Diamond Lake

After living here for 15 years, I am at my wit's end. The dog feces problem has become a sanitary issue and needs to be dealt with. And after speaking to the newest manager it is clear to me that it is above her paygrade. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Just moved in and the place is actually really nice. I've seen the bad reviews and honestly I haven't experienced any of it. When I first moved in the carpet was pulled up a bit in the hallway. They came and fixed the same day. It's quiet and the lake is nice. There's lots of restaurants in walking distance and places to order from. I really like it here. A lot better than my last place. I'd say come look for yourself.

There is trash everywhere along with cigarette butts all over the place, management is not helpful, maintenance does not perform tasks in a timely manner; expect to wait weeks if not months, there is no insulation. Constantly high school students crowding the parking lot and laundry mat. Law enforcement is here constantly. Very thin walls, floor and ceilings. You can hear your neighbors drop pens. If you have conflicts with neighbors management will instruct you that you are not allowed to call law enforcers that she will handle it, but never does. Will enter your apt without notice nor permission even if you have a service dog. Lights outside are never changed. Over all highly do NOT recommend

I'm awakened by the constant chewing and clawing of animals chewing through the walls and ceiling from nightfall to around 9am. I've told management and it still happens. I am frightend that any second something will have made it into my apartment. I'm planning on moving soon. The first floor is rotting from a flood and no one occupies that floor. I do not see how this building hasn't been condemned due to the mold from the first floor rotting from the flood. That particular floor has trash and furniture lying all over looking like a junkyard. The breezeways have no light so you have to use a flashlight or cellphone to see to your door or you might risk falling on the staircase. There was a big fire last June 2018 and this complex has went to crap ever since. The pool is never open in the summer for the last 2 years. And many families have moved after the fire. This place is becoming very run down since 2016. There has been a huge history of constant changes of office management and people had to use cords outside their window because the central heat and air went out.-It is 6:11 am and I have been up since 3 because of the animals chewing and scratching on my bedroom walls and ceiling. It happens in the living room as well, mind you, my unit is 550 sq feet.I have copied and pasted another Tennants complaint from February because I am still experiencing the same problems. It has such beautiful scenery to look out on the Lake but I am done with the run down conditions and poor management of this establishment.!!!!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The woman who ran the office when a friend and I lived there in 2018, her names Ashley, made us give her the keys to our apartment because my friends boyfriends bondsman showed up, she then proceeded to either steal or throw away every single thing we owned, we only got to leave with what we had on and anything we could fit in our 2 door car. She threw out our beds and the laptop my friend had from epic charters but claims she "never saw any of it" this was an awful place to live. Not to mention the entire time we lived there our fridge constantly filled it's drawers with water and she wouldn't ever send anyone to fix it, she was extremely Rude and unprofessional when she made us move out.

This is Elijah Henry I've asking about my security deposit since June 18th I did the final walk though with the manger at the time. I turned in my 30 day notice on May 25th I moved out on June 8th came back on June 9th & 10th and on June 11th I turned in the key came back on June 14th to pay a prorated out payment for June. Then on June 18th did the final walk the that manger. I was told I wasn't charged and I was going to get all of my deposit back. It's been almost two months and haven't gotten my deposit back. I lived there for 9 years in those 9 years when I needed something fixed they don't come and fix the problem. They change management constantly I'm glad I moved out. But if you move out it will be a fight to get your deposit back.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! I wish I could give 0 stars. Management is HORRIBLE!! My A/C went out twice this summer making my apartment over 100 degrees, even at night WITH fans. Management did NOTHING after I bothered them everyday, until I sent certified letters saying I would be holding my rent. This time they took a red wire from my A/C unit inside, through my window (on the third floor) and connected it to the outside A/C unit for "emergency air" until they "come fix it" pshh.. yeah right!! All I'v ever gotten from them is "for sure tomorrow it'll be fixed". But here I am still about 3 weeks later and NOTHING of course. My window in my bedroom is sealed shut with a little opening at the top (where the wire is running through) which is a safety hazard incase of a fire. You think they would do something about that considering there was just a huge fire that wiped out 9 apartment units a few weeks ago. Also my water in my kitchen runs dirty (greyish, white color) 80% of the time since I moved in with very, very low pressure so you can imagine what it's like trying to wash dishes when you can barely get clean water to come out and no pressure. But if you like having spiders as pets, you should move here. It's like spidey land or some sh*t on the stairs, breeze ways and on the balconies, it's pretty gross. When my lease is up I'm taking my sh*t and running fast, if I can get past all the damn spiders and webs.
