Campfire Pizza & Gelato

The food was awesome and the ranch seemed to be home made. It's a very cozy little restaurant with a nice little patio that I look forward to using when it cools off a bit. The one worker was extremely friendly and went above and beyond. I plan on coming back again in the near future.

Tried this place for the first time last night! It was excellent. Only one gentleman running the show but he did a great job and was extremely friendly and kind! I had the 4 Formaggi and added pepperoni and hot honey and wow! Delicious! The gelato was good too but the pizza was the front runner for me! My friends enjoyed everything too. Will definitely go back when in the area.

One of our pizzas was burned absolutely black around 2/3 of the crust. The other was undercooked in the middle. Not sure we'll try again.

I'd passed by here several times and finally decided to try it because they had a really good valentine's day special but I was not impressed. It took a very long time to get my pizza even though there were only 2 other people there. When I did finally get my pizza it was greasy and falling apart and missing several of the ingredients that it was supposed to have. The person that took our order was very kind and patient while we sampled Gelato. The Gelato flavors we yummy but had a freezer burn taste to them.

I hope to be able to come back one day and change this to a five star review because we love the workers here and the convenience to where we live. While their pizza has good flavor, the dough/crust cannot support the toppings. It simply falls apart as you try to eat it. I usually have to fold the center over onto the crust so it doesn't completely fall apart. If they can resolve this issue, the pizza would be fantastic! There are three large booths, barstool seating along the front window, and an outdoor seating area. Don't expect to have restaurant style dining here. This is a "mom and pop", start up pizza shop. You order at the counter, get your drink from the soda fountain, and eat off paper plates. However I appreciate the simplicity of it all.

I think this pizza place has so much more potential. Upon looking at the pictures online, I had very high expectations for this place. Unfortunately my guess is that those wonderful pictures are from the previous owner. For one, their pizza sauce tasted like it came from a can. It just didn't taste good, very plain. Pizza sauce is so easy to make and this pizza would taste so much better with homemade pizza sauce. The pizza crust is good, very tasty. They don't hand stretch it, it's done by a machine. I didn't like that too much. I wouldn't consider this pizza napoletana, more like a thin crust pizza. The part I didn't understand is how the vegetables I added to my pizza weren't cooked. I ordered mushrooms and artichokes and they were not cooked, which is super strange since they are going in a super hot oven, usually over 800 degrees. Wasn't sure how that happened unless they aren't properly using the oven and it's not as hot as it should be. What was also super weird, the menu states that they make fresh mozzarella. This is not the case, I asked one of the workers and they flat out told me no, that they were under new management and they were no longer doing that. He said the menus were outdated. We also got the gelato, it was ok. The place is cute inside and the guys working there are friendly.

I didn't get to try their gelato which made me sad. Their appetizer was good I had some of their wings and the sauce was enticing. I liked their pizza, I had a buffalo chicken one, but it's not as hot as I expected. I wish it there was a little more chicken for the price. The people were nice.

So tasty! I can't wait to go back! There's just something festive about sitting down and splitting a pizza with your favorite people and then enjoying some fresh gelato to close out the meal! We ordered the Pepperoni Extravaganza for our pizza. If you love the Mikes Hot Honey order extra! For our delicious Gelato I had the dulce de leche and my husband had the campfire s'mores! Both were fantastic, but I do believe I will be ordering the campfire s'mores next time! It was my favorite!If you haven't taken time to try out this new pizza spot make your way over today! I used to love Campfire pizza but since management has changed, it just isn't the same. The first time I went since management has changed, I ordered a pizza online and it said it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I got there after 20 minutes there was one worker and they let us know it would be another 45 minutes. I got my order refunded which was fine, people call out of work and you could tell the worker was overwhelmed. Today I ordered it, online it said 15 minutes, I called to double check and they said 15-20 minutes. Got there at 20 minutes and they said it would be another 15-20 minutes. So we got our pizza a little late, no big deal. The pizza itself just isn't the same. The sauce tastes like a Domino's or Pizza Hut sauce. Nothing special about this pizza.

Alex Santoro made my pizza like a good boy. He is my favorite employee! 10/10 would eat again.
