Central Park Dog Day Care

Have been taking my dog here for almost 10 years. The staff is wonderful and takes great care of my sweet dog. They do a great job grooming and my dog has a great time playing there. They keep a great eye on dogs and their behavior; if one dog is being aggressive towards others, they put them in time out. Which is quite comical but us dog owners appreciate them looking out for our beloved puppies. Will never take any dog I own to a different daycare/groomer! Central Park is the best around.

Absolutely amazing! I have a 2 year old corgi and we took him so he would get the chance to be socialized and it has been amazing for him! He gets so excited when we pull in the parking lot! They even went above and beyond with our most recent addition, a 5 month old husky. It is his first day and they are amazing to him! Taking my dogs here is the highlight of their week and I am so glad that we are a part of Central Park's pack! Also. They do an amazing job grooming my corgi. My corgi sheds like no other and they really help reduce the shedding! Today is my husky's first grooming so I'm not sure about him but I'm sure it will be Update: still live then! Still amazing. We had to rehome our husky for multiple reasons but his new owners bring him here and he still loves it! I didn't bring my corgi for a few months due to a few different things and when I brought him back 3 months later, they still remembered me and him. He was so excited and came home worn out and happy. Seriously, not enough great things to say about this place

My Schnauzer loves his spa day at Central Park and Holly does a great job on giving him a handsome groom!!!

This place has a lot of fake reviews. Everyone I know who has brought their dog here has had their dog come back hurt and with bruises. On top of that if you're late for pickup they hold them overnight and will not return them to you.

DO NOT GO! Not only did my dog contract Kennel Cough from here. My husband got bit by an unruly dog and they did nothing about it. This dog was a large dog and broke the skin on my husband bicep through his thick winter coat. The staff did nothing about it, they said "oh that dog hates men" and brushed us off. The are unprofessional, and the kennel area in the back is filthy. I've been to almost all of the dog daycares in Okc and this one is the worst. And they charge you more than daycare cost normally on your first day, which is unheard of since most of the time it's free your first day.

Outstanding service and care not to mention top notch grooming. My dog would be pissed if I took him anywhere else! They love him like their very own! Thanks Central Park Dog Day Care for all the wonderful care and love you give Shadow.....Jeff

I can't believe they don't have a 5 star rating on here, and it kind of upsets me. This place is literally the best daycare I could've come across in the entire state of Oklahoma. I brought my dog, Cooper, here consistently for about a year. They treated him like royalty, and he absolutely loved the entire staff.They did a behavior assessment before he was even permitted for daycare. They were so flexible with feeding schedules in addition to boarding/daycare days. Central Park is a lifesaver. I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my little Coop with anyone else. Also they have the super convenient camera system to watch your pup! Of course they wouldn't want you to go back and tour the facility. Think about how many people would be walking around back there exciting or annoying the dogs. It would probably also mean that they would have to confine dogs to their areas before a tour is ever done. It would be incredibly inconvenient for the staff and general facility.Thank you Central Park for being the best babysitters this working girl could find.

I see the bad reviews from the other users and I'm sorry that they had bad experiences there. That said, that's not the experience that my dog, Trooper, and I have had at the Classen location. We've never been to the May location. Trooper goes regularly and he loves it. He did get kennel cough once, but I figure that's probably inevitable, particularly since the vaccine is only partially effective, and they had posted signs warning that it was possible. The even called my Mother to tell her because her dog was scheduled to board overnight and they wanted to give her the opportunity to cancel if she wanted.The staff all knows Trooper and happily greet him when we walk in - which is nice because Trooper always appreciates the opportunity to make a big entrance. He's kind of a ham. When we pull onto Classen, he knows exactly where we are going and starts excitedly wagging and excitedly pacing back and forth in the back seat. Best of all, he's completely exhausted when I pick him up at the end of the day, which I love. They also give me updates about how he did all day once I come to pick him up.My Mother has been taking her dog there for years. He also boards there overnight when she is out of town. The staff all know her dog and treat him like their own. Her dog loves going to daycare and somehow seems to know when it's his day of the week to go. My Mom's dog did have some problems with his foot when he first went and the staff at Central Park actually helped us figure out what the problem was - raw paw - from the pea gravel, and they helped him get used to the hard playing surface by bringing him in for breaks when he first started going so his little feet could ease into the rough surface.I understand that when you have large groups of dogs playing together, incidents may happen and doggies could get hurt. Although they're family, they're still animals too so fights and scuffles can happen. So far, we have been fortunate, but the staff has treated us as such, thus far, that were something to happen, I trust them to take care of Trooper.

I've been taking our GSD 3-4 days a week for almost a year. Started when he was 4 months old. He loves it. We love it. I watch the webcam frequently. Such a joy to watch him socialize with his buddies. The staff is wonderful. I would and do recommend them.Greg&Tiffany P.
