Country Club Motel

I've stayed at this motel many times. I'll address the negatives first. Management needs to replace their mattresses, and new carpet wouldn't hurt, either. Bring your own towels. It would also be nice if there was a TV channel list in the room. As to the positive aspects, I will say that the rooms seem clean enough and I've never seen a bug or a mouse in any room I stayed in, although I found the sight of a mousetrap under the dresser somewhat disturbing. The heat and A/C work fine. Each room has a micro fridge. The motel is located directly behind a decent Mexican restaurant, which is right across the street from a McDonald's and a Walmart. I've never dealt with the manager, so I can't comment on his/her attitude. My husband always checked us in. However, if you read Country Club Motel's ad on their website, you'll find that it's almost chocker block full of lies. It's not a bad value at $49 a night, just don't expect anything more than the basics.
