We got the #1 which was FIVE carne asada tacos. They were loaded with meat and packed full of flavor. We also ordered the carne asada burrito without rice (filler). It was also delicious. If you're a California Mexican food lover and struggle to find a decent carne asada burrito in Oklahoma, I highly recommend this place.

Here is a hidden gem food truck serving authentic Mexican food with lots of flavor. We stopped while on one of our beloved weekend 'taco crawls'. Tacos are $1.50 for the usual types, each of average size, on two soft corn tortillas. Every meat option they had was delicious, tender and plentiful. They use light marinades on their meats with maximum flavor and seasonings. I couldn't even pick a favorite. Well, actually, probably the chicken then al pastor. Both different than your typical -- not the saucy type like others do. Grilled chunks of meat, just very lightly marinated, mild as in not spicy, but very flavorful. My only issue was pork was on the fatty side (but still super tasty). Barbacoa was on point, another good option. Asada even better, with a wetter prep than I'm used to, but had nice flavor and the extra moisture made in very tender. Their creamy green salsa is very good, with great flavor and spice level. Be sure to ask for grilled onions too.The woman working the window was very friendly and helpful. Parking lot gets full and difficult to navigate, as people in the know flock here (avoiding the blue truck down the street). Some of the better street tacos around!

You have to be pretty bold to park your taco truck just down the street from the iconic and outstanding Taqueria Sanchez. I've driven past several times, but decided today that it was time to stop by. I'm so glad I did. El Taco Express offers the standard taqueria truck fare: street tacos, burritos, tortas, etc. Most tacos are $0.99, with lengua and tripa tacking on another $0.50. They have some soft drinks, water and several varieties of Jarritos. I didn't see any mention of horchata or aqua frescos. Per my typical first visit, I ordered carnitas, barbacoa and lengua tacos. All of the meats were tender and juicy. The carnitas had a good flavor, as did the barbacoa. I added a little green sauce to the pork, and red sauce to the beef tacos. Both were better than most, and within reach of the best. And while I'm thinking of it, the pickled carrot was nicely flavored. I don't know what you do to make one pickled carrot better than others, but they need to keep doing what they're doing. What really stood out was the lengua. It was perfect, and as much as I love the lengua at Taqueria Sanchez and Taqueria El Dolar, this edges them both. The texture and taste is amazing, and is well worth the extra change. So please give this place a try. I can't imagine you would leave disappointed.

They do exactly what is promised. Not too different than neighboring trucks with basic tacos. Were polite. Priced fairly. Had similar red and green sauces. Both appropriately spicy. Location is easy.

Great food, fast, friendly. Better than the blue truck, their asada is fatty now. I wish the mulitas had cheese and avacado.

I go to this taco truck all the time! They make their delicious food consistently and promptly. I would recommend calling ahead if you don't want to wait. Their burritos and tortas give a generous amount of meat for about $5.
