Empire Slice Shop - Nichols Hills

I like all the Empire Slice locations but this one is my favorite for when we are feeling casual. You order at the counter, find a seat, and they bring it to you. Which other locations you are seated and have a server. It is kind of pricey if you buy by the slice but if you don't want to bother with leftovers, by the slice is perfect. I had a slice of pepperoni and a Doug E. Fresh. Both were super tasty.

Great Empire Slice location (their main one is in the Plaza District and they also have one near the Railyard in Edmond) that has their unique pizza slice offerings in a relatively open and spacious interior atmosphere. Great service that is also prompt as well! Recommended!

I hate this particular Empire Slice with a passion. I went out of my way to delete the positive reviews I had previously written for the Plaza location, because of how much resentment I now have for the owners. This kind of hate isn't good for my soul.1. It's gotten expensive; almost everything is now in the $24-27 range. I get it, you're in Nichols Hills, so you feel like you can charge more, but GTFOH with these prices.2. The toppings have gotten mad chintzy; I could literally count on one hand the number of sausage pieces on the pizza, which is even more offensive considering the prices now.3. The pizza is also super boring, bland, and the opposite of... good (I think the word is bad). My 7-year-old wouldn't even finish half a slice. Which is kind of a big deal, because the kid can literally put away a massive New York slice without flinching (it's almost concerning how much he loves pizza). I ended up ordering pizza from another place the very next day, because Empire's dissatisfying pizza left me needing some good pizza to return me to pizza equilibrium. So it cost me like... $70 in pizza over a weekend because of Empire sucking so much.Also, Empire Slice pizzas don't travel well. What I mean is that any time I've actually enjoyed Empire, it was when I ordered a whole pie (from the main location) and ate it fresh. But when I've taken it home or I've ordered one-off slices, it's always been below average to downright terrible. Heat lamps and/or re-heating don't do Empire slices any favors.4. Probably the most egregious thing recently. They charged me for the box that they put the pizza in (as a line item). This kind of anti-consumer nonsense that restaurants have started doing since the pandemic is pure greed at this point. I don't know how people continue to support businesses that will take advantage of you as a customer. In summary: (a) It's more expensive, (b) despite being more expensive, it's noticeably lower in quality/quantity, and the absolute infuriating kicker (c) they're also piling the additional cost of doing business onto you as a customer.

Good NY style pizza with spacious dining area and modern vibe. Not much of a service since you order the food from the cashier.They have 4-5 types of pizza for slices.The slice pizza is pretty big i can probably only eat 2 at the most.The dough tasted good but the toppings were bit dry. Still good place to get pizza by the slice.

Back in Okc so Empire pizza was a must for me!During my last trip the ultra friendly employees shared some exciting information.1. They offer Vegan cheese although, not listed via online menu.2. All Empire Salads are made to order, which makes them easily customizable! Music to my ears or anyone suffering with food allergies. I called in my order, received a text and voila' my yummy dinner was ready. GF crust with sausage, onion, mushrooms & black olives topped with Vegan cheese.1/2 side salad minus the feta cheese and tomato's. Perfecto!

Outstanding pizza! I am glad they sell pizza by the slice, which makes for a quick lunch you can dine in or eat to go. The pink sauce is also delicious with the pizza if you are into dipping your pizza. Service was friendly as well.

This is my favorite Empire Pizza location in the city. The staff here is so friendly and the pizza at this location just somehow tastes the best. The crust is crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. It's never over cooked either. They have a great outdoor seating option with a few tables and some twinkle lights. During the week nights it's typically not too busy. This location is always clean and tidy and the music isn't too loud either. Empire Pizza, this Nichols Hills location, is near the top of my favorite OKC pizza place list. It's also conveniently located just a hop skip and a jump away from Trader Joe's OKC and Whole Foods. If you eat here first, you may have a lower grocery bill than if you went to the grocery store hungry. September 2023

Love empire and happy they have a location in Nichols hills! Convenient since I'm always at Trader Joe's we started our meal off with a salad! The full salad is perfect to split at only $8! At this location there's no waiters only counter service. We ordered a full pie for $30 with two of their specialty pizzas - one half fungus Among us (the best!!!!) and one half notorious P.I.G! Don't forget the pink sauce. Place is really casual and perfect for grabbing a quick bite while you're out shopping or meeting a friend!

Foghorn Leghorn, One piece of this pizza will have you coming back for more. Pizza by the slice, who knew, One piece is enough to keep you going. Having a party get a whole pizza, these things are huge!

Food was good. Not as great as usual service was slow sitting at bar. Not busy. Not normal for me as I come here often
