The Ledo Lounge is a great place to relax with friends.
The comment the owner made to me for saying that they had been promising to put a restaurant back in the hotel for over 4 years.

So I recently stayed at the District Hotel. Check in was great, desk staff was friendly. My overall experience was good but there were a couple things that could use improvement. I booked the king theme, which is a newly remodeled room, the room was fantastic. Some of the cons: no onsite restaurant. They have recently made improvements to the pool areas that are very inconvenient to guests. Now you must enter through the bar to get to the west pool. All other gates into pool area have been locked. So this means you are to wait till noon when the bar opens to access that pool area so there are no places to hangout till it opens. This goes for the second pool which has all gate access chained and locked till it's opened at noon. So it's very inconvenient to get to the pool to hang out in the early mornings. I'm thoroughly happy to see the improvements to the establish coming along. I wished they would only move faster and all the rooms are remodeled so you don't have to pick and choose to get a newer updated room. All the older rooms are on the decline as far as appearance and very dated. A nice fresh coat of paint would do wonders till the older rooms are remodeled.

Gotta pay to go to a green pool, with a broken filter, I saw some bugs in it. And the ravers are too rowdy. The bars are great, and other than the ravers the people are all sweet and just happy to be there.

This hotel is constantly going down hill and the new owner is awful. I made a statement online that they had promised everyone that the hotel would have a restaurant again for over 4 years. Well the statement he made to me is in the pics. Apparently he thinks his guest are suppose to pay for a restaurant if they want one. He bought a dump that he can't afford to fix and wants everyone else to fix it. The rooms have almost doubled in price but nothing has been to improve the place quite honestly it's being destroyed. Wiring and plumbing were hanging from the ceiling and the rooms are awful. The bar inside the hotel changes names every other month to try and get people to come. The health department and safety department in OKC definitely needed to know about the place and now they do. I can recommend or give one good reason to stay here. It's not safe to leave your room at night because of the druggies and homeless people that they allow to roam the grounds. OKC is a great city and the bars on the strip are great but I'd recommend staying elsewhere.

Was given what was suppose to be a King bed, upgraded room. The bed was barely a twin and upgrades were hard to notice. Several dead bugs in the room and killed several the 2 days we were there. Saturday night they play trance music until 4am and it is so loud no one is able to sleep. How the city allows music that loud for so long is beyond me! They do NOT check luggage. Although I always try to support LGBTQ businesses this one seems to be on the swinger side of things. Convenient location to the many other businesses in the area.

For the price, no. Just no. The room was not clean. The Internet was down half the time. The cable TV is touch and go, as it was down most of the time. Pool hours are crazy and don't match what is posted. Pool was not clear and clean. The room... Oh the room. TV cable wires hanging everywhere. Lamps with no plugs in which to plug them in. No maid service what so ever. No phones in the room. (And I was in a recently updated room!). Water bugs in the restroom. Mold all over the sink area. I walked around with white socks on and the socks are black (not sure the last time anyone mopped the floors). I always want to support LGBTQ+ businesses; however, at $130+ per night, a business still has to offer the value for what they are charging. And the mark was totally missed.

Everything. The rooms are absolutely disgusting. I can guarantee you the linens are not changed after each persons stay. The pillows without a cover are completely fluid stained. There were absolutely no updates to this hotel room. Everything seemed to be original, old and worn out. The room had an odor of smoke and death. They also advertise that pets stay free. They tell you there is a 75 dollar deposit. What they do not tell you, is that it is a fee and non refundable. The website makes this place look like it's an updated, fabulous place to stay. Reality is, it's a nasty place to stay and you have to fend off the sexual "predators" that lurk around your room and all over the property. Way overpriced. For the rates here, you could stay up the road and not wonder if you're going to be attacked by bugs or strangers.

I recently stayed at the District for a long weekend and was in a newer room. I can tell the staff and owners are working hard to make it an enjoyable and comfortable stay. A light bulb was out in our room, and as soon as we made the front desk aware of it, both the owner and maintenance arrived to remedy the situation. I would recommend bringing a six foot power strip as outlets are few, built in the 1950s? Also, be prepared, you need to leave the premises for coffee.

Booked a room for birthday party weekend on Saturday night. Poolside downstairs room that had queen bed - frig - microwave. Front desk check in was great. They were busy - but professional. Room was clean and tidy - sheets were clean and bed had nice white linens. Bathroom and vanity are dated but were clean. Soaps and shampoos were stocked with extra toilet paper. They could use an extra trash can in the toilet area. The pool area was rocking - so our room was not quiet. But it's a party - so we did not mind. Pool passes are included with the room. Pool bartender- Jon - was excellent. Pool was sparkling and lots of lounge chairs are available. But this is the weekend place to be for LGBT+ so it is crowded. We paid extra for a late 4pm checkout. If you expect the Omni - this is not your place. But if you want to have a great weekend with friends - drinks at the pool - free parking - walk to all the Gay bars - no hassles - diverse crowd and lifestyle - this is the place to stay. Thank you for a fun weekend. Bob H

So so soooooooooooooooooooo bad. Front staff was super unhelpful. The lock on the door was broken so we had to push the sofa chair to block the door lol tv was messed up so we had to watch Cops for the entire night. Sheets were dirty too. We couldn't find a hotel anywhere but after staying here? Next time I'll just drive back home. Definitely an experience lol
