We got multiple estimates before deciding on an electrician to wire our new home. Seth's estimate was the only one that detailed every single line item and he is always fast at providing estimates and responding to questions. We found Seth on accident when he purchased a playset from us at our current home. It was quite a few months before we were able to start our new home and Seth was still just as friendly and polite and willing to bid our job which is an hour drive away from where he lives. I can honestly say that Seth has worked night and day to finish our home as quick as possible . You cannot go wrong with equity Electric whether your job is large or small. We will be customers for life and I will recommend him to everyone I know.

I am still very impressed with the work of Seth Herrmann and his crew at Equity Electric. Once again, the quoted price was reasonable and included the final labor charge, not a guesstimate of labor. Seth gives the quote and is onsite working with his crew, all of whom work efficiently and are very professional. They take great care to keep the mess minimal and clean up afterward. This was the second job I had Equity Electic handle and I'm already looking at having them do more work for me. I highly recommend them.
