Deep South Dinner

The name of this place has changed to Country Dining. The only advice you need about this place is to go here, eat here and be happy. Service was great. We had chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, fries and salads. The plates were huge and delicious. Highly recommended. Please see picture for awesomeness.

Traveling through Madill when decided to Yelp for a place to eat. Seen the 4 stars so stopped in for dinner. We had the fried chicken, mashed potatoes dinner. Very good. The best was the peanut butter pie.

We loved Deep South Diner and ate a lot here after the in-laws passed on and we came to work on their estate. They were only opened for breakfast and lunch, so that was sad for us. There were the usual limitations on food choices just because of costs I'm sure, but they were always good to work with leaving out ingredients we didn't want. My husband has been back this past Dec 2014 and June 2015 and said they were closed. I called the number today and woman said she bought the number for a new business - place that is opened for lunch and dinner. I think she said it is now called Country Cooking or maybe Country Kitchen (yea, I already know I am deaf.). So will check it out and update. I may need to report this restaurant as closed, and start a new entry for new place?
