I had a great time at Cooper's today! They have great selection of used bikes. I found 2 trade-ins that fit my needs perfectly! I was also given a discount and free gift for buying 2. The lady working was very accommodating and let me test drive any bike I wanted. I am over the moon happy with these bikes! They shifted great and has new tires. A great value especially in this weird time when bikes are scarce. This is my 3rd time to purchase from Coopers and I will return again.

I have my bicycle stolen about a week before I came into this shop. I found the guy/my bike they had already stripped it down and left it a wreck, so I needed some new parts. As I entered I was greeted by a young man welcoming me to the shop and asking how he could help as he inflated a tire. So I explained to him that I was looking for a break cable line that was in a different color than black, suddenly a grumpy looking older lady just loudly said "HOUSING", I had no idea if she worked there or was a random customer just saying words. So I continued, she again just loudly said HOUSING! So I looked at her and jokingly said "I'm not a bike-ologist so I don't know what it's called" she said in a disgruntled tone "well I answered your question let's move on". At this point I realized she was the boss so I started to talk to her, she gave me the most hateful look the entire time and cut me off when I began telling her what type of bike I have, I said "Huffy..." she interrupted "that's like saying FORD!", she didn't care. I easily could have given her the specs on the bike. Then 2 older men came in, interrupting her saying they would come in when they were kids and she literally ignored me after that and started talking to them like they were old friends. I have 4 kids, 2 need new bicycles, and I was looking to spend an easy $200.00 that day to repair my own. She had ZERO care for gaining a new customer and possibly a next generation of customer from our family even. they have a sign saying, "shop local". I love supporting local businesses, but only if they treat the locals like they actually WANT their business.

A grumpy old lady runs this store and she wants nothing to do with you while you're there. District is where we normally go, and for good reason, but they're closed on Mondays. So we decided to go here to get my tubes replaced. I don't know a whole lot about bikes, but I told her the tire size and what I needed done and she just responded with an eye roll and grumpily said "well I can't do anything unless the bike is here." We had the bike with us, just didn't wanna bring it in the store if they couldn't do anything, so i went out and grabbed it. They took it back without saying a word to me, just grabbing it from my hands. 15 mins later she comes out and says it'll be $40... 2x$8 parts and $21 of labor. Then we paid, said have a nice day, and she just stared past us and didn't respond. She was also rude to the other customers before us that we stood behind in line. She "shoed" them out of the way when it was my turn. We'll stick to district...

Went in to make sure I knew what size bike I needed after not having ridden in 10 years. Was late on a Friday and the owner was great help in talking through what i was really looking for and I ended up buying a bike and helmet. Has cats, not a cat person, but they did not pay me any attention so whatever. Team got all my accessories installed super fast and helped me fit it i to the car since I was not planning on buying it took some effort given how full my trunk was.

I went into Cooper's Bicycle Center for a quote on selling my Trek road bike. The owner was very rude and not helpful. She seemed irritated by the fact that I didn't know the specific model/type version of the bicycle in which I purchased the Bicycle back in 2015 and had limited use with it so I didn't recall much information from that time. Her attitude towards me and being new to the bicycle community rubbed me the wrong way and I did not return to support the business because I did not feel welcomed. On the other hand District Bicycles provided me with EXCELLENT customer service. Their Bicycle experts talked with me for hours, did not rush me and were so positive and enjoyable. I would go to District for any bicycle needs.

I haven't purchased a bicycle from them but I did visit to test ride a few. The bikes both seemed great. The guy who helped me was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. We got to pet the two cats inside!! We didn't not notice the cat urine smell some of the other reviewers mentioned.

I had a blowout late in the evening, got to Coopers about ten minutes before closing time. I explained that I really wanted to ride the next morning and if possible could I get a new tire right away. Within 5 minutes they had new tire on and ticket ready. Can't beat their service! I'm a dog person and I still love the cats.
