Coney Island No 2

I've never reviewed this place but, I used to come here as a kid often. Have been back over the years as often as I can. What's not to like about this place? They make a great coney for super cheap. I love it!

Don't let the neighborhood or surroundings detour you.This is a little old place, been here forever. It seems. But there's a reason they're still open. It's a place for the common man to come and get an affordable meal. The menu basically consist of chili, Coney and spaghetti. Plain and simple. Those girls can throw a hotdog together and under two seconds. We fed four people drinks and dogs for under $18. I don't know where else you can do that.

Strong bleach odor as you walk in. Cash only and no refills. You only get 4 sips out of your drink bc of all the shaved ice. Dogs are okay. Sonic's dogs are better by far.

I've eaten at the No 2 for 30 years; 2 coneys all the way and a Dr Pepper. The couple behind the counter are always friendly. It is good to see them. I need to go there again. The Sooner memorabilia is always interesting. Parking was never a problem.

Since I was 4 years old, I've enjoyed these small hot dogs called Coneys in this location in Capitol Hill..It started as Bob and Mary's Coney Island way back in the 50s. My parents would either dine at the one downtown or at this location with was a half block east back then. For me, not only are these Coney Dogs absolutely the best I have ever eaten. They are reasonable. They use Schwan's Meats and Chili. This has been the tradition of Coney Islands since their inception. Every time I eat here or downtown or at the one in Downtown Tulsa. It brings me back to my childhood and the wonderful flavor of these simple yet incredibly good little Coney Dogs. They also have other items on their menu. Chili, spaghetti, and other related items. I think you'll love this place as I do. I highly recommend this place. It's clean, it's fresh now. Not out of a plastic tray ready but in a steaming hot hot bath with hot buns. Good chili, cheese, and onions fresh ingredients. Start your own family tradition. This is absolutely the best. No frills, no guesswork. Inexpensive restaurant.

It is all you expect from a Coney Island. Fast service, great hot dogs smothered in delicious steaming chili. I love going to old buildings and mom and pop stores. This one is both and I wasn't disappointed. The hot dog bun was steamed and soft just like I like them. The chili was hot and not overly spicy. I'm not a fan of spicy hot food so I loved it. Just the right amount of cheese and it was melted perfectly. Also the price was great. We both ate abs had drinks for $11 You can't beat that. If this was closer to us we would be regulars

Best hot dogs in town. Love the couple that run the place. Love going there each time I am in town.

While I am partial to my beloved Coney I-lander in Tulsa, these coneys were really good. Loaded with mustard, chili, and onions and the red casing hot dogs, (I've only ever had one time before) they hit the spot!This experience was only enhanced by their extremely friendly staff and ownership, who gave me a coney to try as I was an out of town first timer.The place was well lit and decorated for the holiday including a live Santa.When I'm not in a rush and just looking to add to my coney rankings I will return.

Review #2:Best hot dogs in Oklahoma City by far. Restaurant is very clean and the service is quick even during the lunch rush.

I ordered the chili cheese pasta seeing the picture online and there was less chili from what was presented and the noodles are dry.
