Country Dove

On our travels across country we try to find places that are unique and memorable. We successful in our choice today. The service, food along with the conversations amongst strangers could not have been better. I would write about the meal ( chicken sales sandwhich & casserole ) but to be honest can't really pick out 1 over the other as they were both outstanding. We will definitely note this and stop again when driving through the area.

I love this place! Every time I am working in Elk City, I stop in for lunch or call my lunch order in to go. I always get the Delite Plate with the avocado chicken salad sandwich (which is insanely delicious) which comes with a little sweet roll, honey butter, a side (I always get soup) and a slice of pear jello. The pear jello is like nothing you've had before. I thought it sounded strange, but it's creamy & delicious! Perfect ending to the meal. The restaurant also has a cute little store inside, which is great for gifts! The Country Dove is a must visit whenever you're in Elk City!

Food was okay. Reminds me of hospital food. The potato soup is their specialty it was okay. The lemonade is a powder. For a tea house they really don't have a selection of teas. Server was so bazaar. Ambiance was nice. The shop was the best part. Honestly, it was so disappointing.

A charming tea house that offers several homemade specials and is known in the area for their delicious French silk pie. Their lunch plates are a delightful way to sample their soup, surprisingly yummy pear jello ( name does not do it justice!) and heart shaped bran muffin. It was quite busy in this Wednesday as we imagine it is every day. The owner greeted us, our waitress Bobbie was very attentive. Clean, nicely decorated, and enjoyable luncheon/gift shop.

Came in around 2:30 which ( they are only open until 2pm for lunch) after briefly speaking to the woman who greeted me, I walked back to myCar and started browsing other lunch spots. The woman came out and asked if we would be okay with a chicken avocado sandwich and some desert which was all they had after lunch. We happily agreed. The MOST lovely ladies in this store. They didn't have to take us in but they did with smiles, and were extremely friendly. The service was superb and the food was very yummy! I would highly recommend this place not only because of that but they're also a gift shop with tons of cute items for purchase. Nicest people I've ever met!

Wonderful & a blessing of a time here at the Country Dove. Such a wonderful atmosphere, food is great & homemade & the service is tip top. Great items for sale the lotions are wonderful & the bibles & devotionals that are for sale are great as well. I bought a few books today and had the chicken avacado croissant delight plate with homemade potato soup , raisin ban muffin with honey butter . Oh so good.

This place is a treasure. Great homemade food, friendly staff, just right portions. So glad we stopped on our Route 66 road trip.

Everyone should eat here if possible! Such a great place with the nicest people. I have been going here for years and will continue to go. It's always clean. You must try the French silk pie!

Such a unique place serving scrumptious daily lunch specials and sandwiches with dainty serving sets. And who doesn't love peach tea! A local favorite in Elk City with a gift shop nestled around the dining areas. The nicest ladies you will ever meet. A visit to Elk City Oklahoma is not complete with brunch at the Country Dove.

A cute little Tea room. They make a fantastic creamy chunky potato soup and the chicken sandwich was very good too. I think the chicken salad sandwich would be even better with a bit more chicken but it was really tasty nonetheless. I could have lunch here at least once a week, but it's a bit far from Toronto.
