"Sweet country kitchen atmosphere. Friendly staff and great service. Breakfast was yummy and I will return."
"Ordered the Sunday Baked Chicken dinner with mac and cheese (available only on Sundays) and collard greens along with corn bread. Also ordered the 7-Up cake for dessert. Ordered take out. Everything was sooo good: chicken was juicy and flavorful, the mac and cheese was the real homemade stuff and I wished I had ordered two portions. Never had eaten collard greens before but they were also just as delicious. The serving portion of the cake was enough for two people but I managed to cram the whole thing in my pie (cake?) hole and went to bed with a happy tummy. I was sad to learn they were closed on Mondays, as I would have returned. Mrs. GG was welcoming and helped guide me with my choices. If I ever return to Lawton, I'm definitely coming back!!!"
"Ok so this has become a place I will dine every time I have the chance while in OKC. The restaurant is very clean and cute inside, the staff was very helpful and the food was AH-mazing! We sat outside and the weather was perfect and they have some adorable shops surrounding them. Highly recommend this location"
"We had bacon wrapped filet steaks here last Saturday! They were delicious. There was no wait to get in and seated. The wait staff was attentive, margaritas were delicious. We also had garlic cheese nuggets for appetizers and they were the best fried cheese appetizer we have had. Will definitely come back for a great dinner out!!"
"Visiting from California and popped into this place on a Friday night. It was busy and they have a ton of great reviews so I was hoping it would be good. We were all very impressed! We were bummed they ran out of ribs but that was okay because the brisket was amazing! The BBQ sauce was super tasty. We also shared some pulled pork which was also delicious. This place really hit the spot."
"Was passing through town heading for the mexican was place found on google. It was closed, but it was all for the best, because next door was this gem of a restaurant. The staff were super friendly and the food was excellent. The menu had plenty of choices, but I settled for one of the lighter salads which was still filling. My coworker had the brisket plate and loved it as well. The salad bar had many choices including a caprese salad. There were pastries and other snacks and goodies for sale that looked amazing! We were later surprised to see the dessert fridge and had to have a slice of banana cream pie and pistachio pie, respectively. They were phenomenal, I should have purchased a full pie to go."
"This is a very unique restaurant and a very unique experience. Absolutely LOVE Debbie the owner and the calming atmosphere of the place. The food is real home cookin that is more than worth the wait, and the people there are great people. Easily 5 stars."
"Everyone talks about what a great place this is for breakfast. We walk into a large round room, completely encased in windows, giving us an uninterrupted view of the airstrip. We settled into a window seat for two.The menu is simple. Breakfast items on one side, lunch on the other. A little pricey, compared to other restaurants with the same fare. It's cozy, the waitress greeted us with a warm smile. Dad ordered biscuit and gravy with a side of hash browns. I ordered the #2, which is the standard 2 eggs, meat (I chose ham) hash browns and home made bread (Or toast, but who chooses toast over home made bread?) While waiting, I had a chance to admire the small planes hanging from the ceiling. I noted 2 people sitting at the counter, 2 groups of middle-aged people and almost all of the seats at the window were taken by single, middle-aged men.I was instantly intrigued. No children. The youngest person in the room was the waitress. She was probably mid-thirties. She told us there would be a bit of a wait, as the cook had a large go order she had started on before we arrived. Fair enough. Conversation around the room indicated a regular crowd.Breakfast arrived. The ham was sliced thick, the homemade bread sumptuous. The hash brown serving was more than generous. The gravy cane in a large bowl, made from scratch, as we're the biscuits. No wonder everyone says the breakfast is good. I daresay we will be back, even if the menu prices are a bit steep. Come see for yourself!"
"I don't know why this isn't listed on yelp but Rays chicken has a location in a brick & morter building as well as the food truck. Rays chicken kitchen is located in the "Parlor" just east of Broadway on 6th street. Their bistro is on the upper level. We ordered the Nashville hot chicken and were treated to the best chicken tenders we've ever had. Unbelievably good, super tender, with just the right amount of heat. You can choose from several heat levels, being wimps we chose the mildest. There were a lot of other chicken dishes we wanted to try from the menu so Rays will be a definite return trip. Our chicken came with some great fries, deli style sliced pickels, & bread. Nashbird has really good Nashville hot chicken but Rays is flat out better."
"Spunkies are masters of what they do. This soul food right here went to Harvard. Go argue with your mama. Like many of the reviews read, this isn't fast food (McSpunkie's). You will wait. Nothing crazy though. I think I waited like 15-20 mins or so. But that's because the entrees are freshly made when you order. Plus do you really want soul food that's ready in 5 minutes or less? probably not. I've been there twice and on the first visit I got the fried pork chops which were insanely delicious. Juicy and Seasoned just right. It was raining heavily that day so I just took my food to the car and devoured it in the parking lot while listening to my favorite podcast (Here's the thing). The 2nd time, I got the wings. Also very good and reminded me of how wings are made back home in MD. Mattafack.... Spunkies originated in MD, so they definitely get extra love from me. I've only gotten mommies sweet potatoes and the Mac and cheese. Both are ahhhmazing. I don't love going to Penn square mall, but this food is totally worth it. Oh and let's not forget the honey bread roll. Everything I've had here doesn't disappoint."

This place is a must! The family of this establishment are the sweetest, and so easy to work with. My father had them cater for his clinic, and the food was a huge hit. We had fried chicken, meatloaf, yams, cornbread stuffing with gravy, and the macaroni and cheese. The sweet tea was the real thing and they even let us borrow nice treys and pitchers for the lunch. I love that it is a family run business and their son is one of the cooks. They cook with love and you can taste it. This place is truly a hidden gem! Thank you for blessing Lawton with amazing food and the best yams I've ever had! I forgot to get pictures but I will next time!

We're passing through Enid, OK and my husband Googled for a local breakfast restaurant and landed on Barnstormers. It's located in the Enid Airport. It was worth the out-of-the-way stop! Portions are huge! Completely satisfying and all homemade.

"This is the restaurant you go to when you're ready for big helpings and to put your sweatpants to work. Very old-school style restaurant that tastes just like mawmaw and pawpaw's house. The employees are incredibly kind and it really does feel like going to a family Sunday dinner."
"This was our first visit to a Chicken Foot. Walking in, the interior reminded us of a Torchy's. You order, then seat yourself, and the bar is a separate tab. I ordered the spring chik'n salad crispy. My husband had the chicken and waffles, which was kind of skimpy on chicken. We shared the fried pickles. The chicken was great! Will definitely return. The waffles were tasty and the salad was fresh. The pickles were perfectly battered. The reasons I didn't rate a 5. They offer a happy hour menu, which I would suggest they try to push. The guy that took our order did not mention. We didn't see the sign until we sat down. We may have ordered additional apps if we had known. Second, we were charged for ranch! The unfortunate part is neither of us even like ranch. We didn't use it but we were charged 50 cents for it. An understandable cost if you realize you are being charged. We will not make that mistake again! I would suggest the cashier be more up front about hidden fees. Inside and outside was clean. Service was quick."
"I love the vibe of kindred spirits. Each cocktail is intentionally thought out.Kindred Spirits is beautifully decorated although Its small space inside. Both bathrooms are decorated nice! Kindred offers the much needed outside patio space for live music on Eastside. People love the option to have a choice to sit inside or outside. The liquor libations are carefully thought out and crafted. Its an excellent space to network through the week. On some weekends there will be 1-3 food vendors. Book your table in advance for sunset Sunday's. 630 to 9pm. The purple rain is my favorite Sunday libations along with the dusee orange moon. I have tried all but 3 libations on the regular menu they all are excellent! . I love the patio vibe & space only thing is only light bites & a salad on the menu!"
"I attended a birthday party at The Press recently. We sat on the patio & it was perfect with our big group.I ordered the Press Cobb & it was amazing. It had deviled eggs on it which was the perfect touch to make the salad extra special. I would order it again! Can't wait to try more dishes next time."
"I always enjoy coming here. You can't go wrong order the sliders. The daily specials have been a welcome change!"
"Great food and even better service! REAL mashed potatoes We had everything from fried fish to steak, quesadillas to pinto beans and fried okra. Oh, get a homemade roll...freaking delicious!"
"I will start by saying I always hated large buffets. Cleanliness... Public... Selection.... Quality......However, we gave GC another shot after many many years and it was great. This is a 5 star rating for price to quality and extreme cleanliness. The workers were all very friendly as well.I had some fried catfish, fried chicken, and smoked pork. All were excellent. The sides were varied and the salad bar had tons of fresh fruits and veg.Of course, there were plenty of desserts too!All this for less than we spend a Sonic."
"Good food with a nice country atmosphere. The prices are good and folks are very friendly. The building is older, but we like that! My wife enjoyed the frito pie, and I had the stuffed baked potato. Everything was excellent and it was fun. I would recommend it."
"It wasn't the hoppin' Saturday night that I was hoping for, but we had a good time at Ole Red. As a fan of country music, a visit to Oklahoma would not have been complete without a visit to Ole Red. We enjoyed the live music, the food and the merchandise store. As for the dining, the service was super friendly, as we have come to expect in Oklahoma. I know I'm generalizing, but they really are the nicest people. The food was simple fare of burgers, salads, and other classics. We shared the pretzel and white queso to start. I've developed a fondness for white queso. My husband had a burger and he loved the awesome sauce. I had the meatloaf and it was delicious. While it was not the party I was looking for, we had a great meal, listen to some good music and bought a few souvenirs to take home."
"I ordered this through door dash so I have not visited the location yet. You may order your two eggs any way you like them so I requested over medium and that's exactly what I got. The biscuits and gravy were amazing, the hasbtowns were fresh and hot. I really enjoyed this breakfast."
"What's not to love?! Always have great drinks. Tonight had their old fashion. Food consistently hits the spot! Ask for a side of jalepeno when getting the Mac and cheese. It's amazing!! All of the sides are yummy! The corn bread can't be missed. Order it all and take rhetorical leftovers home!"
"The fried fish is so delicious and crispy. Crunchy on the outside and flavorful inside. The service was good too. I will return when I'm in town."
"What a great soul food location. I'd never even heard of this place until we searched google for soul food and decided to try out this place. All you can eat buffet, 2 for $20. They had fried chicken, fried catfish, and cajun casserole for the main entres. I got the green beans, mashed potatoes, and mac n cheese with jalapeno cornbread. Everything was delicious. The staff was all super friendly and very accomodating."
"A real hidden gem. Cash only. Everything made in advance and under heat lamp, but tastes homemade as it gets. As another reviewer pointed out - portions are hit or miss depending on what you get. Menu also rotates.Loved the pork chops, mac n cheese, wings.Yams and cabbage needed a lil something. Don't expect to sit and eat. Great lunch spot for takeout though."
