The location and interior leave a lot to be desired but that's not why you come to China Olive. The food is consistently good and we've been coming here on and off since 2014 (we briefly moved out of state and the Chinese takeout in Colorado Springs left a lot to be desired)Favorite dishes include:Chicken CashewChicken & MushroomBeef & BroccoliDragon Meets PhoenixKung Po ChickenGeneral TsoWe've enjoyed most of the appetizers too. I also like the option to have your food steamed with sauce on the side so it's healthier, and have done that a few times with the chicken/beef and broccoli/vegetables dishes. Still tastes good but better for you. The service has never been a problem except one time we ordered ahead via beyond menu (as we usually do and have done for years) and arrived at our pickup time and the younger girls working there had only just shown up to open late. There was no explanation or apology, and they seemed annoyed at our disappointment, and didn't seem to be in any hurry to start cooking, so we canceled the order.

Food was average. Employee was not friendly, and knew only limited English. Not real clean. I don't recommend this joint.

We always enjoy our experience with China Olive. The food is also made right when you order it and our orders are always correct. Hot, fresh and flavorful food. The employees are always courteous and the restaurant is always clean. We've been coming here for years and we will continue to support this local restaurant. You should give them a try if you're in the area!

Fast Chinese food is everywhere in OKC, and China Olive came out on top out of the dozen that I've eaten at, which says a lot!Their fried rice isn't that weird yellow color that most mid-west Chinese places offer. And they don't skimp on the bbq pork; the pieces are nice and big. Shrimp dishes also have bigger shrimp than what is included in the fried rice, which is great. And their lo mein and egg foo young also taste great. The real star of the show for me is their fried chicken wings. They used to come with 5 full wing pieces (thigh and wing connected), but now they give you less, but they still taste amazing. And it's by far the best value for wing-for-buck in town. I've actually added my own hotsauce to the box/bag and shook it up to make my own hot wings.Nothing much else to say except that it's a very convenient distance from Tinker AFB, and they have made changes to their building to be more protective from Covid, which is great. If you guys have had trouble looking for a regular place to have Chinese, look no further. This place is better than any Chinese restaurant in Moore, SW OKC, or Midwest City!

I do not recommend this place. It was one of the worst Chinese takeout places I have ever tried. Let me tell you why. For starters the Fried rice was just white rice with some veggies and pork and maybe a packet of soy sauce thrown in. It definitely didn't taste nor look like fried rice. The Kung pow chicken was made with large pieces of breaded chicken with some cut up veggies and almost zero sauce added. I don't know maybe the breading soaked it up, not really sure. I've never had breaded kung pow chicken, Ever. The Moo Shu pork was mainly cabbage and onions. And it just tasted off. And for the finale the spring rolls are slimy inside it just wasn't the correct texture for a supposed crunchy spring roll. However the white rice and the crab Rangoon tasted ok I'd eat those again.

The food was great. The wait for the food was long, I suggest calling it in. No dine in option.
