I ordered a new dishwasher through Costco, and Custom Installations (CI) was the vendor/contractor they assigned to get it installed. A shipping company dropped off the new dishwasher, took the old one, and bailed so fast that it made my head spin. Then I was left twiddling my thumbs, because the email from Costco made it seem like the installation and delivery was happening at the same time (between 8:30 am and 10:30 am). At around 9:30 am, I called Custom Installations, because I didn't really know what next steps were. Now seems like a good time to mention, CI's automated phone tree system is weird. It says: "... for questions about your installation, press 1 to speak to Teresa, press 2 for Darlene, 3 for Pamela." And my immediate reaction was "How am I supposed to know who I need?" That first lady, Teresa, must get like... 99% of the calls routed to her, because everyone shrugs their shoulders and goes "1, I guess?" That's what I did. Teresa informed me that my installation was happening some time between 12 pm and 4 pm (not sure if it's Costco's or CI's fault for the lack of communication there). Then Teresa discovered that I didn't even have an installer on my ticket, and told me that Wendy (which number is she on the automated system?) would call me back shortly. Wendy called me a little while later, somewhat curtly told me that Frank would be coming, and then hung up (quite abruptly). Frank texted me at 2 pm, and was at my place by 2:30 pm. All the stars for Frank. The dude was timely, soft-spoken but friendly, respectful of my stuff, and full of great information. He had to drill a bigger hole under my cabinet, because the existing hole wasn't big enough for the hose that came with the dishwasher; he was careful and clean during that process. He also had an attention (and flourish) for detail that spoke to a fantastic work-ethic. Frank aside, this whole thing could have been an annoying situation if I hadn't bothered to call, and if CI hadn't realized that they didn't have someone actually scheduled to install my dishwasher until it was too late.

We ordered appliances from Best Buy and found out that Custom Installations would be delivering and installing. The scheduler Pamela is rude/inconsiderate and after speaking with the owner, Jerry, he's not any better to deal with. This company has absolutely no care about other people's time and schedules! Don't use them if you can help it. We've already unhooked our appliances and feel like we've been put in a position of "between a rock and a hard place" now if not to proceed with this company!

They are third party installers for Costco. Be aware. Regardless of Costco giving you a date/time for install you will receive no communication from them until your appliance is delivered. They will via text let you know your install is a different day. I called them and Darlene was rude rude. She let me know they do not schedule until the appliance is delivered. Why not let us know that we when order the appliance! I had to take off two half days from work short notice to accommodate this company. Not buying appliances from Costco until Custom Installations are not the installers. Their Google site does not allow reviews! No surprise.

Wendy and Jonathan bent over backwards and went way out of their way to help me. Their customer service is the best I have seen in a long, long time. I am 100% satisfied with their service (installation of a dishwasher) and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who who needs an appliance installed. They were the installation company hired by Costco.

The scheduler was rude and unprofessional. The installer was nice but, did not properly hook up my dishwasher which failed on first wash. The office hours for are 9am-3pm Monday-Thursday, 9am-1pm Friday, CLOSED Saturday-Sunday. If your dishwasher fails and starts flooding your floor on the weekend good-luck. Pulled the dishwasher out myself they didn't even hookup the outtake hose so it was just spewing food and water behind the dishwasher.

Windy called me with a schedule for a plumber to come to my house before and after the granite install. The plumber came (Thursday) before to disconnect but did not show after to reconnect. When Windy was contacted, she denied the scheduling. Today is Tuesday, still no water.

My range went out and a new one was purchased by my home warranty company. It was arranged through my warranty company that the same service provider who initially diagnosed the problem with the range would be the one that would install the new range, after receipt of the new range the appointment was set according to the guidelines of the home warranty. Two days before installation was to occur I received a phone call from a female stating she was with Custom Installations and wanted to know if I had received my new range. After informing I had she wanted to set up the installation for the following day. Informed this person of the home warranty and the appointment with the original service provider for installation. She seemed confused and I explained it to her again. This phone call ended and no more than a minute later the same person called me back. Upon trying to explain everything again, she told me to hang on and then "Jerry" got on the phone saying he was the owner of the company. I tried explaining to Jerry about the warranty company, the guidelines and the things that were already set in motion (same thing explained twice to the female I spoke with earlier). Jerry informed me that his company did all the installations for the range that was purchased and continuously over talked me when I tried to speak. Jerry then tells me that if another company installs the range it would not be covered under warranty for labor. I tried to explain everything about the warranty company's decision and he sarcastically replied that he was aware of my home warranty company. After having to ask Jerry if I could talk, I explained to him that unless I was contacted by my home warranty company informing me that his company would be doing the intstallation, the appointment with the original service provider would go as planned. Jerry was less than pleasant to deal with over the phone and it seemed he was attempting to pressure me to have his company do the installation. I contacted my home warranty company advising them of the phone calls and was informed the original service provider would be installing the new range and that it would be covered under their warranty, to include labor. Though I did not have any service performed by this company, Jerry or one of his employee's it is very doubtful I ever will due to the attitude and statements from Jerry the owner.
