EF5 Tornado Shelters

I placed my down payment on March 3rd. I was told 3-4weeks and I would have my storm shelter. I have not received any update. On April 16th I asked about my order and received a general response of should be soon. I asked for another specific update on April 20th. The owner said he should receive a shipment of steel soon and would be able to get my shelter soon and was having delays due supply chain issues. Being in the manufacturing business I knew this simply was not true and checked around with his competitors.I asked for a refund. He said if I could not wait 2 weeks then he would refund my money. I asked him if I was for sure scheduled in 2 weeks. Then he came back with a May 23rd install date. I told him I could not wait that long. I called him and he said I could not get a refund and he hung up on me. I called him back. he said you are not going to have any luck anywhere else and asked if I was ready to talk civil. I asked him how I could simply get my refund back because my family is in a compromised situation And I can get an install from storm safe in 3 weeks. He said it would be a bolted together piece of crap and he would refund my money and then he hung up on me again! I tried to message him to see when he was going to refund my money and he blocked me!!! Total scam artist! Do not use this company!

You treated my husband and I with the upmost professionalism and understanding how important purchasing the best safe room/storm shelter was for us now and in the future as we get older. Tom and I are so glad we selected the above shelter which will fit our needs. Your family owned business is one of the best in Oklahoma and your products are the best. Thanks for caring !!!

We purchased a tornado shelter with EF5 about 8 years ago. It's suppose to have a 10 year warranty. June 2023 I reached out to them stating that water was getting inside the shelter. Since then I've had to vacuum the water weekly because they haven't given me a solution. I've talk to Brian numerous times, and so disappointing that they have no hurry on getting it replaced, doesn't show any empathy or understanding. They sent a welder to look at it months ago, the welder said it needs to be replaced not repaired. I've been waiting for a call from Rory who has never called. I have 2 kids, this shelter is not safe to use, it has mold and rust.

We just moved to OKlahoma and had our first tornado scare a week after. My girls were terrified so we went in to find one to get installed. Debbie had great service and was very sweet. She was very informative on the sizes of the shelters. We told her how terrified my girls were so she was able to get ours installed a week later when it was supposed to be a couple weeks out. My kids are more at ease now that we have a storm shelter. They did a great job on the install and cleaned up well after they were done. Thanks Ef5!!

We had our shelter installed yesterday. We were able to schedule it the next day. The installation crew was very polite and communicated every detail with us. The shelter looks great and they even cleaned the area and driveway before they left.

75$ service fee to come out to fix my brand new shelter and over a week away. Called 3 times and kept getting told I will get a call back. Never did. Horrible customer service. The shelter won't open and that should be fixed immediately!

VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They took my deposit and never contacted me again. No shelter, just a headache, disputes. But I did contact the BBB. =)

Helped us pick out the shelter we wanted and very reasonably priced. Installation went off without a hitch. Service was very friendly and always on point. Definitely recommend when considering a storm shelter.
