Choctaw Creek Golf Course

Was going to drive some balls but I wasn't sure if the driving range was open. They had done equipment parked up underneath. Drove up to the building but didn't see any signs abt the range nor was anyone using it. Quite a few cars in the lot. The range looked good as did the course tht I could see. I played here before any of the houses were built. They were still clearing the land for the houses and the course. It's came quite far. Also noticed Charlie's hat moved over here.

I used to be a member there and enjoyed it very much. Physical problems caused me to drop out last couple years. I inquired about the on line problems. The answer was the course no longer uses that service and they have tried to get it taken down, however, the company running it refuses to take it down. I would think the city could resolve that. I'll tell you what, this course will really surprise you. From the outside looking in it's like a sub par muni course... But the fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Only cost eight dollars to play after 5 o'clock on a Friday, too! I will definitely be back my next time through.

Wife and I played 9 holes today. Even with the greens under repair along with other areas we really enjoyed the course. The staff was very nice and really excited about the future of this course. We also ran into the Men's League enjoying the course.. around 25 of them.. looks like a blast, I think I will join that group. 4 stars because they really made us feel at home. Thinking of becoming a member.

Not a bad course. Sure it could be maintained better but I'm not going to complain about that. My biggest issue is with their online reservations. It states the rate INCLUDES cart and yet several times when I've shown up with a tee time the gentleman working has charged me an additional CART FEE on top of the online booking fee that's supposed to include Cart fees. If the employees are that clueless about how their online booking fees are setup I think that's a HUGE problem. If I return to golf there I will definitely bring it up and refuse the extra fees next time (if I give them my business every again)

Carting here is like driving a tractor through Appalachia. Trash everywhere, weeds everywhere and a depressing store front. Cities have to make tough calls when there aren't enough funds to go around -- this public course is evidence of that.

golf rate are to high for this course, web sight says one thing and they charge you another. person at counter . they need to change sight prices. also I called on a wed, for tee time on sat, and they never had it on the book for tee time. that and rates were very upsetting. next time I am going to bring the web rates and they will honor them or they wont have me there again
