My son and I were visiting OSU and were looking for something to do when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon. We're both guitar players and found this place. We decided to check it out. We weren't going to buy anything, but the guy in the store said play whatever you want. And we did. They had an awesome selection of acoustic and electric guitars, including some really cool vintage stuff. The guy working that day was friendly and helpful, even though he knew we weren't going to purchase anything. We did decide to buy a shirt and a hat. And I wore the Daddy O's shirt at one of my shows in VA shortly after our visit. Definitely one of my favorite guitar stores!

Nice guys in here. They fixed my mandolin same day and drilled a hole for the strap for free. Nice music store!

Whenever I'm in Stillwater (I'm travel from So. Cal) I always make an effort to wander by Daddy-O's. It's a wonderful shop with an eclectic selection of gear. Plus the folks that work in the shop are knowledgeable, super friendly and helpful.

Came here looking for some violin strings and was shocked at how big and we'll stocked it is It doesn't feel crowded, but there is a ton of stuff here. Thus is where I'll go for sheet music, instruments, and to see who giving lessons.

I can't say a bad thing about these guys. They take amazing care of me every time I go in, above and beyond what's called for. They're friendly, helpful, kind, and most of all tolerant of my never-ending ignorant questions. The quality of work is top notch and I don't think I've ever gone in for something that they didn't have.

I've purchased a handful of products and services from Daddy O's and although their prices may not be the best, I've been treated courteously and found their staff to be generally helpful. I'll admit I'm a beginner, but every visit that I've had has been mostly satisfying.

generally good stuff, although they cater more to the masses of beginners than to experienced musicians.

Their selection is rather bland, charging over a grand for some Frankensteined Gibsons, The Owner or Manager always sounds condescending, though even in the tiny selection he manages not to actually have a clue what he is talking about. The guitars are not set up well, I found a floyd rose Kramer that had strings thicker than wire. The entire Amp section is messy, and the staff is genuinely uninformed, yet cocky. It is truly sad that this is Stillwater's only music store. I recommend if you live in the area which I don't go to Tulsa Guitar house. Edmond music, Larsen Music or really anywhere in the state, but there. It is just an overhyped junk store. Truly an embarrassment.

Daddy O's has a new owner. Mike Shannon finally sold his business to Drew Winn, a former employee. Drew also has a music store in downtown Tulsa. I always felt welcome with Mike and I still feel welcome now that Drew has remodeled the store and stocked it with a lot more merchandise. The times I have been in Daddy O's recently, I believe the prices were about the same as you could expect at any retail store. Thanks to both Mike and Drew, Daddy O's has a large vintage inventory for those who want some of the finest instruments and amps ever manufactured.
