Lots of play areas for the kids

While in the area I stopped here to eat my lunch, then decided why not take a walk?! They have a walking trail that's .67 miles around the park, great sidewalks and some shaded spots, it was 2:30 when I walked. Just be aware of the Canadian geese, they had new babies (my visit was in May) so they're a bit squaky. No one chased me, thank goodness- although that may have made my walks time shorter if I ran. I got over 25 zone minutes on my Fitbit, that's a win! Living healthy is a struggle but I try to fit it in between restaurant reviews!!

Great little park for a nice stroll around the central pond and stream, with large shade trees and benches throughout. There are also two newer playgrounds and plenty of grassy space for the kiddos to run around. Restrooms are over near the bridge, and next door are sports facilities and the public swimming pool. And you run into the nicest of locals here who are always up for a chat. Though they could use a couple more picnic tables and possibly a pavilion.

Wonderful park to see the geese and ducks and lots of options for the kids on the playground.

Quantity and quality most times are distant cousins. This location has a good bit if both. Their sushi is fresh and they can make rolls to order, within reason. The buffet is kept reasonably fresh through lunch an dinner, but it is still luck of the draw how long it has been sitting on the steam table or on ice. The staff is always courteous and prompt with refills, and the buffet prices are reasonable. We frequent here once or twice a month to get a belly full of Asian comfort food. If you leave hungry, it is your own fault.
