"Service was excellent! Food was phenomenal and the portions were huge. This is one of our top 3 Chinese restaurants to visit."
"Wow, what a great food experience. Service was great, very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was nice Pan fried pork dumplings were excellent Chocolate dessert dumplings were excellent Shanghai style Tonkatsu was good"
"I've been to a couple other Chinese restaurants in town and haven't been overly impressed. Walking in to Chuan Wei I wasn't expecting much. The interior is in need of some updating. The menu selections are typical Chinese restaurant fare and the prices are reasonable. The plates they set down in front of you, however, are actually great looking, not just dumped on a plate like so many restaurants. The food is outstanding. I've looked a long time for a decent hot and sour soup and it's delicious here. I've been here 3 different times, gotten 3 different entrees and have loved every one. Definitely a must stop when craving Chinese in Woodward, OK."
"I'm a French fry person. I judge an eating establishment by the quality of its French fries.Cobbs obviously has more than one cook. Some French fries come to the table properly cooked--a little crunchy and very little grease--cooked to perfection! On another day the French fries arrive limp, wimpy and greasy--almost inedible.Cobbs menu has a wide variety of items--we've tried many of them and have found all items to be quite tasty. All in all, a good family restaurant with quite reasonable prices. The workers are over worked but yet retain a friendly attitude--they deserve a good tip!"
"The menu here isn't very extensive, but everything they make tastes great and they literally make you feel like family the whole time you are there. They come out and talk to you and make sure you are satisfied. It's kind of off the beaten path, and so they don't get as much business as they SHOULD. Shame on the people that live in this town -- they had to reduce their menu offerings quite a bit because they don't do well based on their location. But in such a small town where everyone knows each other, there is no excuse. Boomers, please solicit this business more!"
"This place is charming AND delicious! 100+ year old house converted to a restaurant and bakery. My Reuben sandwich was excellent, the pastrami was tender. My wife tried the chicken and Swiss lunch special and she wasn't disappointed. Chicken was moist and the sauce had some really nice flavor. There's a small plate on the table when you sit down with cookie samples from the bakery! Excellent marketing move since the cookies are amazing! Definitely recommend!"
"Im a part time "F"egan, but I try to eat like one! I'd say 70% of the time... LOL So as you can see i like to eat clean so I had to take a ride out and stop by this place, i was super happy to make that move!!! Parking was pretty easy and soon as you walk into the building you cant miss it its right there. So the menu had a nice selection and the customer service was amazing! I was ready to order everything pre-usual but i'll be back TRUST! Ordered the Chopped Kale salad and chili! SLAMMMINNNNNNNN... When im back in a few weeks i'll be back for new stuff to order!"
"Special, community restaurant next to grocery.Got the goat pepper soup, the ogbono soup with tilapia and amala. Tasty adventure, will return to try more!"
"WOW!!! I'd eat here everyday if I was close. Love the family and it's great to see the kids. Food is always great and if you tell them you want it spicy, get ready. These are the restaurants we need to be ordering from as often as possible."
"The jambalaya and gumbo here are amazing!Very friendly people, and they have such a passion for food. He has always innovating his menu and adding on daily specials."
"While I love eating local, and the food was decent, this place fell a little flat for me in terms of overall experience. First and foremost: the service was awful. It took us a full 5 minutes to be seated, another 10 for drinks to be brought out, and 10 MORE for alcohol to be brought out and for us to finally place food orders. The restaurant was basically empty while we were there and we were the only table in our waitress' section. Of the near 2 hours we were in the restaurant, our waitress appeared a grand total of 4 times (our food was brought by a runner). As for the food, the one thing I will give it is that the value is spectacular. $10 got me a ton of food, and most of my food was to my liking, and somewhat authentic. I'd likely order this to-go, because the food really was good, but the poor service will likely prevent me from coming back to dine."
"Fresh, fresh, fresh food. Very clean inside. They've been around for a while and I wish inwpuldve tried it sooner. Not a places are opened on Sunday and they are. We havent had anything from here that isnt good."

This place has been recommended to me for years and I've never been, so tonight my partner and I decided to go for dinner. I had the curry fried rice, he had the combination udon noodles and we split some apps (fried dumplings and crab Rangoon). The ladies in the front of the house were nice but not overly friendly. The place looked clean. The food was good but honestly a little underwhelming, especially for the price (which has gone up but they haven't changed it on any of the menus so surprise your $36 meal for two is now $50 before tip). The fried dumplings were really over done and the rangoon were almost non edible they were so well done. The fried rice was really tasty and to quote my partner "the udon noodles were good but the meat just tasted like it was from a fajita plate at a bad Mexican restaurant." I would definitely eat there again and try something different but it definitely didn't quite live up to the hype of my friends' recommendations.

Brand new soup dumpling place in OKC. The servings are about 6 per portion, which is about average. I'd recommend getting two different types if you're hungry. There's a window on the side of the restaurant where you can look in and see the chefs making the dumplings. When we got there, it was pretty busy and fairly long line, but they were good about getting our food fairly quickly . We got the crab and pork as well as the pork and the beef. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. I would recommend using the chili sauce on the table. So good. Parking : across the street in a small parking lot.

Food is great with friendly service. But, locals tell me they don't always get good health department scores.

We were wanting home style food for lunch as we made a quick trip down to Ponca on a weekday. After several passes on other chain restaurants we decided to give JW Cobbs a try. We loved our waitress! All the staff was so great and very attentive. It seemed it was a regular spot for many locals and everyone knew everyone by name. I loved the atmosphere and I do believe they have the best chicken sandwich I have ever had! Both our meals we delicious and HUGE for not much money. JW Cobbs is a diamond in the rough. We will make it a regular go-to from now on!!

My wife and I went for the first time today. While we're from Muskogee we only make it back a few times a year. My mother-in-law suggested we go for lunch. It's a bit of a climb up the stairs in front, although there is a ramp in the back with the bakery entrance. The ambiance just in keeping with the 100-yr-old setting. Tables for 4 are scattered in a couple of front rooms, and the chairs are small but sufficient. I had the Norman-Marcus chicken salad sandwich. The bread was fresh and the chicken salad was ample and flavorful. I had a side salad with homemade ranch and it was very good. My wife and mother-in-law had baked potato soup for their sides and it was hot, thick, and filling. I finished with the German chocolate bread pudding and our waiter was foresighted enough to bring 3 spoons. My wife and I enjoyed it very much; hot, chocolate, cinnamon, and very rich. We'll have to add Harmony House into our list of places to stop when we're in town.

This is seriously my home away from home! Now, Nourished IS a vegan food bar - so don't come here expecting meat or eggs. They don't try to replicate those things either. They just serve whole foods the way God intended and somehow make them taste divine. I say that because when I cook the same foods they def don't taste as good as what Jamie plates for me. This couple has poured their heart and soul into the business of nourishing others and you can taste that in every bite. I really enjoy the weekly specials, but my go-to lately has been soup (potato is especially good with some franks hot sauce) and cheese and crackers (because I love their house made cashew cheese). Their Kale salad is def a good choice though in any scenario.

"Amazing pho and exceptional service!!You can tell it's family run and everything was so fresh. We didn't wait long, we stopped for a quick bite to eat while we were traveling. The pho was out of this world. The kids ordered the kids meal(chicken/shrimp) and the kids devoured them. We were originally going to stop at Chik fil a but we were so glad to have stopped here instead. We also got their Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee. You owe to yourself to try this place!"
"Upon coming in, it's not much to look at but the service was top notch! I got the chicken noodles and it was delicious! I got the oolong tea which was perfect and my partner got the green tea. We started with crab Rangoon and it's my favorite from anywhere. I do like sweet crap Rangoon. Everything was great and I've been waiting to get back and order again!"
"Boil in a bag seafood that you can customize the sauce flavor and spice level. I always get the mussels and a lobster tail. The potatoes and corn on the cob soak up the sauce flavor and are awesome."
"A charming tea house that offers several homemade specials and is known in the area for their delicious French silk pie. Their lunch plates are a delightful way to sample their soup, surprisingly yummy pear jello ( name does not do it justice!) and heart shaped bran muffin. It was quite busy in this Wednesday as we imagine it is every day. The owner greeted us, our waitress Bobbie was very attentive. Clean, nicely decorated, and enjoyable luncheon/gift shop."
"We love this cute little shop! It's a great place to order and just hang out. Their smoothie bowls are great with many different base options like açaí, pitaya, and more. They just added a matcha base too that is pretty good. You can build your own bowl which is great for my picky kids! They have delicious sandwiches and kids meals. Everything is reasonably priced. The owner is great and his staff is pretty good. Be prepared to wait at least 10 minutes for your order so if you're in a super rush, you may consider ordering ahead of time then picking up. If they're super busy, it will take even longer. There's usually just one or two people working and things can get busy. We love going here for a healthy food option!"
"The lemon blueberry muffins are absolutely awesome! They have a good selection of coffee and are fairly quick to prepare. It's a nice building with ample seating. Sure wish they had a drive-thru. Overall good coffee here. I was disappointed with a few things. The selection is a bit limited. They don't offer caramel flavoring or have Splenda and I drink mostly caramel lattes so that's a downside for me. Anyway, probably be back for more muffins."
"I've got a breakfast buddy who relies on me for restaurant suggestions, so I found this spot during a search for morning grub. The location just east of I-235 and west of the Capitol has seen a number of tenants over the years, and because the exterior and signage are relatively nondescript it's easily missed. It's on the east side of Burger King. Because 23rd Street is divided with a median, you'll need to be on the westbound side to get to the restaurant.Inside is clean, but pretty bare. It gave me a sort of 1970's fast food vibe: clean, uncluttered, and unremarkable. That's totally okay, because we come to places like this to eat. This place seems to be known for its burritos and tacos. I saw a burrito come out for another guest, and it was sizable. My friend ordered one of the breakfast plates, and I chose beef and chorizo breakfast tacos. The food came out quick and hot. My friend's plate looked great, and he confirmed that everything was indeed delicious. My tacos were on the large side, and very flavorful. I'm always wary when I get chorizo because it can be really greasy, but this serving had just the right amounts of spice and fat. They served two different salsas: a mild red, and a spicy green. Both were good, but I found myself using more of the green. The menu and other reviews indicate the owners are Guatemalan in heritage, so the coffee was as good you might expect. The service was attentive, friendly, and helpful. My experience was good enough that I definitely want to try lunch. They serve menudo on Fridays and Saturdays, and offer mole on Fridays only. They're closed Sundays, and only open until 2:30PM. So if you want to grab some tasty fare without the lines you may encounter at some other spots, and you don't mind sparse decor, pay these folks a visit. Great food, great service, and great value."
"Wow, what a find. This place was awesome! The food was so fresh and they kept everything full. The steak was so juicy and they kept it under onions to keep it from drying out. Very impressed."
"One of our favorite places to stop on the way to OKC. Always interesting and healthy menu options with personable service. The chef is fantastic!"
"This was so flavorful. The owner was so nice and helpful. The staff was also extremely nice! You just have to give it a try!"
"Stopped here for lunch. Had the chicken pad Thai. Great service and a great meal. Perfectly cooked and you get to choose your spice level. Will be my new favorite spot. Price was $13.95 for the meal."
"I don't know what the employees get such a bad rap. Just left there everyone was polite and as usual the sandwich was still the best in the state. Highly recommend."
"Disappointing. Steak was overcooked and low quality. Someone else is the group got a filet and said it was great. Bourbon pour was slim. Limited sides and soup came with the meal but salad was a side. Price was reasonable for a good steakhouse. Service was ok for us but my daughter had gone earlier and received poor service. Probably issue of college couple vs 4 older adults. Old building that they had made some effort to renovate"
"The food was delicious. Service was polite. The ambiance is Caribbean ready. Cool music. Indoor and outdoor dining. Bring your friends."
"Found this restaurant when ordering take out one night and it is now my staple sushi place. Truly the best sushi I have had in town. This is always my go to now. The restaurant itself is a cute hole in the wall. The staff is nice."
"Soup Soup is still rocking it, and if you have not discovered how they can be useful to you then you just have not heard of them. You really don't need to make it here before you call in an order for your next event or personal fulfillment, but making it in can be a pleasure to the sensesUpon entry you will be whelmed with visual and aromatic goodness, and understandably overwhelmed with the desire to eat all of the things. If you are lucky then you'll come on a day where there are samples of items available, but the post-covid world has changed this dramatically, so again you'll be lucky to catch this treatSeriously they make everything in the food world. It is like you're walking in to a chef's private space where they have cutting boards full of produce and meats being prepped for dishes, floured surfaces where doughs are being kneaded for pastries and breads etc, large and small appliances being used to mix the magical flavors used in the recipesBe careful of the strawberry cake; you'll want to be around someone when you try it because you may need to be resuscitated when you realize how poor your strawberry cake decisions have been throughout your life up to that point"
"Very tasty food, great ambiance, and super nice staff. Had the Indian taco special, which was delicious. Exactly how I want an Indian taco to taste. For dessert, had a slice of lemon-blueberry cake which was heavenly. Definitely recommend!"
"Delicious! I have been looking for some decent Chinese Food in S. OKC area for sooooo long. China Wok is good, but won't play nice with Doordash etc., and the tiny strip mall "Chinese" restaurants are all the same... average if you're lucky. Long Zhu has the best Egg Rolls, Egg Drop Soup and Pork Fried Rice I've had in years. S&S Chicken is good, not great. Chicken Egg Foo Young is also very good. Also, very affordable at the time of this review."
"Awesome food! So glad I found this place. The place needs a through cleaning and coat of paint on everything!"
"We went to a conference at the vo-tech and ate here two days in a row. It was delicious! Amazing tomato bisque, yummy sandwiches and yummy desserts. Try it!"
"North Oklahoma City has been graced with a Korean BBQ gem that stands out for its quality and ambiance. The Korean iced coffee is a delightful surprise, reminiscent of the robust flavors found in a traditional Vietnamese coffee. The establishment prioritizes cleanliness, which is immediately noticeable and appreciated. While initially the music volume was high, the staff was accommodating and promptly adjusted it upon request, creating a more enjoyable dining atmosphere. The Jap Chae, or glass noodle dish as listed on the menu, is a noteworthy item. The meats are a particular highlight, each well-marinated and seasoned to perfection. The Galbi (short ribs), beef bulgogi, smoked garlic pork belly, and calamari have earned their place as our favorites. We are already looking forward to our next visit and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to others seeking a top-notch Korean BBQ experience in the area."
"They focus on carry out, so if you are looking for quick service with excellent food, this will be your favorite sushi place. Don't expect an exquisite evening out at a posh restaurant with higher prices, or you will leave underwhelmed. Hefner Sushi and Poke is a family run business that focuses on quality. It has the best miso soup that I have ever tasted. Just call it matching my taste buds exactly. I have alway purchased from them for lunch from their various lunch specials and I have enjoyed every sushi roll that I bought. Try them and make up your own mind, but you will keep coming back."
"Food is really good. Ordered a blackened chicken Cesar wrap and fries. Really good food, but if you need a side of ranch you are better off bringing your own. They charge you 2 dollars for a side or ranch. They would have gotten five stars but charging 2 dollars for an extra side is a bit much."
