"I love the little cozy speakeasy vibe. We got seated quickly, ordered some waters and asked our waitress about some nonalcoholic drinks. She suggested a virgin mojito which was so good! We also got a cesar salad with chicken and a side of grits. Both were great. Sarah our waitress was truly wonderful and provided great service and recommendations. The live Jazz music was a nice touch. While enjoying our meal and the music we also observed another waiter "Sterling" who was exceptionally respectful and hard working.We will definitely be back to Bourbon St."

The flavors did not disappoint! The base to the red beans and rice was very flavorful!! The sausage wasn't the one I would have used but still good. The crawfish was tender and well cooked. I loved it!! My server was kind and quick, always keeping my water full. The restaurant was quaint but lovely! Would definitely be back next time I'm passing through town :)"

They were incredibly chintzy on the meat, so I was eating mostly carrots/cabbage, but those carrots and cabbage were able to really do the work of keeping me happy because of the great sauce/flavor.[] The Average []Prices are kinda high. It's going to be a minimum of $15, but likely more once you include tip and stuff.[] The Bad []The Pineapple Curry was nothing but "Heat" and "Sweet." I've had Pineapple Curry before where there were also savory elements. But this was just spicy (which I asked for it, so I wasn't opposed to that) on the front end, and then it was really sweet at the back end. Like a weird spicy dessert...[] The Outright Clown-Make Up Level Customer Service Fail []My friend asked if he could get some hot water instead of ice water. They said sure. Then at the end when I paid for the meal, I noticed on the receipt that they had added $0.75 for hot water. I asked them about it because WTF to charging for hot water? The server tells me that it's because they had to use electricity to boil the water. I think I was stunned by the stupidity of the logic there. I think my face also communicated my annoyance about the whole thing. But I always struggle with walking that fine line of being like "yo, this is not okay" and not ending up being an outright Karen about it in the process. But the kicker was that after I paid, the server comes back and effectively said, "We got this restaurant from someone else, and we didn't know that they charged for hot water. But the next time you come, tell us and we won't charge for the hot water."Okay, there are so many layers of the trash-levels of service recovery to unpack here, but I'm going to do it regardless:1. He straight told me that he was going to pass off the cost of electricity (which is absolute nonsense and nowhere near $0.75) for boiling some water on our behalf. 2. He waited to charge my card, before then blame-shifting to the previous owners on why it happened.3. He lied about how he was unaware that their system charges for water, like I was going to forget that just 10 minutes earlier, he was really quick to come up with the nonsense about electricity costs when I asked him about getting charged for hot water4. His attempt at service recovery was not to offer any form of corrective action. Not an offer to refund me. Not even a statement saying they will remove that egregious hot water charge from their system. The most magnanimous thing this tightwad business owner was offering to do was to comp me for hot water (IF I ASK), the next time I visit. To quote one of my favorite memes: "The Lion, the Witch, and the Audacity of this B..."The receipt they provide recommends 18%, 20% and 30% for gratuity. At some point, you're not interested in running a restaurant. You're interested in ripping people off and doing it through food (or hot water)."

"Pier 88 is soooo good! My personal favorite the snow and king crab legs in the pier 88 sauce medium spice level. Add a pound of shrimp to that and I'm the happiest girl alive. I always ask for the boil to have just corn as the potatoes are bland and bleh. I have been to this location and the Nichol Hills location and this one is so much better. The crab legs are much bigger, sweeter, and flavor of the sauce is better. I don't know why as they're both the same restaurants. If I had gone to the Nichol Hills location first I would have never went back. I have been to Pier 88 three times now in the last three weeks. They do have a bar so get a cold one with your seafood. I read a review where it says the onion rings are really good here. They're not. Do not waste your money. Maybe my opinion is an unpopular opinion but yeah, I don't think they're good. Besides snow crab legs, king crab legs, and shrimp, that is all I've had here and that's all I'll continue to eat. The corn is a must try. It's so flavorful with the sauce. I would highly recommend asking for a cup of lemon wedges and butter. The lemon cleans your pallet, gives it a little tang, and the butter adds a little extra to the food. If you're going to eat and indulge, might as well clog your arteries. I'm counting down the days to go back for the fourth time hopefully before or on Father's Day. Oh yeah I'm not a father, but I get to enjoy the food and day too right. I saw a man sit at the bar by himself and eat and that is something that is so cool and I'd totally do cause finding a seafood lover to dine with is hard! Luckily I'm married to one so we have been able to go a lot. I tried their chocolate molten lava cake and it's awful. Don't waste your money on that. Otherwise, go ahead and try everything for yourself!"

Pretty good sign. We spent around 10 minutes looking at the menu. The menu wasn't huge, but there were several rolls I wanted to try. We placed our order and went outside to wait. Our food was done around 20 minutes later. We ordered 4 rolls, a salad, veggie egg rolls, and soup. I felt like I was going to starve with the smells coming from the bag! Anyway, we finally got to the house and sat down to eat. The veggie rolls are great, and the salad dressing was fantastic. If you aren't a fan of sweet ginger, I would advise against it. However, I loved it.The sushi rolls were great. I really enjoyed Jim's roll. The flavors were very tasty and fresh. The eel sauce was probably my favorite. My only complaint was the size of the rolls; they really weren't very big. I wonder if it is due to it being carryout? Not sure. I will, however, return. The taste is worthy for a second attempt!"

There is a full bar to order from as well as soda (Pepsi products), teas and water. Orders were taken. Mine came with the salad bar ( best one around IMO) and soup. So off I went. Everything was fresh and full so I made a nice salad one and then my fave French onion soup. Lots of onions tonight. The salad was awesome and the French soup so so. Was disappointed. Wasnt bad, just seemed like it was made quickly, which is possible if they were busy earlier. Just didn't have tht deep onion flavor and too much bay leaf. Stuffed mushrooms were great. Orders were: Shrimp scampi with baked potato. Looked and smelled great. Was awesome per my friend Sue. Petite teriyaki sirloin with baked potato. Everything was good Prime rib sandwich. My wife didn't realize there was a difference between this and the sliced prime rib sandwich so it was one piece and was hard for her to eat. Was good and her plate was empty so tht says something. Just take note on tht. She had fries with it. I had the beer battered cod with bake potato. Was cooked good just could have used a touch of finishing salt when it came out of the fryer. There was a salt shaker on the table so I fixed it. All the baked potatoes were smoking hot. They are available with butter, sour cream, chives, cheese and I believe bacon. I usually like mine on the side then I can control the amounts so you have to tell them tht or they add it. Overall great dinner. They have taken care of large groups of seniors for my wife and everything is always great."

We came in a little later around 730 and our server was awesome and had a couple suggestions and pointed us to the fajitas and they were huge ! We overheard the table behind us say they wanted hot salsa and we ended up trying both and the original salsa wasn't the greatest honestly but the hot salsa was damn hot and good ! We got chicken/steak fajitas for two and it came with lotssss of onions and fresh peppers as well . The chicken and steak were seasoned well and piled high allowing us to have plenty to eat! All the tortillas tasted fresh and they had two option corn or flour . The chips that come with the salsa are on the thinner side but had plenty of salt and tasted like they were made in house . Quesadilla had plenty of cheese we went with the chicken option and it tasted just as good as the fajitas . We were sat in a booth as well and the inside felt very authentic but man the padding on the seats were pretty thin that's the only thing that I can say bad about this."

The crust was a nice golden brown gives you the right amount of crunch when you bite into it. Now linguine al pesto lacked all kinds of seasoning. The vegetable had some seasons on the so I mixed them all together and tried it, it helped a little bit l. I think may be some parmesean cheese would have helped. I know if I were in the restaurant they would ask me if I would like some at least I hope."
