I haven't been to the ball park in years and it was good to be at the game. Unfortunately it was cold so I left at the 7th Inning stretch. OKC ended up losing the game.Just means I'll be going back when the weather warms up!

We came here in the evening just to kick back as a baseball team while we were out of state for away tournaments. This was a great way to relax, enjoy teammates, adult time and watch a good game. OKC lost but our boys and the families had a great time at this ballpark watching the game.

Here I was at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! CBB is home to the Los Angeles Dodgers AAA Minor League affiliate.I was visiting Oklahoma City back in early September 2021 on Labor Day weekend. I was actually attending a Sunday game pitting the OKC Dodgers against the New Mexico Isotopes, the Colorado Rockies AAA team. The front of CBB is known as Johnny Bench Plaza with a Johnny Bench statue standing tall in the heart of it all. This front section of the ballpark is good for grabbing photos. The ballpark is located across the street from the downtown Bricktown area of OKC with a charming river running through the heart of the city including restaurants and shops (similar to San Antonio). So, before a game starts, you can hang out for a few drinks and bites to eat, and then simply walk over here to CBB.Tickets for Dodgers games were inexpensive...- $12 - to just sit on the grass lawn in the outfield.- $17 - for a seat either down the 1st or 3rd baselines in the upper deck sections. This is where I purchased my ticket. I had fine views from my seat and obviously you're not too high up for being at a minor league baseball game.- $26 - for a seat in the lower section between 1st - 3rd bases.- $33 - behind home plate.Something quick I'd like to mention...I have attended every MLB baseball park in the USA. But from time to time when I'm checking out a new city that's sort of considered under the radar...I'd definitely come to a AAA game where possible. In fact, just thinking about things...I have seen minor league games in places like Indianapolis and Charlotte, two big cities...but not major ones like New York and Chicago. The start to the day game was 2pm central time. I would say there were about 500 fans in attendance, so ultimately being here at CBB was pleasant and fun activity to enjoy a Sunday afternoon on towards the end of summertime. For being inside the park, I really liked the outfield setting towards left field where the electronic Oklahoma City Dodgers scoreboard sign was situated, and the Hampton Inn Suites and Hilton Garden Inn Hotels hovered over the park in the background. If interested, you can stop by guest services near the home plate area of and tell them you're attending an OKC game for the first time and they'll happily give you a free Dodgers pin to say you've officially made it to CBB, lol.Overall, seeing a Dodgers game was a cool part of a weekend visit for my first time ever to Oklahoma City. The game fit in well with my plans. It felt like I was attending a farm league baseball game in the heart of the grassy plains of Middle America. I enjoyed the experience and would certainly return here in the future.Alright well this is Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in OKC, home of the Los Angeles Dodgers Minor League affiliate.

First things first, the only minor league park we've been to that can compare to this is Zephyr Field. The concourses are wider than Wrigley, and unlike Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, you do not have to walk through gravel halfway around the park. The team shop was well-stocked, even if they did not have any visors (neither did Sugarland), and all the employees at the ballpark were OKC friendly. The park is spacious. The food selections are plentiful. THEY EVEN HAVE REAL, FARMER JOHN DODGER DOGS!!!!!!Easy in, easy out. This is one of the new evolution of built into the community parks like Autozone in Memphis. We could not be happier with our experience today, and there is no doubt we will return for at least a couple of games next season. Put this ballpark on your list!My last commentary here - this is ballpark #69 for me. Only eight of those are minor league parks (baseball) & about ten more are for other sports like hockey, arena football and so on. Of all of them, this is right at the top of the list. It doesn't matter if you know the players or root for their major league club. Most of these kids are living off $1k or less per month, and they love having support. Please support any minor league sports you can, and treat both teams with the same class you'd expect if it was your kid out there.

I love going out to the ballpark to watch an exciting ballgame. It is located right in downtown Oklahoma City. You can find tons of parking downtown. You can come watch the minor league OKC Dodgers at this stadium. There is plenty of space to walk and not get lost in the crowd. There are plenty of concessions and I love that there is a small bar area where you can stand and drink if need be. The place is airy and the restrooms are always clean. The seats are comfortable and offer a place to hold your drink. They offer a lawn area where you can bring a blanket and sit and watch the game. This is the perfect spot for folks with kids. I recently visited the suites during a game and it was an easy find. Staff is on-site to check your ticket and direct you towards your room. The suites were very clean and stocked with food, drinks, and plenty of seating for folks. Most importantly there was air conditioning, tvs, and a perfect view of the ball park down below! This was a great option as it was raining outside we were in our own oasis enjoying ball park food such as mac n cheese, and pulled pork sandwhiches staying nice and dry. The restrooms were cleaned often in the suite area however, that is not the case down below. Come enjoy a game during the summer or visit the park for one of their many events. Either way it's a staple of the OKC.

Went here for a savanna bananas game and was surprised at the lack of security, as in anyone could've brought anything in. None of the food stations served burgers. I was also sad to see no non-alcoholic beers which have been a thing in other ball parks.

The team lost. Our first minor league team game. What a great way to keep the croad going with the cheerleader and game type people. We were very happy here. Except for the extreme humidity, we had fun. We figured out a way to cool off. Frozen lemonade. We love the Dodgers. Both having recently moved from California and watching Major league Dodgers, we loved being here. The park was amazing. Bathrooms nice, a variety of food, the people were helpful and everything was clean. We will for sure come back when we get the chance.

Wonderful park and the party pavilion looked like a great value! I am used to going to Royals games in KC...overall I like this stadium. The seat location I had was a great view of the field in the SHADE ... It was a great temperature night in my perspective..The staff throughout the park- Nice & knowledgeable and a strong security presence, I felt safe inside the stadium I saw thorough bag checks... So leave your pocket knives and your pepper spray in the car. It's open air so obviously it can be incredibly sunny (day game) and a little toasty (and only hotter from April on) What do you expect in Oklahoma!!!? Sunscreen, ball cap, sunglasses, even an umbrella depending on where you're sitting are all a good idea, especially if you get warm easily. The food is great and several options to choose from. The beer was super cold and fairly priced in my opinion. {7.25 for 24 oz draw}I did see one ATM behind home plate.Bathrooms were very accessible and were clean.I really had a spectacular time. 10/10 would go againRespectfully,BryanMoore Oklahoma
