"Friendly service! We love the great salsa, guacamole & margaritas! Mexican fried potatoes aren't on the menu yet but you can request them and they're very good!"
"Tried this place out tonight, it was great! Got a fajita chicken quesadilla with veggies, it was HUGE and great flavor! Also had the nashville hot tacos. Again, amazing flavor and they aren't lying when they say HOT! Meals come with chips, salsa, and queso. Chips were a little greasy for my liking, but likely meaning they are fresh. Service was good, and very clean restaurant. Ambiance is fun and lively, great patio! Will be back."
"We had more food than we could eat! The chips are made there and were amazing. I love salsa that isn't just juice, but chunks of goodness - theirs did not disappoint. The drinks were good, too. Our server was attentive and sweet. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful."
"Prompt friendly service, clean environment, good food. We finally found a good restaurant since moving to Oklahoma from San Diego. The Margaritas are very tasty! The staff is very attentive and friendly. I usually get the beef fajitas. I would skip the burritos, though, they're very plain and nothing to write home about. Hot salsa is available if what you get with the chips isn't spicy enough. The prices are VERY reasonable, and we go there as often as we can."
"NOW OPEN IN NEW DIGS!the Same level of service and food quality that has made this a local favorite, has been retained; now it has been transferred into a beautiful new building. Not a LOT of Mexican kitsch adorns the bright yellow walls, nor ceiling. There is a sufficient waitstaff to handle the crowds. The food, is quite easily compared to their old location...it is the same high quality, and speed. The menu is more colorful, and glossy, but a bit more difficult to read. Prices have not sky-rocketed with the new location.Fast and friendly waitstaff, clean restrooms, on the loud side, but nothing a nicely placed Mexican blanket or two couldn't take care of."
"Dinner was pretty great. The complimentary chips and salsa were quite tasty. The place was somewhat busy when my friend and I came, but the food came out fast. I had the carnitas enchiladas with red sauce, and surprisingly it was very flavorful. The shredded pork was tender, and the red enchilada sauce tasted like it was made in-house. Initially, I was going to get their pineapple juice, but after asking if it was fresh or not, the server said it wasn't, so I appreciate the honesty. I had a cocktail called "xotic" mojito, and surprisingly, it was so refreshing, fruity, and well-crafted. Since the service, in the beginning, was rushed, I expected our server would want us to leave right away once we were done with our dinner so they can get ready for the next customers. Still, we stayed and chatted a little bit. Our server wasn't bothered by it and didn't have an attitude refilling my friend's drink. Due to the low ratings, I didn't expect much, so the food and cocktail exceeded my expectations."
"A good experience today, but perhaps not as great as usual. We had a bit of a wait to be greeted as we came in at an odd time of day (2pm). The set up was outstanding as usual with the best salsa and tortillas around. The entrees just seemed to lack a little something today, but overall we enjoyed ourselves, and we will be back."
"This is one of those places that if you didn't know how good it was you may never eat here. This fast food Mexican takeout has been around for a looooong time. It is a cash only establishment. I come here for the burritos. My favorite is the all meat but the combo and bean are good too. I've never had their tacos. It'll cost you about $6 a burrito after taxes but they are HUGE! Everything I've ever gotten from there has always been great and if you can't eat all of it in one sitting it warms up great in the microwave. Overall grade "A". I live in Choctaw so I don't get out there as much as I would like. But if you get a hankering for a top notch burrito try this place out. I'll be back soon."
"It may be a Tex-Mex place, true. And it may be in Kingfisher. (That's a given.)But the chile relleno served here?Downright fantastic!Perfect, light breading -- not sodden and nasty like so many.Terrific pepper flavor, too -- earthy, smoky, and just slightly piquant.Friendly, energetic table service.I wish this place were in Oklahoma City.Damn."
"The food was very good. It's been a while since we last visited this place and it was great. The salsa was very good and fresh. The services was fantastic very attentive and the atmosphere was relaxing and fast paced. We will be back!"
"If you are ever in Snyder, Ok. you have to stop and eat at Hoppin Jalapeño Restaurant. It's such a nice Mexican restaurant in this small town. We started Chili con Queso with Chorizo which was great and I'm very picky about my queso. For our entrées I had Beef Chili Rojo, mom had enchiladas, and dad had a create you own combo with a tamale, enchilada, and chili relleno it was all excellent!!! To top it off we shared a fried ice cream so good."
"The chicken fajitas at lunch were amazing. Get it with all the trimmings (grilled onions w/ sliced and grilled jalapeños and lime wedges. Also, ask for the habanero salsa to mix with the regular tomato salsa and it's delightful.Service was attentive but not overbearing. Restaurant is spotless . No waiting and prep time on the food was basically magically fast. 10/10 would eat here again."

We really love this place. The indoor and outdoor seating creates a great vibe! The service is usually pretty good and we love the food and drinks there. We have tried several things and have liked all of them so far.

Is it a cartel or a syndicate? Yep, they operate in a failed American cuisine restaurant building, in the small town of Gore OK. Unlike many small town OkieMex restaurants though, El Largo is a clean, noticeably well-maintained building, with excellent air conditioning. It is roomy and nicely decorated, (for Halloween today). The food is very good and priced to provide a good value in today's economy. The service is fast and friendly. They have a bar.So, here is their deal. The combo menu has just about any Mexican food item you can think of, in as many combinations, that you can come up with. The best part of the deal is, a single meal is priced at $9.79. If you order two combo meals the total price for the two is $15.99. You save enough to make a good down payment on a big bowl of queso. That is what we did. El Lago seems to be very generous with the queso. If you order it on your food instead of red sauce you will be happy! My wife had a beef enchilada, beef burrito and a relleno. I had a beef taco, a beef enchilada, and a relleno. Check the pictures, you can see that the restaurant was not stingy with the queso. All items were packed with beef! The taco, enchilada, and burrito were average. The rellenos had a very thin, fried, light batter coating over a very fresh poblano. filled with cheese. I liked it because it wasn't a big pile of fried greasy breading. The salsa served with the chips were very good. Nice flavors and nice heat in the picante salsa. Excellent mixed with the queso or applied liberally on the food. This was an enjoyable meal.Take note; prices shown in the Yelp menu pictures are outdated, as are the prices on the restaurant's website. I only captured the combo menu which is current as of this review. I recommend the combo menu. For 31 bucks plus a tip, we had great service, two tasty meals, two soft drinks and queso.Being curious, I talked with "El jefe" on duty. I am seeing a pattern that many, many of the small-town Oklahoma based Mexican restaurants are actually chains. Sure enough! The cartel or syndicate of owners, operate El Largo, and restaurants in Warner, Ft. Gibson, and Checotah; all with different names. I have a conspiracy theory to go along with this, but since this website is not secure, I can't discuss it at this time. Enjoy the food!

My husband and I had Carne Asada with rice and beans. It was a thin T-bone steak, which isn't typical for Carne Asada, but it was delicious. We each added grilled onions. It was great. Restrooms were clean and the staff was polite and friendly. Salsa was good. Flour tortillas and chips were average. The queso is my only issue with this place. There are two options, white or yellow. We opted for yellow because it's not spicy and I didn't want to get something too spicy for my kiddo. It tasted like off brand cheese sauce from a jar or can. It was pretty terrible, but got a little better as we added salt, pepper, and salsa. My son had the kids cheese quesadilla and we added chicken. He said it was delicious and he tore it up pretty quickly. We'd definitely visit again.

Drive by and saw this place and decided to go in for a look . The atmosphere was AMAZING. They had a show going on and I loved the entertainment. Our waitress was a little distracted but the head waitress was super friendly with our service so we weren't ignored. Music was loud but I loved it . We missed the food but they offered chips and salsa. Would definitely come back !!!!!

Delicious! As a Texas native, I am a huge fan of Tex-Mex, it didn't disappoint! My boyfriend has relatives who knew the original founder of Ted's, I thought that was pretty cool! I really enjoyed coming here, service is super unbeatable, our server was so kind and very accommodating, he checked on us very frequently and some of the best service I've encountered! Refilled our drinks without even being asked, and always very kind. Complementary chips and salsa! I always struggle with trying to not get full off of the chips before my meal come, these were pretty great My boyfriend and I shared a steak fajita for two combo, which came with this super cute mini cast iron with our steak and super delicious caramelized onions. And gave us each our own plate of rice and beans, plus each of us got our own guac/cheese/sour cream/pico de gallo. Overall, the food was really great, both him and I felt like we could've even shared a steak combo for one and would've been really full! They give you a lot for what you order, super delicious!

Well made tacos that taste good & the shells don't break apart as soon as you pick them up. Just wish they weren't cash only.

"Was pleasantly surprised. Food was good. Great salsa and queso came with food which it should. Asked for spicy salsa and it was good as well. Tortillas good and seemed homemade with relish. Got the tamale and cheese enchilada plate. Was very tasty. Wife got the chicken taco salad and said it was good. Would recommend for area and is best Mexican restaurant so far I have tried in mustang. Would come back."
"Everything here was fantastic. They brought out 6 different Salas. They were all really good. Tostada, tacos, enchiladas, Chimi's Here for graduation. So glad we found this spot! Definitely Recommended!!!"
"New to the area and this taco shop was recommended by a friend and Fuzzy's did not disappoint! I love a lighter fresh Baja style taco vs a heavier meat/cheese/beans version. We got the taco plate (two tacos & two sides), two kids nacho plates (generous portion of nachos, side and dessert) as well as two carnitas flour shelled tacos. My only recommendation would be they switch out the shredded lettuce for cabbage. Who knows - maybe that is an option. Next time I'll be sure to ask. Cilantro rice was good, fuzzy rice seemed like a Spanish style red rice (I'm not a rice connoisseur lol), black beans were basic. Sauces on the table were flavorful- original was tangy w a hint of sweet, habenero had a kick but very manageable Service was fast and friendly. They have an app for take out orders as well as the ability to earn points with each purchase. You can bet our family will be back!"
"Ted's Cafe Escondido in Del City, Oklahoma, receives generally positive reviews for its Mexican cuisine and vibrant atmosphere. Many patrons appreciate the fresh, made-from-scratch meals and commend the service, especially noting the friendly and efficient staff. Popular menu items include chips and salsa, cheese sauce, enchiladas, and stuffed avocado. The restaurant also offers a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free optionsHowever, experiences can be mixed. Some recent reviews highlight a decline in food quality and service, suggesting a possible change in management. Despite these criticisms, the restaurant remains a popular choice for its thin, crispy chips and fluffy tortillas, alongside a robust selection of Tex-Mex dishes, we had a great experience and food was delicious-#2 shredded chicken burrito with refried beans and rice, my wife had a Taco salad and it all was delicious and our waiter Tim was absolutely delightful Overall, Ted's Cafe Escondido continues to be a go-to spot for many locals and visitors looking for reliable Mexican food in Del City"
"Let's be honest, no one expects a five-star experience here. However, let's talk about the good, the bad and the grumbly. I have to say this place was spotless and the adorable color-scheme right out of the 70s. Everyone was extremely courteous and the food came out in like two seconds. I ordered the Chilada. It was huge and also reminded me of a meal from the past with its flavor profile. It was okay, a bit salty and smothered in a can of enchilada sauce. I was a first timer so this was better than expected, but I can't say would be my first choice for this type of food. I think this team is doing everything right, but maybe Taco Casa could up their recipe game just a little."
"We drop by on our way to Colorado. We had a Smashburger, Asada tacos and flautas. The food was excellent and speedy service. The restaurant was clean and the price was very fair. I will gladly return."
"Great selection and service! I never had fried pie before but I love it! Fry anything and it will taste good for some reason haha! Ambiance inside is like a typical mom and pop donut shop, and the people in front are sweet and welcoming! Also they have a drive thru if you are in a hurry. Definitely will be coming back often!"
"Los Arcos is truly a hidden gem. I have only been here once but had a great experience. I love their set up. Their salsa and spicy salsas are delicious! It's a fun Tex-Mex place that I think is great for family, friends, and big gatherings. They are a big and spacious place. They have so many workers and they're nice! I would recommend asking for the spicy salsa. Would love to come back and try more of their different delicious entrees. Will definitely try the other location next time. They have two locations in Edmond!"
"Fast friendly serviceGreat foodGreat pricesDelicious quesoCome eat here! My first time and I'm happy Delicious!"
"Excellent service, food was hot, quick and tasty! Salsa was awesome. Fajitas were terrific, and the enchiladas were spot on also. Drinks are spot on, refills on tea without asking. Service, value, we were stuffed!!"
"Short wait due to us eating at busy time on a Monday night.... Got seated and chips and salsa were delivered promptly....Colin took great care of us. All the food came out tasty and hot! The food came out relatively quick considering the busy night.Thank you for being awesome - oh so yummy. When in the area in the future I would definitely visit again. They should all be commended!!!Kids are free on this Monday night! Respectfully,BryanYukon, Oklahoma"
"Stopped in around 9:30 last night and had steak fajitas which I shared with my Cousin. The plate was more than enough for the both of us and we even brought home leftovers. Staff was super friendly and helpful with my Celiacs dietary needs and made us fresh chips and corn tortillas. The steak was so tender and perfectly seasoned. The onions and bell peppers were so good just by themselves. I got a side salad with their Jalapeño Ranch which was really good too. Service was super fast."
"This place is no longer there. There is a very nice family style cafe in the building that serves home cooked food."
"The service here is fantastic but the food just didn't impress me which was disappointing bc others in my family speak so highly of it. Maybe nostalgia for them. The ambiance comes off as a legit authentic Mexican restaurant but the menu is all tex-mex. You can, if you know, order authentic Mexican items and they'll gladly prepare them for you. The prices are quite high for what you receive quality wise. The portions are large but the food is really nothing special. I've been told that it's changed since 2017 and use to be better especially before Covid."
"Excellent place for drinks & dinner. We are from California (dropping our nephew off to college). This restaurant was just down the street from the school. The food is excellent, the service is friendly. If I did not live a 24 hour drive away I would return again & again ~"
"Loved it! We were in the area and excited to eat at Don Ciro's. We ordered a giant trough of food for two. It was called the parrillada and was amazing. Salsa was tasty. Great service. Nice ambiance. We will definitely be back when in the area again. Or we may just drive back for the food. Yum!"
"You know not all of the Chelinos are created equal? Just like with every other family of restaurants, there's always some that are better than others, this location on Main is indeed legit!! #40 Guiso , (with all steak please,),,is my go-to at most locations, and ALWAYS with a side of mama beans (if your an ole school chelino fan like me otherwise its called chino beans!! If you dig jalapeños and onions , try this bean variation, ,,when done right, it will satisfy your soul ,,lol ...eat all this and say hello to a food coma !"
"3.5 stars - The queso (white) and Tijuana's fajitas (grilled chicken, mushrooms, onions, peppers, load with cheese on top) are AMAZING!The chips are delicious, and the staff works hard to refill drinks and chips immediately. The salsa was lacking serious flavor. I've been once when the salsa was good and the second time I could not eat it. They use margarita mix for all ritas which is a big negative. Using mix is so old school and killer on the stomach; need at least one agave/simple syrup option or something! Parking is ample, and we will be back for some good food and queso when we do not want drinks!"
"Amazing service. Chips and queso and salsa appetizers were on point. The spinach quesadillas were so filling. Plenty for leftovers. Margarita on the rocks was yummy. Everyone had a great time. Super friendly staff. Clean facilities. Go!!"
"I walked in today to order a Taco salad. Was there more than one kind? Mine was $8.45 when my daughter said 5. They called it "Supreme salad". I also ordered queso, no chips. Now, this was my own fault. She said she wanted a small, I said 8 Oz was fine. (Oops! The biggest one, at $3.70.) I threw ii an unsweetened tea to surprise her, but, she can't have caffeine. (Again, my fault, so I drank it.) But, I digress. It's been awhile since I was there. I love their chalkboard menu board. I took a pic. I need to study it. I'm curious about the Taco salad. Not complaining, because my daughter practically inhaled it when I took it to her, but I need to learn the prices these days. Good thing I had a $20, not a $10! These guys were killing it! They moved like well-oiled machine, knew what went to who among the chaotic craziness. The dining room was packed, meals going out efficiently and in a timely manner. Though a bit dark in the seating area, you could tell they were packed. I'll be back soon! Keep up the good work!"
"What a Gem in the middle of nowhere!! Basically a Chipotle build your burrito/bowl/taco, but arguably better quality meat. Delicious steak and chicken burritos (we tried both), generous portion and the lady that helped us was delightful. Really stoked to find this on our cross-country roadtrip stop."
"This place is really close to our house.1st time here after seeing reviews from Yelp friends. Such a friendly environment server was so nice. Food was so delicious and fresh, we got street tacos and wow the pork and chicken street tacos were amazing , the girls split a kids chicken quesadilla it was delicious.Because I didn't order anything as we all split.. got banged for a setup fee. We got delicious cheese dip with our salsa will definitely be back!Respectfully,BryanYukon, Oklahoma"
"Fun place that brings some unique ideas to Mexican food that adds some fun flair. It is right in the heart of downtown OKC, and super close to a lot of other fun areas. We went to a Christmas market with my sister, brother in law, and husband right before, and it was right next door. Parking can be difficult but it's worth it!We started out with the chips and salsa. The salsa was a perfect combination of both smoky and fresh tasting. I'm normally more into the lime-y, cilantro-y salsa, but it was a perfect amount of smokiness. The chips! The chips. Amazing! They were thick and had so much flavor even on their own! We also got a sangria and the house margarita to start, which were very reasonably priced and flavorful. For our meal, my sister got the enchiladas, and I got the hot chicken sopes and my husband got the roasted chicken soup with masa dumplings. They were all great! The soup was very fresh tasting and reasonably priced. The enchiladas were flavorful and had a great sauce, but were very small. It was just enough food for my sister with the Chips and salsa, but they are about the size of a Taquito. The green sauce on them is delicious! My favorite was the hot chicken sopes. They were sooooo creative and had an AMAZING flavor. The sopes themselves were thick and had a wonderful texture to them, and the hot chicken was just spicy enough without being too greasy. They were absolutely delicious! Loved them so much. Our server was nice as well, and attentive. Great little place!"
