The tacos are great. It's so nice to have one of these trucks around here. A few other things were a hit or miss.I wish there were more salsas out to bring home with me.

Do you ever wanna escape, just a little, for a moment in time..? (#corona2020). In the smallest, and dare I say, most exciting of ways we can take adventures through food. Through food we get glimpses of life outside of what we know to be today's ho-hum routine, if we let it.The Taco Loco Food Truck is parked in a shady gas station parking lot I've driven by a thousand times (and I still can't tell you the name of that gas station). Location: the corner of Boulevard & 15th in Edmond. Here one night, while eating the macho burrito with carnitas, I had one of these winsome escapes. There's these pickled things--a punch of color on the styrofoam plate-- that shine a spotlight on the meat and all its friends in the burrito in a spectacular way. The carnitas was so tender and juicy. (I've also had it filled with asada--same deal--great protein). The hot, fresh and chewy tortilla was the size of my face. These little salsas you have to ask for, otherwise you won't get them, spike the spice experience up a couple of notches--and it's the best kind of deliciousness. I'm also a big fan of their enchiladas, rice and beans.Pass the torch to Taco Loco Food Truck as one of the best Mexican food trucks in Edmond. May the torch shine bright as a beacon of light in an otherwise overlooked gas station corner at 15th and Boulevard. Order take-out. Find your escape. April 2020

We've driven by this taco truck so many times because it's right around the corner to where our favorite poke place is, and ohmygod. I will never forgive myself for not coming here earlier. Because the food here...was absolute heaven. We had five different tacos - asada, pastor, pollo, carnitas, and barbacoa. My two favorites were the pastor, and the barbacoa. But they were all just little pieces of taco heaven. I'll admit, the asada was a little chewy but the flavor it came with made up for the slight chewy texture. Everything else was cooked just wonderfully. Be sure to ask for the salsa if you're ordering tacos. The salsa roja (red one) has a little kick to it, so if you're a little afraid of spicy food, get the salsa verde (the green one). However you like it, be sure to ask for it! They don't put it in the bag by default, but I think the tacos would've been incomplete without it. I dressed mine with both of them, and that did it for me. That was the PERFECT combination. Boyfriend got the enchiladas, and I'm pretty sure he almost regretted not getting a second plate despite being crazy full after this one plate. I had a little bite, and oh man. How!?! So so good. Y'all, if you're ever around this corner, and you see this little taco truck - stop by, and just try it out for yourself. The prices were so reasonable we almost fell into the trap of buying more than we could eat. But all in all - we will definitely, definitely, be coming back. PS: It's cash only! So bring the $$$!

Delicious food, best thing we tried were the asada fries. We were most excited about the 5 for $10 tacos, but they felt a little plain compared to others. The burrito was bland. We'll go back for asada fries!

I wasn't incredibly impressed with this place. The carnitas didn't have much flavor at all, but the pastor was decent.

This my go to spot in Edmond when I want five tacos for 10 bucks. Nothing fancy about this truck at all! Just good old fashioned Mexican food at a great price. I definitely recommend this spot.

Very good street tacos and more, all authentic Mexican food. This truck is owned by the same folks cooking on 39th in OKC, with similar flavors and quality. Same 4" corn tortillas..not as flaky and soft as they could be but not bad. Lighter on cilantro and onion toppings than I usually prefer. But same killer salsa verde!! (be sure to ask for extra on the side). With plenty of grilled onions and escabeche (pickled carrots) on the side, which I liked.Keep in mind, I'm very nipicky when it comes tacos and authentic Mexican in general. They recommended I try their carnitas. Overall it was pretty good. Flavor was great, bites on each end moist and tender, but it clumped in the middle and became harder to chew. Al pastor had the best flavor, spicy, not sweet (no pineapple). But their marinated pork had a grainy texture I didn't care for (bad batch?). Asada was good, seasoned right, but not too tender, here it's chopped fine then cooked well done. Chicken had a light spicy marinade, pretty good but no chicken flavor remained. Not quite as rich as pollo on 39th for some reason. Service was helpful, communication easy. Most tacos are priced at $1.25, tripas $1.50.Parking is very tight in this shared gas station parking lot here so be aware. They have two picnic tables sat over next to some industrial looking pumps. While not perfect my meal was still very good. I will definitely return to try more.

This is actually the worst burrito I've ever had. One bite, threw it away, then went to Chicos (half a mile away) and had a far better experience

Five tacos, and a burrito to find out the tacos were almost all fat and were very light in terms of asada. The burrito had lettuce in it who puts lettuce in a burrito. Lettuce in a burger all day bot my burrito. I love hot sauce nothing with any kick to it at this place.
