"I dropped in at the coffee shop next door and discovered this gorgeous tropical plant store. They have a shared door with The Gathering Place (the adorable coffee shop next door) and their own door also. The individual door looks like an alleyway between two stores lined with beautiful plants. The owners have ties to Ft. Smith, Arkansas with deep entrepreneurial roots in nurseries. They opened the adorable coffee shop next door and call Shawnee, Oklahoma home. Their web site says "We believe that cultivating life in your home and workplace creates a healthier lifestyle. Plants are one of the most unique ways that you can do that! We love all kinds of plants and love to help find plants for people that work for them. We love having a unique selection of plants and we handpick them from greenhouses all across the Midwest. We want to inspire you to bring plants into home and help educate you on the unique plant that you find! We don't want you to come back because your plant died, we want you to come back because of how much you loved caring for the one you have! We also offer residential design and help stage homes!"They want to help the buyer with their plants and want people to love plants. They want to share the peace and life that a living plant can bring into a space! If you need plants in the metro area, THIS IS THE PLACE! It's worth the drive! Come on out."
"The best part of Oklahoma City? Uh, no.But deep discounts and top rate lawn and garden products? YES!Terrific buys on bulk seed here -- some of the best bargains in the entire staff.Friendly, helpful service ALWAYS.Four generations of my family have shopped here, and with damn good reason."
"This pet shop is beyond messy. It's a maze of disorganized clutter, much of it dirty and unkempt. Most of their animals are very much overpriced. Their snake selection is excellent and looked well cared for. My daughter is obsessed with anything that slithers or crawls. We enjoy the many color variations of ball pythons here. But their king snakes are stuffed in small bins, not on display. While it's mostly reptiles they also sell a large variety of tarantulas, a few amphibians, and a handful of rodents like guinea pigs and rabbits. They do not sell aquarium fish. For a fee you can also feed their alligator and tortoises. The entire space is claustrophobic, but it gets especially crowded at their checkout counter. I like the bamboo grove surrounding their building, but it needs to be better cared for. It's overgrown and housing wild life. Like the big dirty that rat startled me while walking back to my car last visit. While I do like that it is family-owned and operated, they Badly need to sink some time and money into organizing and cleaning. And rehash their high pricing."
"These folks USED to be my favorite local wholesale plant growers. Until they proved to deal badly with the general public, after I had an inconsiderate exchange with them on Facebook. Seems they only value their retail vendors, not realizing ultimately it is the end-user that keeps their business thriving. It's too bad, because their "Red Dirt" label plants are often sold at local mom & pop shops I frequent."
"I LOVE this store! They have some of the rarest plants for the best prices. The owner is the sweetest lady. Even if you aren't looking to buy plants I suggest coming in to look around."
"So we stopped today to look for some unique flowers. They have quite a selection and everything was looking really healthy. They were very helpful with answering our questions and very attentive to their customers needs. The prices are really good. Was a pretty good drive for us but worth it as we picked up some awesome colors. Check them out."
"Super cute plant shop with plants in varying budgets. I picked up a pretty Jade pothos for under $10 , but if you wanted something fancier or rarer they had quite a variety! I can't wait to pick another plant out sometime oh ! And the staff was friendly and made sure to ask if I had any questions."
"We were visiting from out of state. Picked up I move plant to take home and were grabbed some new jalapeños to try from an employee"
"5 for coolness factor (mostly because of the location, next door to Stitch).4 for selection.2 for service.1 for price point.I guess if I averaged this out I should be rating The Plant Shoppe a 4 but I just couldn't do it.This place has been on my radar for a while because of the succulents and as we walked by one evening (after closing time), we saw a huge and beautiful bird of paradise int he window. We went back to inquire. There was only one other person in the shop. We waited patiently until she left to inquire. We were simply told, "It's not for sale" and the clerk immediately went back to her phone. We did end up buying some totally overpriced cacti. I might be back. Work on friendliness though."
"This is a medium sized nursery with a so-so parking lot but the plants are phenomenal. They grow their own and their prices are good.I needed another plant because I lost one during the lost frosty night a couple of weeks ago. I didn't know what I wanted but I do have a stick in the ground for a plant that needed tied up and my stick was lonely. I found yet another tomato plant. This makes nine tomato plants. It's a seriously good thing that I love tomatoes. I also saw a planter I want at a good price (better than anywhere else by a couple of dollars) but it's pricier than I can afford until I get back to work. But when it is in my budget I'm coming back here."

So my yard guy was about to cut my grass & do clean up when he found many creepy Crowley things in my back yard. He was using a weed wackwaker and thought he had cut my garden hose. Come to find out it was a garden snake that he cut. He suggested before he continued to do any yard work to get some poison from the eckroat feed store. I bought a bag that the clerk said was $40, which only rung up for $21. #winning, now who is going to spread this stuff in my yard? Not me with spider's, snakes and other crawling things. I so am not a play in dirt kind of woman!

I was scoping the place out for a new reptile to call my son. This place is AMAZING! They treat all their reptiles, mammals, spiders, and other crawlers with care! They even got big boi pythons which honestly kept me from getting the gecko the first day I went looking in their store (Big snakes scare me for I am but 5'2 ) They were able to educate me on what reptiles would be great for beginners and children since my little brother would be anxious to interact with George. I was offered to put him in a free container but the one I got was for the crickets I'd get for later (Pro Tip: DONT BUY CRICKETS GET THEM SOME MEAL WORMS I PROMISE!) Overall very responsible bleeders and sellers.

Max and I got the Gaurna Wandflower in pink. They stand so tall and they flower all season long! Blooms mom-stop' ! I love it! Also, their sweet potato vines are the brightest green, almost a neon chartreuse. Our garden is beautiful!

"Good place to buy plants. Has a lot of different types of plants. Average price but really far away from the city. Staffs seem knowledgeable, but they wouldn't repot my plants for me. Has 10% discount with Yelp check in. Too far for me to come back though."
"Awesome selection, fair prices, and healthy, luscious plants! Every employee knows their stuff. They have every size of plant you can imagine--from a 2 inch air plant to a 6 foot cactus. Lots of tropical plants and succulents galore. If you need something big and leafy, this is also a great place to look!"
"I have long purchased (Kansas City-made) Trapp candles -- they're simply THE BEST.Always glad to find the Trapp scents I love at Trochta's right here in Oklahoma City!"
"I love this store. They have plants to plant, and TONS OF SEEDS. They have dog food, cat food, feed for livestock, etc, They have ivermectin. They have dog bones. They usually have bunnies. The carry local honey, local salsa and a myriad selection of local things. The ladies that work here are super nice and helpful. Oh yes, they have farm fresh eggs. And diatomaceous earth. And . . ."
"I dunno..While this nursery has a nice selection of flowers, annuals and garden vegetables, the prices are too high for my liking. Not TLC high, but it's still up there. If you can afford the higher prices, I suppose I recommend them. Grounds are very clean and organized. Plants look very healthy. Vegetable starts are large and hardened off, but $3.99 each (I pay $1.25-1.99 at competitors). The family running this place is very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind, these are not the same folks as Davison's Nursery on Memorial. They are related by blood but no longer affiliated. While selection is superior here, prices are much better on Memorial. If you are looking for landscaping perennials, shrubs and trees, go elsewhere since there is little of that here."
"This place was amazing! I needed a vessel for my air plants and found them on google. It was the cutest shop. They have vessels, plants, stuff to make terrariums. Even though I am a plant novice I felt very comfortable and welcome there. The woman working was very kind and helpful. She helped me pick out my vessel and explained some care tips for my plants. It was a great experience. Everything seemed reasonably priced and there was a great selection of little plants to start with and some bigger options. She also mentioned they have classes on plants and then to make terrariums that would work well for a friend group or date and I am super excited to give that a shot."
"My friend and I are plantaholics and our usual goto was a disappointment. We live in Edmond but had heard wonderful things about this greenhouse and decided to make a day trip. BEST DECISION EVER! We absolutely LOVED IT! This will be our new goto spot! They have numerous greenhouses and outdoor plant displays! We found so many plants from both of our wish lists! The prices are very reasonable.I have not seen better selection anywhere else in Oklahoma! We are in LOVE! Even her two girls loved the coy pond and have already been talking about making another trip. We left very happy and will be returning very soon! The staff was wonderful as well. If you're not into fresh greenery, they also have fake plants and numerous pots for sale, along with blown glass and fountains. This is the spot for anyone who wants to add tranquility to their life!"
"This Yukon, Oklahoma nursery seems a little daunting to find at first -- I mean, I'm not used to going out this far west on Wilshire!Bob Scott Nursery offers a truly premium selection of day lilies, but I've also found wonderful viburnum varieties here, as well as trees and assorted perennials. The quality of the products offered really shines through at this nursery, and the kind and attentive staff never fails to amaze me.Well worth the drive westward!"
"What a wonderful place to purchase happy, healthy, beautiful flowering plants as well as vegetables and herbs!!! So many choices for color, patio pots, hanging baskets, yard art, gifts for gardeners; You name it, it's here. Just off the 35, easy to find, easy to park. Plenty of wagons to load up all the lovelies. Don't let rainy weather or scorching sun keep you from visiting; the shopping areas are covered! Do stop in; you won't be disappointed!"
"Great place for plants that you won't find at the normal places. He specializes in variegated plants it seems. Some fairly priced, others priced in to the multiples of $100's. The owner is a great guy, he knew we were coming through town on a day that he is usually closed, tho he offered to let us in. Came home with four plants. Great place. Small and tidy. Nothing real elaborate with the shelving and cabinets. Tho it's done up very well."
"Earl's Nursery offers a great selection, and they always provide helpful, friendly service. They know which plants work well in different environments, and they are happy to point you in the right direction. I have always been pleased with the quality of plants I have purchased from Earl's. I recently did an online order and drive through pick up. This is a small establishment, but they have adapted so they could keep customers supplied during this time where most things are shut down. I am glad about that because plants and flowers make me happy when I can't get out and about as usual! I highly recommend Earl's for your gardening needs."
"I got married here in the lovely conservatory, and it was beautiful. It was very intimate and special. Richard was a pleasure to work with. He and his staff went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was gorgeous and stress free. My bouquet was so beautiful! When I get my pictures back from the photographer, I will post one. I loved that my husband and I did not have to decorate at all, the event space is beautiful enough on its own, and there is an amazing waterfall draped in flowers that I'm sure made for some wonderful pictures. He let my brother and maid of honor do their thing the day before and day of the wedding, so they could make sure our wedding was just right in the final hours. We brought in a sound system, our own caterers, officiant, and cake designer. I loved that we got to make everything uniquely ours, and it wasn't a "one stop shop" kind of wedding venue. If you're looking for a small, beautiful, affordable wedding venue, please consider Morrison's. We were so happy, and I can't wait to use their floral services in the future."
"Come here all the time for dog food and gardening needs. Owner is sometimes a little stressed when he's short-staffed, but always happy to assist and answer questions. Plants I buy from there always do well. Recommended."
"Three or four generations of my family have shopped here now, and with good reason. The selection of trees, shrubs, seeds, perennials, and annuals is broad, as is the amazing array of fountains, pots, garden tools, chemicals, grass seed, and garden accessories.Annie is particularly cheerful, knowledgeable, and helpful whenever we drop in. (We can't sing her praises highly enough.)Major thumbs up."
"This is a family owned florist and they are just the nicest, sweetest people! They have helped me out in a pinch on several occasions when I've needed something short notice and have always been nothing but gracious! I would highly recommend them!"
