Cactus Creek

Sadly, our stay at Cactus creek was very frustrating. We have stayed at this location 3 times since 2012 with great memories. We found out after our stay and very poor service that this rental has been sold in May 2024 and now has a new owner. Not only did she get our rental dates wrong and cause some of our guests to have to pay for a hotel the first night of our scheduled stay, she also said we were wrong. She later agreed that our invoice should have included that first night but never offered an apology. We ended up staying the 3 nights we paid for but not without difficulty. Two guests had to sleep on couches our third night due to one room not being available. We should have received a refund for that room for 1 night but after attempting for 2 1/2 months, she has refused. Not only that, but after arriving, we had to find our towels in the dryer and fold them ourselves, found dishes in the sink that we had to put away, had to clean the stove in the kitchen, had to request toilet paper and our bed did not have appropriate sheets. The bed only had a mattress pad, flat sheet, and comforter. There was never any apology for any of her wrong doing. I do hope her service has improved but I do not recommend staying here. There are newer better locations to stay in Medicine Park, OK.
