Egg Roll Express

I've been coming here since 2004 for the combo fried rice. I also recommend the pepper steak. The egg rolls are mediocre in my opinion. Service was also mid level. I never got a refill on my water (the food is salty!!).Ambiance is not why you come here. It's a hole in the wall that takes cash only.

Another popular hole-in-the-wall Edmond spot I've heard about but never been to until today! I came here for a late lunch/early dinner. The interior is very simple and typical of a hole-in-the wall restaurant. Outdated curtains and furniture, but very nostalgic and comforting. I tried the egg roll- which was amazing. I'm not a huge egg roll person but loved this. I also ordered the combo lo mein (shrimp, chicken, and steak) - absolutely delicious! It was a bit oily for me, but tasty all the same. I got the small size option, but I couldn't finish it all! I also tried the combo fried rice and it was spectacular- not as oily as the lo mein, which I preferred. Service was prompt. The place wasn't too busy- there were 2 other people besides me and my party of 3 and another gentleman walked in to place a to-go order for FIVE egg rolls! - I guess that is telling of how great the egg rolls are at this spot.

Revealing both my age and that of this restaurant... I've been coming here since my college days at UCO/Central State! It's definitely an Edmond staple. Heads up, it's a charming hole-in-the-wall that only accepts cash, but the food has always been consistently delicious. Whether you're getting it to-go or dining in, you'll enjoy quick service and affordable Chinese cuisine.

Best Chinese food in town. Always fresh and made to order. The family is always super nice and accommodating. They only take cash, so that's my only qualm.

The garlic fried chicken is amazing!!! Very big portion for the price! The service was good very friendly and kept me up on how much time till my order would be done! I will definitely go back!

A fantastic mom and pop sit-in restaurant. I've come here for over 20 years and they've never disappointed me! Their egg drop soup is THE BEST and no one else's compares -- trust me, I've tried plenty from other places. Service is wonderful and they make each order fresh. This place is more than your average Chinese takeout. Try it and see!

This is not a good Chinese restaurant. Greasy egg rolls. Wierd thick batter on chicken, pork etc,,,, save your money.

Really great Chinese food but owners / employees are not very friendly and have difficulty in understanding the food orders. We get our orders to go.

Prices go up, serving size goes down. The rice serving is not enough for the entree. Pretty disappointed food tastes good, just upset that rice is where you choose to cut down. You may not be able to tell by picture, the rice is half of the normal size, and it used to come with 2 scoops.
