"It's been a little while since we have had a chance to come down for a delicious meal. But when we had some new friends dying for a sushi place we knew just the place to take them! The new restaurant is so nice! Service was great and attentive and the sushi was spot on as always! We tried the chef specials Jays Tacos and they were so good we ordered more! We also ordered another chef choice which was also very good! You can never go wrong the double crunchy, and of course the best way to start any meal is a bowl of spicy edamame and their house salad with ginger dressing- quite possibly my favorite one in the city!"

"This place was absolutely amazing. The only downside, was how hot it was in the restaurant. It has an open kitchen, so that made it hot. We had a couple of appetizers, edamame and takoyaki. Very good, just let them cool off a couple of minutes, because when you get them they're like eating molten lava. Then there's the ramen. I had the seafood ramen and my son had the special pork ramen. The broth with seafood ramen was very rich and creamy. It would make for a great comfort food. The broth for the pork ramen would have been good, but my son put a special chili blend in his. It made it super spicy. I tried just a small taste and it was way too spicy for me. It was so spicy that my son had sweat running down his face. Finished the dinner some mango mochi. I would have given 5 stars, but was just so hot in there."

This place will be added to my monthly rotation based on excellent quality and taste. They have a great selection of add-ins and I recommend getting most if not all of them. I chose white rice, salmon and spicy tuna, spicy mayo and everything else but the fried onions. You also get a little bag of edamame with your order. Big thumbs up for this place!"

For example, you can get high-quality sashimi appetizers like yellowtail jalapeño slices, ahi tuna and sashimi platters for each under $12-15 roughly. The sashimi plate also comes with an excellent salad plus miso soup. Their hamachi collar is also incredible - a lot of meat on the bones and also immensely flavorful. They even gave me a free pineapple dessert (pineapple flavored with chili powder) on the house! Exceptional and highly recommended!"

I get both of them with a spice level of 1, just to kick it up a tiny bit. Flavors are phenomenal and execution is always consistent. This is one of my favorite places to visit, or to get food to-go. Their to-go food packaging is very sturdy, so you have zero issues with leaks when you order soupy items for pickup. Restrooms are clean and well-stocked. What's not to like? Give it a shot. The reviews for this place seem to be rather inconsistent, but I figured I would give it a try.Since everything is delivery/carryout, I couldn't really measure the popularity based on patronage; however, as we were waiting to place the order, there were 2 people picking up and 3 others making orders. Pretty good sign. We spent around 10 minutes looking at the menu. The menu wasn't huge, but there were several rolls I wanted to try. We placed our order and went outside to wait. Our food was done around 20 minutes later. We ordered 4 rolls, a salad, veggie egg rolls, and soup. I felt like I was going to starve with the smells coming from the bag! Anyway, we finally got to the house and sat down to eat. The veggie rolls are great, and the salad dressing was fantastic. If you aren't a fan of sweet ginger, I would advise against it. However, I loved it.The sushi rolls were great. I really enjoyed Jim's roll. The flavors were very tasty and fresh. The eel sauce was probably my favorite. My only complaint was the size of the rolls; they really weren't very big. I wonder if it is due to it being carryout? Not sure. I will, however, return. The taste is worthy for a second attempt!"

My mom and I were in Stillwater for a baseball game and we were craving anything besides burgers and bbq (no-offense)... we were surprised to find this new concept/fast casual poke restaurant. I was amazed by the quality! I've had poke in Hawaii so my standards have been set pretty high.... this place is probably the best I've had in Oklahoma! Hands down. The ambience was welcoming and modern. And the customer service was outstanding! Their menu is simple but at the same time, the options vary so your taste buds can go on a sushi/poke adventure! I had the sushi burrito (I've only had these out-of-state so I was excited to see one on the menu) and wow, that first bite blew my mind! It was super crispy, savory and fresh! Adding wonton chips was genius!!! And you get a lot of food for only $10. My mom had some shrimp tempura & miso soup and she enjoyed it! She said the miso soup was full of flavor!If I was a college kid in Stillwater, I be a regular! It's that good and I would want to try everything on the menu! "Came here this past Monday after a long drive from KC to attend a tradeshow at the Grand Casino Hotel. We looked at their menu online & I saw they had Bun Bo Hue so I said let's go! I needed spicy broth in my life at the moment. The restaurant was nothing much on the outside & decor inside was not much either. We were sat by the window & they had a tv to view. I opened my menu & to my surprise the Bun Bo Hue was crossed off the menu. I was devastated! They had a similar dish called the Shawnee Bo Hue Spicy but to me it wasn't the same. The noodles used was a thin vermicelli & not the usual thick ones. It came with meatballs & tripe which is different from all the bo hues I've eaten. I ordered their fresh shrimp rolls to go as well for a snack later. I ate those in my hotel room & it was ok. Too overly stuffed with noodles & lettuce. The spice to the Bo Hue was good & if it had the right noodles in it then it might've hit my tastebuds much better.I gave them 4 stars for the great customer service. The little old lady who served us was very sweet & attentive. She watched American Ninja with us while we were eating our food & chatted with us. I will only return here if in the area if they brought back the Bun Bo Hue."

It was plentiful. I would have liked a little more diverse flavor in the rolls. The quality of the nigiri was ok. The decor was well done. It would be better to have seating at the sushi bar to watch the preparation. The TV on in the background, while muted, showed a constant stream of news. Probably not needed since it looked like no one was watching or sitting at the bar in front. Overall not a bad place. There was plenty of food"
