Denton's Picture Framing & Supplies

We recently brought a very special painting that was commissioned for us to be specially framed. I had read reviews on yelp and thought to give this place a try as they are quite local and I try to take reviews with a grain of salt. The of customer service here is what really made the difference. When we first brought our painting here and dropped it off we were told it would be apprx 3weeks- that was fine with us. When 3 weeks came and went- we gave them the benefit of the doubt. We stopped by the store at after more than a month to see what the delay was about. It was pretty clear they had forgotten about our painting. Or perhaps just seemed very nonchalant about it as it was way past due. They promised to call us when it would be done and said it would in fact be done in the next few hours. 3 days went by.. still no call or painting.Finally my husband went again to the store and they had it ready but just hasn't had the courtesy to call. There was just no sense of sincerity or care for us as a customer. Regardless, I may not have had any comments about the service if the quality of work had been good. But the icing on top was the painting we had framed came out crooked. Like they didn't even take the time to notice how they lay it in the frame. I would not have noticed how poorly they did if I hadn't recently discovered another local frame shop who actually spent time with us on a recent framing project and saw their work compared to our painting we had framed here. Overall, this place has a beautiful display of art at the shop front, but won't be doing my framing work here. Overall , we left disappointed by the quality and service of work preformed here.

I came in the store today 8/24/2021 at approx. 3:00. There was a guy with a ponytail assisting a customer. The employee ignored me for the 10 minutes I waited.After not being acknowledged. I got up to leave and and still was not acknowledged on my way out. It was just the 3 of us in the front, the customer at the counter the employee behind the counter and I in a seat close by, even though he was helping another customer at the very least could have said hello and I will be with you. I have been in establishments that were very busy and still was acknowledged. I came to Dentons because of the great reviews, however, left upset and disheartened.Everyone should receive good customer service period; along with the fact you never know who that person may be ex. critic, reporter etc.

Locally owned and operated.Very easy to find, too -- right off north Classen just north of 30th.Fast, friendly service.

I had a few pieces to frame for my new apartment. Turns out the nearest Hobby Lobby is miles away from me. (Too lazy to drive 20 minutes...) I found this little place and figured it would be better to support a local business anyway! The lady who helped me was so sweet and handled my pieces gently. She helped me pick out frames and everything. They took a little longer than I expected, but I'd told them I wasn't in a rush so I wasn't bothered by it. They did the job BEAUTIFULLY. It was a little pricey but so worth it. Can't wait to get my next piece framed by them.

I had two large canvases stretched here a few weeks ago, after just moving to OKC. My whole experience was phenomenal. I had called around a few places to get prices (since framing seems to vary wildly), and Denton's prices were low-to-average for what I was quoted. When I requested a quote, they came back right away to describe the likely price range and options I've had. Once I dropped off my canvases, they took less than 2 weeks to get completed. The work was done very well, and the people I met with were all exceptionally kind and accommodating. When I arrived to pick up the paintings, I found that they didn't quite fit in my car! While I struggled to figure out what to do, the very helpful staff came up with a solution to get them delivered to my home.The store itself is very easy to find, right off of Classen Blvd. They also have a fairly large parking lot, so it's never a problem to stop in. While I only had my items stretched and wrapped around (so I didn't need frames), they also have a huge selection of framing/matting options on show in the store. It looks like there are tons and tons of options available.I could not recommend Denton's more. They were great!

Used a sharpie to cover where the frame was scratched. Paid over $1000! Do not recommend..not sorry

Excellent! We brought in four pieces of framed art to be refurbished. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and took their time going over various options with us. The turn around was only about two weeks and we were very happy with the results. Would definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing! I had been planning on getting a jersey framed for my husbands birthday and had no idea it need to be dropped off a few weeks ahead of the day I wanted to pick up. I went by several frame shops and no on could get it done in time and didn't offer any help or suggestions. When I called Denton's Frame Shop they told me to bring it by and they would see what they could do to help me. I took the jersey to the shop and they were such nice people and not only did they get it done in time for his birthday it looks AWESOME!! I will only be using these guys for any future frame work. This is a local family owned shop and they definitely treat you as if you were family.

Denton's is the best frame and art shop in Oklahoma, plain and simple. I have been taking all my art to them since 1996. Whether they are framing my original paintings, or my friend's art, or family photos or certificates, I have learned to rely on Megan's suggestions. Her eye for what combination of frame and matting will show a picture to best advantage is infallible. Their prices are the most competitive and their service personable and friendly.
