"Fun place that brings some unique ideas to Mexican food that adds some fun flair. It is right in the heart of downtown OKC, and super close to a lot of other fun areas. We went to a Christmas market with my sister, brother in law, and husband right before, and it was right next door. Parking can be difficult but it's worth it!We started out with the chips and salsa. The salsa was a perfect combination of both smoky and fresh tasting. I'm normally more into the lime-y, cilantro-y salsa, but it was a perfect amount of smokiness. The chips! The chips. Amazing! They were thick and had so much flavor even on their own! We also got a sangria and the house margarita to start, which were very reasonably priced and flavorful. For our meal, my sister got the enchiladas, and I got the hot chicken sopes and my husband got the roasted chicken soup with masa dumplings. They were all great! The soup was very fresh tasting and reasonably priced. The enchiladas were flavorful and had a great sauce, but were very small. It was just enough food for my sister with the Chips and salsa, but they are about the size of a Taquito. The green sauce on them is delicious! My favorite was the hot chicken sopes. They were sooooo creative and had an AMAZING flavor. The sopes themselves were thick and had a wonderful texture to them, and the hot chicken was just spicy enough without being too greasy. They were absolutely delicious! Loved them so much. Our server was nice as well, and attentive. Great little place!"
"Love love love Hidalgo's! The service is fast, friendly, and attentive. Small or large groups, you'll get the best service! The food is very tasty! I appreciate all the complimentary salsas, queso's, relishes, chips, and tortillas. I love their queso's the best! I ordered the salad and it was so so good! I would order this again and change the combinations of toppings to try different things. If you're a soda lover this is your place, the cups are LARGE- I was in Dr Pepper heaven! The decor has a fun, modern vibe w/ bright colors, neon word displays. After a certain hour, they dim the lights a bit to not be so bright when the suns going down. I like that attention to detail!"
"Great selection and service! I never had fried pie before but I love it! Fry anything and it will taste good for some reason haha! Ambiance inside is like a typical mom and pop donut shop, and the people in front are sweet and welcoming! Also they have a drive thru if you are in a hurry. Definitely will be coming back often!"
"The service here is fantastic but the food just didn't impress me which was disappointing bc others in my family speak so highly of it. Maybe nostalgia for them. The ambiance comes off as a legit authentic Mexican restaurant but the menu is all tex-mex. You can, if you know, order authentic Mexican items and they'll gladly prepare them for you. The prices are quite high for what you receive quality wise. The portions are large but the food is really nothing special. I've been told that it's changed since 2017 and use to be better especially before Covid."
"Was pleasantly surprised. Food was good. Great salsa and queso came with food which it should. Asked for spicy salsa and it was good as well. Tortillas good and seemed homemade with relish. Got the tamale and cheese enchilada plate. Was very tasty. Wife got the chicken taco salad and said it was good. Would recommend for area and is best Mexican restaurant so far I have tried in mustang. Would come back."
"Los Arcos is truly a hidden gem. I have only been here once but had a great experience. I love their set up. Their salsa and spicy salsas are delicious! It's a fun Tex-Mex place that I think is great for family, friends, and big gatherings. They are a big and spacious place. They have so many workers and they're nice! I would recommend asking for the spicy salsa. Would love to come back and try more of their different delicious entrees. Will definitely try the other location next time. They have two locations in Edmond!"
"This place is really close to our house.1st time here after seeing reviews from Yelp friends. Such a friendly environment server was so nice. Food was so delicious and fresh, we got street tacos and wow the pork and chicken street tacos were amazing , the girls split a kids chicken quesadilla it was delicious.Because I didn't order anything as we all split.. got banged for a setup fee. We got delicious cheese dip with our salsa will definitely be back!Respectfully,BryanYukon, Oklahoma"

Barrios is the spot. I come here at least once a week for happy hour, and honestly, I don't see that changing anytime soon. The vibe is always great; the service and food are solid. First off, their Frozen Avocado Drink is something special. It's not what you'd expect; it's super smooth, icy, and refreshing with a bright lime flavor. It doesn't taste like avocado; it's just creamy and light in the best way possible. As for the food, I've eaten my way through the menu, and I have some clear favorites:-Beef Skirt Adobo Fajitas - Packed with flavor, perfectly cooked.-Lamb Barbacoa & Pork Cheek Tacos - Juicy, tender, and worth it.-Braised Beef Short Rib Enchiladas & Short Rib Tinga Chalupa - If you love short rib, do yourself a favor and order these.- Steak Quesadilla - Simple but done so right. It's cheesy and crispy, and I always end up with leftovers for the next day, which is a win.-Lawson Taco Salad - Surprisingly filling and super fresh. (You can also add on different meats for an additional $)And let's talk about dessert, their Grilled Pineapple Tres Leches. Hands down, the best tres leches I've ever had. The grilled pineapple adds this caramelized sweetness that takes it to another level. It's rich, moist, and the perfect way to end the meal. But honestly, the biggest reason I keep coming back? The homemade chips and salsa. They serve warm, crispy chips with a smoky salsa that I could drink straight from the bowl. It's that good. I'd probably still come here just for the chips and salsa alone.

On our drive through Oklahoma we looked up what Oklahoma was known for in regards to food, and fried pies came up. I'd never heard of them (unless this is similar to a hot pocket), so we veered off course to try them.Amazing! I had a spinach and mushroom which was almost like a pot pie in a flaky pastry blanket. So delicious!!My only suggestion would be to take it to go as the dining area is very small and not as comfy as I would like. The space is obviously older and crowded, but the food is yummy!

Really enjoyed this restaurant. The service and food were exceptional. We sat on the patio that had nice plants and cool tables. I can't wait to go back and try more! Highly recommend the torta sandwiches and the chimichangas. Very cool that they do both queso and salsa with the chips as an appetizer.

Pretty darn good! Thursday evening and it's packed with locals. Lots of help servicing the customers. Our group had enchiladas, fajitas, and tamales with creamed corn, refried beans, and Mexican salad as sides. Not a complaint in the bunch. We added a couple margaritas. Both were excellent, and they didn't skimp on the booze!

La Herradura Mexican grand opening. We were seated and serve complementary chips, salsa, and white queso. My hubby ordered the burrito, ground beef, lunch, special and chose green sauce to top the burrito. I ordered a Chile Relleno lunch. I wanted shredded beef Relleno, but they only serve ground beef, shredded chicken or cheese. The ground beef with chili sauce, the ground beef was mildly seasoned equal to what you would have in a taco. The chili sauce was nicely seasoned. The Mexican rice and refried beans were tasty. The ambiance was very sterile. The walls painted white with Western theme pictures. It did not have the festive Mexican restaurant atmosphere. Service was fast and friendly.

Another wonderful meal at the bar of Chelino's in Norman. The food came so fast that I didn't have time to check in first. This time I got the Quesabirria Tacos and a Chelino's Mexican Candy. They were both delicious. The tacos were hot and fresh. I thoroughly enjoy our dinners here. All the servers are wonderful to us, especially our usual bartender. Thank you for another great experience. Love the backdrop of the bar for photos.

"You know not all of the Chelinos are created equal? Just like with every other family of restaurants, there's always some that are better than others, this location on Main is indeed legit!! #40 Guiso , (with all steak please,),,is my go-to at most locations, and ALWAYS with a side of mama beans (if your an ole school chelino fan like me otherwise its called chino beans!! If you dig jalapeños and onions , try this bean variation, ,,when done right, it will satisfy your soul ,,lol ...eat all this and say hello to a food coma !"
"New to the area and this taco shop was recommended by a friend and Fuzzy's did not disappoint! I love a lighter fresh Baja style taco vs a heavier meat/cheese/beans version. We got the taco plate (two tacos & two sides), two kids nacho plates (generous portion of nachos, side and dessert) as well as two carnitas flour shelled tacos. My only recommendation would be they switch out the shredded lettuce for cabbage. Who knows - maybe that is an option. Next time I'll be sure to ask. Cilantro rice was good, fuzzy rice seemed like a Spanish style red rice (I'm not a rice connoisseur lol), black beans were basic. Sauces on the table were flavorful- original was tangy w a hint of sweet, habenero had a kick but very manageable Service was fast and friendly. They have an app for take out orders as well as the ability to earn points with each purchase. You can bet our family will be back!"
"Let's be honest, no one expects a five-star experience here. However, let's talk about the good, the bad and the grumbly. I have to say this place was spotless and the adorable color-scheme right out of the 70s. Everyone was extremely courteous and the food came out in like two seconds. I ordered the Chilada. It was huge and also reminded me of a meal from the past with its flavor profile. It was okay, a bit salty and smothered in a can of enchilada sauce. I was a first timer so this was better than expected, but I can't say would be my first choice for this type of food. I think this team is doing everything right, but maybe Taco Casa could up their recipe game just a little."
"We had a very-small, impromtu family reunion here. We originally thought we'd have six people, but wound up with seven, and they acccomodated us easily and quickly. The menu had a lot of options and was easy to read. Although they have a weekday lunch section, they allow you to order from it for dinner and on the weekends, too, but they add $2 per order. We each ordered something different, and the staff and kitchen managed our orders well. They kept water, tea and soda glasses full without being asked. My chicken enchilada were great, and everyone enjoyed their food. I was visiting from NC, but my cousins and aunt are all local and come here quite often."
"It's Friday and my husband and I have a long standing tradition of eating Mexican food on Fridays. We recently moved to this area, so let's try a new place. Staff are very friendly and service is quick. Ambiance of the diner-sort with pictures of cacti and clay pots on the walls. Spanish language songs on the overhead speaker and American football on the TV. Now for the food. Well, the tortilla chips were thicker and a tad bland for our taste. The cheese dip, well, bland, and the salsa, unforgiveably bland. The cheese and onion enchilada with chili con carne sauce was very good, The falutas were "good!"but with the unexpected addition of cheese, my husband pronounced them as "different." Rice and beans were fine. We did not try drinks or dessert. We also got a to-go order for a family member. She ordered a crispy beef taco, and the restaurant packed the beef separately from the taco shell so the latter didn't get soggy - nice touch!"
"Everything here was fantastic. They brought out 6 different Salas. They were all really good. Tostada, tacos, enchiladas, Chimi's Here for graduation. So glad we found this spot! Definitely Recommended!!!"
"I walked in today to order a Taco salad. Was there more than one kind? Mine was $8.45 when my daughter said 5. They called it "Supreme salad". I also ordered queso, no chips. Now, this was my own fault. She said she wanted a small, I said 8 Oz was fine. (Oops! The biggest one, at $3.70.) I threw ii an unsweetened tea to surprise her, but, she can't have caffeine. (Again, my fault, so I drank it.) But, I digress. It's been awhile since I was there. I love their chalkboard menu board. I took a pic. I need to study it. I'm curious about the Taco salad. Not complaining, because my daughter practically inhaled it when I took it to her, but I need to learn the prices these days. Good thing I had a $20, not a $10! These guys were killing it! They moved like well-oiled machine, knew what went to who among the chaotic craziness. The dining room was packed, meals going out efficiently and in a timely manner. Though a bit dark in the seating area, you could tell they were packed. I'll be back soon! Keep up the good work!"
"Dinner was pretty great. The complimentary chips and salsa were quite tasty. The place was somewhat busy when my friend and I came, but the food came out fast. I had the carnitas enchiladas with red sauce, and surprisingly it was very flavorful. The shredded pork was tender, and the red enchilada sauce tasted like it was made in-house. Initially, I was going to get their pineapple juice, but after asking if it was fresh or not, the server said it wasn't, so I appreciate the honesty. I had a cocktail called "xotic" mojito, and surprisingly, it was so refreshing, fruity, and well-crafted. Since the service, in the beginning, was rushed, I expected our server would want us to leave right away once we were done with our dinner so they can get ready for the next customers. Still, we stayed and chatted a little bit. Our server wasn't bothered by it and didn't have an attitude refilling my friend's drink. Due to the low ratings, I didn't expect much, so the food and cocktail exceeded my expectations."
"Excellent place for drinks & dinner. We are from California (dropping our nephew off to college). This restaurant was just down the street from the school. The food is excellent, the service is friendly. If I did not live a 24 hour drive away I would return again & again ~"
