I called and Kate picked up. She was able to make a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my moms birthday within my price range. She even was able to add seasonal flowers like the white ranunculus and artichoke. Kate made sure to make it pretty, it was very much appreciated.

My father in law passed away and I had good luck in the past with Capitol Hill Florist so told the family we should allow them to do the family flowers for the casket and two large flower wreaths one from the children and one from the grandchildren. We specifically asked for the wreaths to have sashes one in blue one in white and our receipt confirmed that was the order. Well we received a red white and blue sash and the white wreath was made with all white carnations except where they ran OUT and finished it with Daisy's which was very obvious I know that seems a little petty but when a family has suffered a loss the little details do matter. Mistakes happen so we called and asked for it to be fixed and instead of a sorry we got major attitude and it was obvious that we were a "bother". The family spent over $1000 on the flowers and would have appreciated a more compassionate response.

WOW...this place truly offers GREAT customer service. I ordered an arrangement for my sister's birthday at the last minute to an outside area of the city...I did not specify any particular flowers or colors (which was a mistake on my part) just specified price and they delivered a very traditional arrangement. When my sister sent me a picture of them, I was disappointed and felt they weren't up to a professionals arrangement. I wrote an unhappy review here on Yelp and was contacted by Patty who was kind and helpful and made things right. They are a stand up company who TRULY care about their customers. Patty is a great asset to Capitol Hill Florist and I appreciate her taking the time to rectify this concern. Please use this florist for your future arrangements.
