Chen's Buffet

They are not what they used to be. Selection is way less than pre-Covid days. Price is higher, food is often dried out or not hot. If they weren't so close to the house I wouldn't go there. I often leave disappointed saying I won't return.

Well, maybe I'm spoiled when it comes to Asian food, but I was unhappy with this restaurant. Their service was spot on and they changed out empty items quickly. The hot and sour soup was very good. Sushi was okay. The rest of the items were "eh". The peel and eat shrimp could not be peeled and still had the "vein" (poop shoot) still inside. And the sushi was okay. Lots of imitation crab, though. The fried rice and lo mean were just wrong. No flavor. Very bland. The beef and broccoli was bland. The crab rangoon didn't seem to have any pineapple or green onion in the cream cheese. The service was great, the atmosphere good. The food, although plenty of it, was really, really lacking.The two stars was for the service and atmosphere. Food would be a 1 or 0.

Great spot for an all you can eat Chinese buffet with Mongolian bbq and sushi. We've made it a ritual when in town to come on Sundays for family lunch day. The food is pretty good, decent amount of options, large desert & ice cream area with a huge sushi bar with Mongolian barbecue. Never had an issue with flavor or price. Highly recommend for a cheaper Chinese buffet!

If you just want all you can eat Chinese food, then Chen's may be a good option. I actually think their food is pretty good and they have all the traditional options. I really like their sautéed mushrooms and soups. Unfortunately, Chen's buffet does not have anything else on top of the traditional Chinese buffet options that a few other buffets in the area offer (i.e. Vietnamese, Italian, Hispanic). Because of this, it tends to be lesser well known.

Food wasn't that good. Went in on Easter Sunday. Buffet kept running out of food. Staff working the front were nice and so was the wait staff

Food here is terrible. The chicken for sweet n sour chicken was old, stale, and disgusting. one piece had a very off taste so I spit it out. The fried noodles for the egg drop soup had been out so long you could break a tooth on it. It's like up until the minute it's time to serve the dinner crowd they leave all the lunch food still out. NEVER ago at an off time. And they chg way too much for the quality of food. The lady that owns the place doesn't care as I've mentioned these things before. All she's worried about is sitting at one of the booths eating in front of customers. And there's always a table near the entrance thats junked up with their personal food and crap. Don't eat here.

The Buffett isn't the best I heard this place was good, but coming in with my family. I will not do it again. We arrived at 6:00pm and there was no hot food on the buttet, and the sushi is as small as a penny! Plus it was $100 for HORRIBLE FOOD!

The food was mostly ok, there were a few items that were actually good such as the general chicken and the crab Rangoon and a few that were terrible like the eggs rolls and the grilled chicken that was burned. The service was non existent, I was brought my drink as I was getting up to leave the staff seemed confused that I no longer wanted it after sitting there over half an hour. The lady at the cash register was rude. I will traveling back to this area on business some but I will not eating here again.

I went there today very hungry. The food was so disgusting I served myself a plate and could not eat anything off of it, so I tried another plate with different items and everything was terribly disgusting. I never write reviews and I am far from being a picky eater but damn that was horrible and I felt the need to put it out there. Save yourself from a bad experience

I got a real bad experience from this buffet, they insulted me from I worn a poor and dirty shirt, they thought I can not afford it, only told me the price, I noticed, they did not tell any people after me, the manager had a bad attitude when I called back.won't be back anyway0 star
