If I could leave a half star I would. If you do sign up to live here (which I do not recommend) be sure and read through the leasing papers thoroughly.. if you don't hold the managers hands and walk through you apartment with them upon move out they will over charge you. There is a clause written in small letters saying you must request a walk through upon move out or they'll screw you basically. $3000 dollars even! That's what they tried charging me for "damages" after my girlfriend and I made sure to stay 2 days past our lease just to move out properly and not leave anything too messy. I lived there for 4 years so you'd think "normal wear and tear" would equate in somewhere to that pricing. It does not. Not to mention when I started renting my rent was an over priced $930 a month, which raised over the years to somewhere around $1600 with electric and water included. They will smile in your face and stab you in the back. DO NOT LIVE HERE. There are plenty of decent apartments around the same area. Not to mention, my building constantly reeked of marijuana smoke, which I don't mind so much but I'm sure some people would. And I do mind because they tried charging me over $600 dollars for smoking fees! I don't smoke! Oh also I had a leak because these geniuses decided to replace the roof during one of the biggest thunderstorms of the year. Ruined my couch and tv but leasing office toldInsurance it was MY fault. Anyway, TL;DR They will over charge you tremendously, without warning, and report it to your credit without the chance to settle anything first. They'll be nice to your face and stab you in the back. "They" being the leasing managers, and Brandy. It doesn't really matter what new managers she has because she teaches all of them to be crooks. And let me tell you, I've seen multiple people come and go from that place all due to her. Anyway, have fun shopping for your apartment I hope you find somewhere and someone who respects your rights as a tenant and doesn't try and take advantage of you.

This is house that you can call home! I've lived here for 1.5 years and I appreciate the community every day!Pros- it's quite, spacious floor plans, reasonable rent rates, fantastic location close to grocery, gas, hospital, and more. Updates to the Fitness Center are almost done and renovation around the Community Garden are looking good! All the staff are kind, friendly, and responsive to needs. Cons- I'd like to see more community events.Mention that Christie Martinez sent you when you check'em out and I'd be glad to take you on a tour! I do not work for Crown Martin, I just call it home!

I lived here for one lease. And I hate it. The capers r cheap and they don't clean it before u move in. The kitchens are old and way too small. Maintenance is nice and comes out next day. But the office manager is just full of attitude, excuses, and is very vindictive. Rent is very high for as old as they are. Carpeted bathrooms, yuk. Just old and awful. Dog poop everywhere. The only one trash dumb is always overflowed in the streets. It's just nasty.

These apartments are what my husband calls "Just a step up from living in the ghetto ". They charge far too much for the horrible carpet that rips up your skin, heat and AC units that don't work well (enjoy a $400 heating bill in the winter, & we keep our heat at 68). While the maintenance staff is super nice, the women in the front office are another story. The front desk girl will get an open attitude with you (Kat was the best, shame she left), the others are at least smarter and more passive with their rude comments. The cameras they have facing the gates don't work, so good luck if you ever need them for a crime that's committed, the gate codes haven't been changed in years so people who are former residents still come with all their friends and swim here, cigarette butts all over, dog poop all over, paper thin walls, small sq ft for $950+ a month. There's literally nothing redeeming about this place. Oh and their kitchens are sub par, small, and generally make you feel claustrophobic and the "on site facility" washers rip up your clothes and take 3 dryer cycles to dry. They also have a serious mouse infestation all over the grounds and 0 furniture actually fits in any apartment in building 14, as Kat at the front office once literally admitted. The best thing about here is they have assigned parking, literally the only good thing. After moving out they owed us $75 from a double billed water bill and Melissa, the manager, refused to be bothered to call us back even.

I rarely ever write bad reviews but I'm doing this to save future residents from wasting their time and money at this place. The unit we moved into had soiled marks on the carpet and obvious signs of a mice infestation. When we brought up our concerns to Brandy who works in the office, we were met with an attitude and excuses. If you decide to move here expect to be over charged for sub par amenities and service. We've had issues with our AC units since we moved in and nothing was ever done to make the situation better. Moral of the story is...live anywhere else but here, I've had better living conditions in a college dorm.

Anytime I ever calked about a problem or emergency, it was immediately fixed. It feels so good to live at a complex that cares about its community. Brandy has always been very helpful & outstanding in assisting me. If you're in the market for a nice apartment with wonderful staff, go by and take a look.

First Pros: The location is very nice. Annoying to get out on Memorial Road one way but it is near a lot of stuff and not busy. And that's about it. Next, Cons in chronological order:Moved in to apartment that would not really fit any furniture, but that was ok bc we didn't really have any. Noted on move in date that several of our windows did not open. Lived there 4 years and they were never repaired. Moved away from person who was stalking us and when this person called the office to see if we lived there, the office informed them we did and what apartment we were in. Told office during move in that husband had PTSD and we were trying to get an ESA service pet. We were still charged for the pet fee, deposit, and monthly pet rental fee. We were informed after moving out that it was bc the doctor's note for the pet was written by a physician's assistant instead of a doctor. Also, maintenance kept coming into the apartment without knocking or notice while my husband was asleep during the day since he works nights and he would wake up to someone in the room. Not good for someone with PTSD or anyone for that matter. Leak on balcony roof was "repaired" several times by just applying new wood and paint. Several Workers climbed up onto balcony using a ladder to work on our balcony. We were not given any notice; just suddenly saw men walking outside our windows on our second story balcony. They were very lucky they were not harmed. Balcony door and front door had large gaps that allowed drafts. Constantly reported and after 3 years when they wanted to finally come and repair, it was during COVID when I was sent to work from home and could not have all the repair noise in the home. The windows were drafty and iced over on the inside during extreme weather on winter months. Maintenance report put in and nothing done. Outside Apartment sprinklers were reported that they sprayed our car several times a week for months/years before it was adjusted. Neighbors/visitors constantly parked in front of our garage and allowed dogs to leave poop on the grass next to our car. Our AC was out and not repaired for 3 months during one of the hottest summers we have had. The Neighbor would work on car underneath home with very loud noises and gas fumes coming up into the apartment.Maintenance worker cracked the bedroom door while repairing the AC. This was never repaired although we put requests in for it several times and we were charged for it after we moved out. They stated it was user repair and their maintenance would have let them know it they had damaged it. For a worker that no longer worked there. The gates coming in and out are often broken. The trash compactor is often over flowing with trash piled up next to it. We were quiet, kept to ourselves, and were never late with rent but they still gave us notice to get out during COVID 2020.When we moved out and came back to the apartment to turn in our keys and check to see if anything was left behind, maintenance was already inside working in the apartment and the AC was blasting at 60. We were informed that we are responsible for all utilities even if we leave early. We hadn't even turned in the keys yet. Also, the days we left early were never prorated even though we have an email from the manager stating that they would be.

Charged me twice for carpet, and didn't do a final walk through with us. Charged for a fire extinguisher that was never removed... pretty bad experience. Brandy the manager was very egotistical to say the least. Water was very chemically, said they fixed it in emails but never tasted like tap. You'll need a filter

This was the nastiest apartment I ever lived in. The garbage disposal emptied into the dishwasher even after three repair calls (seriously!!), the water was brown either from a rusty hot water heater or a busted line (think it was the latter as there is a hole in the ground outside the patio with exposed pipe), and there was a four inch buildup of rotted gunk in the bathroom sink drain that smelled more putrid than any rotten egg I ever smelled, made me want to throw up when I tried to brush my teeth, one of the bedroom window frames had rotted, fallen off, and was laying in the dirt. I am a federal employee.
