Brennah L. "That tea is pretty good. The boba doesn't taste like other boba places. I can't quit put my finger in the texture difference. The boba sort of tastes a little more firm and not as bouncy if that makes sense. Tasty Thai tea was good and was $5.99. The service is prompt and we seated at a booth by the window. The table was nice and clean. I like the faux marble table tops and wood walls. The paper/cloth lamps above each table are nice and add to the ambiance. I got the pork black mushroom noodles and they are probably the best noodles I've ever had. They are chewy and when you look at the noodles, you can tell they are hand made by the variations in the size. When you look back in the kitchen you can see someone pulling the noodles out very long and it s cool site to see. I love that they have the kitchen open, so you can watch what they do. The only thing that would make that mushroom pork noodle dish better is to have the cucumber in thicker pieces so there's a little crunch or freshness. The thinly sliced cucumbers turn too soft too quickly. Other than that it was the perfect dish. I tried my boyfriend's dish and it had a spicy kick to it and he really liked his dish. The bathroom situation is pretty dire. There's one toilet for women and one for men. Wish they had more, but at least they were clean."

Vannessa R. "Like most Mondays i crave Thai food. Unfortunately my restaurant I would go to is closed.. luckily i found ZABB!! My food was delicious the pad see ew was well flavored, sometimes i can find it to be very greasy. I didn't have this issue at all, it tasted so fresh. The spring rolls omg the best I've ever had! You can tell these are made with love no pre made stuff. You can actually see black pepper specs inside. Super yummy a little spicy, which wasn't a problem just dip it in the sauce. Our waitress was very attentive, the staff as a whole is very friendly. As a staff passed the table they would say hello and ask if everything is ok. Upon leaving i heard at least three thank you for coming. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and spacious. The ambiance was very quiet. This building is in the same parking lot of 7 eleven. I would HIGHLY recommend 10/10 i will be back!"

It's only $11 and you get to choose 2 entrees from an array of sushi rolls, hibachi, or other entree. Plus you get miso soup and a house salad!! I got the shrimp tempura roll and chicken katsu. The portions were great, especially for the price- i was expecting half portions. You can't go wrong with shrimp tempura and the roll was HUGE! The katsu was crispy, but still tender- and the katsu sauce had a nice kind of bbq tang compared to other katsu sauces I've tried. The ginger salad was so good, one of the best I've ever had. I went on a solo lunch, but the ambience would be great for a date night. They have a full bar as well if you'd like a drink with your meal! My server was very kind and had great pacing throughout my meal. I never felt rushed, nor did I find myself waiting for my server. I'll definitely be returning with friends!"

Katie G. "I have a new boss these days, and if I could write a Yelp review, she'd get five stars for introducing me to Twenty Pho Hour and their pho alone (also 5 stars cause she's great, and no, she's not reading this, I just like saying it!). Let's talk about my reaction. I had seen the restaurant online already, because their interior is AESTHETIC my friends. If you want an Insta-worthy spot to eat at? Here it is. Here they are. I spent half of my meal just exclaiming in excitement over everything, because it's all so cute. INCLUDING the fact that they sell drinks in heart shaped and teddy bear shaped bottles. First, important to know, it's pay first, more like a chain fast food spot. Honestly, that makes it perfect for shared meals. I hate splitting checks because my math skills aren't as good as my eating skills. The menu is large and easy to read, right when you walk in. They also have a small fridge with their bottled drinks (they also have water, soda, and other drinks!), where I grabbed the last teddy bear, filled with a matcha-y milk. SO good. I love an appetizer, so I ordered the Lao Pork egg rolls. OMG were these delicious. They had plenty of filling without being overfilled, were piping hot, and were just sooo good. Five stars all the way, but they were absolutely outshone by the true star of the show: the pho. Now, I know, I know. I got a premium bowl and yes, it was not cheap. Yes, you can get cheaper pho, and yes, I'm sure you're sure the pho place you get yours from is better. All I hear is blah, blah, blah because prior to my visit, I was a "pho is fine but I don't go out of my way for it" to "THIS IS THE GREATEST THING EVER AND I AM A PHO CONVERT". The "Black Ox" is...mind blowing. Out of this world. Worth every penny and more. In my opinion, this is the best bowl of pho in the city. The broth smells divine, tastes amazing, and I could eat it alone and be satisfied. So much flavor! Then, the meat: eye round steak (very thin slices of beef) and ox tail. Ox tail is one of my favorite things. This was fall off the bone tender, and fatty in that perfect, buttery way. Round steak? Perfectly cooked and tender without falling apart, just ideal. Amazing. AH-MAZ-ING.Finally: service. SO friendly and polite. Food came out so fast and was steaming hot. If I worked nearby, I'd be here every day and go broke for that ox tail. One of my favorite things is that they put out takeout containers, so you don't have to ask. You just get what you need, and off you go. Y'all, just...it is COLD out. Now is the time. Please, go eat here. Get the Black Ox pho. And don't bother thanking me. Just...enjoy it for me."

Tuan P. "Thai Street Eats is the other half of Panang. The two restaurants share the same kitchen. Panang has the traditional Thai foods. Thai Street Eats is the street food side and I absolutely loved it. In general, I love this type of food though. Don't make the mistake thinking street foods are served in small portion. Part of this is true, as the portion size is smaller but there are PLENTY of food with each serving.I LOVED the angel wings. These are stuffed fried chicken wings. I haven't seen stuffed fried chicken wings at many places. This is one of the few restaurants where they are being served. The stuffed wings were ridiculously huge and super delicious. I was essentially full after eating the two wings. The sweet and sour sauce and the salad that came with the dish were also excellent. I was too full to finish the Thai Fried Chicken Rice after eating the angel wings. I loved the taste of the ginger rice. They must have cooked the rice in ginger or something to give the rice a ginger taste. I feel like you have to like ginger to like this rice. The fried chicken was very crunchy. This dish came with two sauces, the old favorite sweet and sour and the peanut butter sauce, as well as a cup of soup. Ordered two dishes and absolutely loved both. The only criticism was the service. A little slow and people were waiting for refills. This was partly due to having only one server but if you get by this aspect, you might love this restaurant too. I know I did."

We dined in the other night for the first time and got to try their special menu items. I tried the khao soi, and my partner tried their sukiyaki in soup. Both dishes were delicious and flavorful, although I wouldn't mind more spices to the khao soi! We also got their calamari appetizer which was quite a lot for the two of us. The service was very quick, and they were extremely friendly. We came in as a group of 10 people and had a great experience. 1. Shark fin with crab meat soup was good similar to other Chinese restaurants. If you have to get a soup, this is the one to get. 2. Chicken chow mein - I have never been a big fan of this dish, mainly of the "gooey" taste. It was alright so I guess if you like chow mein, you might enjoy it. 3. Chicken and salty fish fried rice - it was great. Had a different flavor which made it unique. This is the fried rice for adventurous individuals. 4. Chicken salad - my least favorite dish. Cold salad with a sour and salty taste. It was just not for me. 5. Fried fish - my favorite dish. They fish tasted great and fresh. There were a lot of bones so eating this would require some works. 6. Oysters with ginger and green onion - this was cooked oysters (steamed) with seasonings. It was good. Some oysters were fresher than others. 7. Lobster with ginger and green onion - it was delicious. Come on, it was lobster. 8. Snow pea tips stud fry - the salt was spotty. Some parts of the dish were really salty whereas some were not. It was a top pick for a vegetable stir fry. 9. Water spinach stir fry - the other top pick for a vegetable stir fry dish. It was great. Hard to recommend one over the other. Either one would be a good choice. Service was good. Restaurant was slower than the one on the northwest side of town."

The katsu was good, but the sauce tasted like A1. It would have been nice to have a glaze over the meat or something. The udon noodles were tender and soft, shrimp was bursting with flavor, but I didn't care for the sauce. It tasted bitter, like perhaps it was burned or overheated. I had intended to stop by last week, but instead tried another nearby Thai restaurant's PSE. I arrived just before 1 p.m. and their were still a few tables occupied. Everything is clean, but dated. It obviously served a different cuisine prior to Suphattra's. The owner seems very friendly. When I asked whether I should choose pad thai or PSE, he said both are good, but he nearly always goes with the pad see ew. When he brought it to the table, I was surprised my the large portion in comparison with the price. It was so good, but I was stuffed before I could finish it off. I ordered the hand pulled noodle stir fry with chicken and my boyfriend got the black ramen. My boyfriend's ramen came out way before my food. I wish they came out at the same time, so we could enjoy them together. My dish came out about 5-7 minutes after his ramen and it was so good! It was huge to say the least. I could only eat a portion of my plate and I'll have enough for lunch tomorrow! The noodles were chewy and flavorful and the dish has lots of veggies! I really enjoyed that dish! I decided to try a dessert that was a steamed bun fried maybe? And condensed milk to dip in. I've had this dish before when I lived in Hawaii and it was a little different when I had it. The buns came out steamed nice and pillowy soft at the other place, here it is a little different like they are fried or dipped in a sugary substance.
