My mom and I stayed here for our impromptu trip to Sulphur/ Chickasaw National Recreation Park, and it was awesome! We were so surprised, not because we expected it to be bad, but just because it was better than expected and we were practically the only ones there (to be fair, we were there in the middle of the week rather than a busy weekend). So definitely a hidden gem. There's a much more popular hotel in town, but I'm so glad we chose this one instead. It's not technically a hotel I guess, but it works like one... and has more interesting things than a typical hotel. It really is set up to be like a retreat and conference center, so the name isn't just for show - you can tell that they've really thought about how to make spaces that work for those types of events/ situations. For example, there are plenty of different meeting and conference rooms, and they have a FULL gym, not just a treadmill and some weights like many other places. See the pics for what I mean! They also have a cool lounge area, complete with an open fireplace in the center of the room. Both my mom and I thought how cool it would be to be sitting around there in the fall. They also have a pool and hot tub, like many other hotels. There's a sauna in the locker rooms, which I thought was pretty cool, and it looked nice but we didn't decide to go in. Speaking of the locker rooms: they're also very nice! Definitely well-kept.The views from the hotel rooms are also STUNNING (and I do believe all the rooms are on the same side of the building, so all have the same view). The pictures unfortunately don't do this part justice. Because it's truly out in the middle of nowhere (only about 15mins from the main part of town though), there's just pretty land for as far as you can see. The rooms are pretty standard: two queen beds, a fridge, keurig with a few options, bathroom with shower, and closet. No microwave in the rooms, but there was one downstairs where they had the ice and coffee. I appreciated that they had more than one type of flavored creamer (powdered). I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I got some because they had amaretto flavor, and it was good!!!At first because the drive there was so quiet and empty, we were a little unsure about what we'd gotten into, but as you can see it ended up being a great place to stay! I almost wish we were there longer. Would definitely go there again!

The perfect place when you just need some peace and quiet, rest and relaxation. Helpful staff, nice facilities, and beautiful scenery. The only thing missing is dining. Even a little sandwich shop, oh say, something like Bedres cafe, would be perfect.

This is a hidden gem and is nestled among one of the most beautiful areas in the USA. Yes, in Oklahoma! It is gorgeous! The rooms were very nicely decorated and clean. The hotel was quiet and the staff was accommodating. I will be returning soon! I can't wait to hike the trails near the hotels and to check out the falls and natural springs.

Firstly, let me say the view from our room was really pretty. Our room was clean and decorated nicely. We went to a wedding here. The area where the weddings are held is smaller than I thought it would be and as they were playing music, everyone noticed a speaker was blown. It was pretty bad, you could hardly understand some of the words to the song. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We did pay 15.99 for a buffet that wasn't really all that great, but when they're aren't any other options, you do what you have to. They had a thunderstorm that knocked the power out. I woke up in a sweat puddle in they millet of the night. I opened the windows, they only went open about 3 inches, and that provided a bit of relief. About 630 a.m. I woke again because it was so hot. When I woke again at 8 a.m., I called the front desk and they said nothing could be done. I get that and in no way am expecting a miracle, but how does a big, nice hotel like this not have s back up generator?? That is what blows me away. I gave it three stars because it looks nice and they people are friendly but we couldn't use any of the hotel, except the bed (and barely that because it's so hot you kept waking up) I couldn't even take a shower. Gross.

We made an unplanned stay here after getting stuck on I35 during the summer floods of 2015 when part of the mountain collapsed on the highway. We were so pleasantly surprised! Clean, spacious rooms, indoor pool, HUGE workout facilities, indoor and outdoor walking trails, a sauna, and a spa. The breakfast was nice, tasty, and plentiful. We plan to go back and spend a long weekend and really enjoy the amenities.
