"Do not underestimate this restaurant from the outside because it packs some real flavor! There is plenty to choose from off their menu no matter what your diet is. You might want to do some research before you go on what the dish actually is unless you're really familiar with this kind of cuisine. There are so many things I want to try so I will be back for more."
"After reading the Yelp reviews, we decided to have their Saturday buffet lunch. The restaurant offers buffet lunch Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Very friendly greeter who showed us to our table. There was an ample selection of food on the buffet table. The tandoori chicken was tasty but dry. The curry chicken tasted very sweet. I'm not a fan of sweet for savory food.I enjoyed the buffet, it gives you an opportunity to try a variety of tasty dishes."

"Taj - for me the best fresh authentic Indian food in Oklahoma City. Kudos to the owners - the delicious buffet food is never cold or lukewarm, always piping hot and a staff member is constantly wiping down the counters - making all the food looks so appetizing. ample seating whether it's for one person or 20 - friendly customer service ."
"Sizzle N Spice Kebab Grill serves up praiseworthy Pakistani food in unassuming strip mall in Edmond, OK. This spot is a recent find for me and I'll definitely be back. The flavors knocked my socks off. They have my go--to chicken tikka masala and cheese naan, but they have their own flavorful take that I am totally here for. Middle Eastern cuisine is one of my all time favorites that I just haven't been able to master in my own kitchen so I'm indebted to the chefs around OKC who can guide me through the culinary traditions + bold flavors of various regions of the Middle East. I'd say Sizzle N Spice Kebab Grill food is spicier than most others around town. I adored their Peshawari Chapli Kebab which was a recommended dish. It was a variation of a spiced and breaded beef patty. I loved it, but I haven't seen this anywhere else in town. My only opportunity for improvement would be the consistency of their menu across various outlets/platforms. Their website menu isn't comprehensive. Their menu hanging up on the wall at the shop doesn't list all of their available items either. They offer a paper menu in store that lists their entire menu of options. I wish we could have that listed on the website. It would be helpful. September 2021"
"Stopped here for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Very nice greeting upon arrival and instant service. Clean inside. Small but very diverse buffet. I thoroughly enjoyed it. They even brought around fresh naan bread to the tables once it was ready."
"Food and service were both great! We were there on NYE and it was busy but service didn't suffer any. Recommend their hummus for an appetizer. Something lots of places screw up somehow. Kebabs were all very flavorful also."
"I've never been in person, but I regularly order delivery of their butter chicken and garlic naan and it is always amazing!"
"Whoa, can't believe I haven't updated this review since my second visit. This place is INSANE.The food is literally A++.Every other aspect is a solid F------------ (that's 12 minuses). But it's still somehow worth it.I've had curry all over the country and in some of the best places in Europe and Manna has them all beat. I've had Indian friends compare it to their mother's cooking. I had a friend recently go to India and said Manna was distinctly better (though she might not have gone off the beaten path). I've converted dozens of people to Manna who were previously loyal to xyz-okc-indian-place.Let me be plain, Manna has RUINED all other Indian food for me. I used to enjoy Sheesh Mahal and essentially every Indian place, but now they all taste like watered down gruel from an orphanage. I literally CAN'T eat it. That's no knock on Sheesh. They are FAR MORE accessible to newcomers and FAR MORE capable as a business entity. They destroy Manna in EVERY possible way except for... food. And unfortunately, that part is not even close. A step down from Sheesh, you have places like Taj, Gopuram, etc. These places have catered their dishes to casuals and have become a parody of themselves.MANNA DON'T CARE ABOUT CASUALS. MANNA CATERS TO NOBODY.Manna is like a smoking hot chick who knows it and puts forth absolutely zero effort in other areas. Her life motto is obnoxiously "you either love me and hate me," and while an annoying axiom, you know she's right. The place is a disaster, in every conceivable way. The son who takes the orders is quite literally insane and I've heard stories from basically anyone who's come into contact with him that would concern even the most reckless of risktakers. They completely ignore their phone, so you have to drive there, completely disregard the "45 minute" estimate they give you, and drive back 90 minutes later to get your food. 50% of people will be so disturbed by one thing or another, they will never return, horrified by the experience. These are the lucky ones. The other 50% who allow Manna to enter their soul are ruined, addicted, enslaved, for life. Caveat emptor. May the buyer beware.Butter Chicken, Saag Paneer, Chili Chicken, Vegetable Korma are all literally perfect, life-changing dishes. I'm sure there's more, but I can't live without those so never get the chance to experiment by ordering something else.I used to live right next door to this place and I could smell their heavenly spice cloud from my house. The flavor is so explosive, rich, and decadent that I can't eat here more than once every month or two, but it's the only transcendent food experience in the city. It's probably not my objective favorite place in the city, but it is by far the most spiritual experience. You can be the most staunch atheist on the planet and one bite of that Butter Chicken will rocket-launch you on a straight path to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.Looking forward to seeing you at Church."
"Service and the food is great! Love the biryani and the vegetarian options. Every time I come to Norman, I make sure to eat here."

Let's do Sheesh Mahal again! No higher praise can be given than having a place coming to mind over and over again when you are trying to decide where to go for lunch. Note that I am reviewing the food here. Sheesh Mahal is a low cost spot to get really great food. It is not "fine dining" with white table cloths, 18/10 flatware, etc. It is my go to location for amazing flavor and some of the best naan I have ever had.The food is incredible. I need to use the QR code to access the phone based menus. The single page laminated menu doesn't give me enough detail to know what I am ordering, but the digital menu is very helpful. You are served hot tea and water upon arrival. The food comes out quickly and is always hot and spiced to spec. The people are very friendly and helpful if you are not sure what to try on a first visit. Go and try it. Know that you will be eating with plastic ware and foam plates, but the food you will be having is some of the best in the central plains!

This place is so tasty. The naan bread is a must. On this visit the lamb vindaloo was the best. It had a great, spicy flavor and the lamb was tender. The chicken tikka masala was good but not nearly as tender as the lamb. The steamed chicken momo was good, but I think they needed to be steamed a bit longer. They still had a nice flavor. The service is friendly. All the food comes out quickly. If you do order steamed momos, they take at least 20 minutes but everything else is quick and hot.

If someone was to serve me any of the food from Taj's buffet line, I wouldn't be able to tell that I am having buffet. That's right! Their food is THAT good. I have been to Taj several years before with classmates from school. For some reason, I couldn't remember much about it...must be the fleeting of memory. I am so glad I stopped by today for lunch. Everything at Taj tasted so delicious. For it being a buffet is mind blowing. My favorites were the chicken tikka masala, eggplant masala, chili chicken, and fried fish. The chicken at Taj was soft as butter and the masala was so creamy. If you like eggplant like I do, then you will LOVE the eggplant masala. Best Indian buffet in Oklahoma...period!Monday-Friday lunch buffet $14.99, dinner $15.99Saturday all day buffet $16.99

Wow! What a gem of a find! My friends who are locals brought us here! And what an experience! This is a beautiful family business. My friends recommended the owners choose five dishes for us since we were a party of five. When we told Mo, the owner, his eyes lit up and his excitement describing the entrees and the stories behind them, got us all really intrigued and filled with anticipation. Straight to the point, the entrees didn't disappoint AT ALL. They all had wonderful flavor. I liked the degrees of spiciness - not too overpowering! We had an off-the-menu special entree, the Chicken Haleem. It is best served with the Paratha. Soo delicious! My mouth is watering as I'm typing this. We also had the Goat Karachi, the Channa Masala, the Beef Nahari and I think we had the Seekh Kabab Karahi. The Chicken Haleem, Goat Karahi and the Channa Masala were my favorites! We had the plain and garlic naan breads along with a ton of seasoned rice.To drink I ordered the Chai Latte and my friend ordered the Masala Chai and another the Mango Lassi. Everything was made to order like you've visited their home. The food comes out hot and fresh and cooked right in their kitchen for the best quality possible. A lot of effort and care goes into every dish. So please don't expect your order to be ready in 5 minutes. This isn't a heat-it up fast food type of place. I recommend taking time to ask questions, get to know them. Ask about the amazing artwork on the wall that Tanya, the main chef, created. She's not just an artist in the kitchen but an artist of wallhangings and decor. Coming here is so much better than the typical eat out place where you barely talk to the people you're with because you're on the phone or whatever the whole time. So nice to get out of my own world and make connect with people. Anyway, I hope to dine here again when I'm back in Oklahoma visiting. It would be worth it. May God bless this business more and more.

We visited for the weekday lunch buffet, and while the food was hot and fulfilled my cravings for Indian, it was far from best in class. A few notes: - Food selection was wide, and included chicken biriyani, naan, rice staples along with goat curry, tikka masala, fried fish and my favorite, palak paneer (paneer cheese in spinach)- Could feel their cost savings in their food selection. For example, their pakora was only spinach. So, fried spinach leaves For the cost of a $14 lunch, it filled my belly but I was disappointed that there weren't more popular Indian buffet options like butter chicken, aloo gobi (cauliflower and potato), samosas. Probably won't be back.

This is an excellent restaurant, the food and service are outstanding. My server (Jasmine) was very courteous and attentive. I ordered the lamb chop platter, and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection. They were very tender and had amazing flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Owned and ran by such a lovely family. Everything is made with high quality ingredients. Recipes are wholesome and not too greasy. Love the variety of the menu. Been coming for years and have spent a few Christmases and Thanksgivings dining here. Today is Christmas and I decided to order Doordash. Was craving a little spice and decided to order the Gobi Manchuriyan - fried cauliflower with a sweet & tangy sauce. Crispy, and not overly seasoned. For main I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala. Comes with rice and added a side of the garlic chili oil naan. Looooove dipping the naan in the sauces. The sauce is not too buttery and chicken is moist. Happily stuffed!! Had to stop myself from eating the whole thing, totally addicting! See the pictures, this place is my favorite for Indian cuisine in OKC. I recommend dine in of take out. You won't be disappointed!!!

Yum! Mouth is happy and belly full.Manna is a long hours hole in the wall that is all about the food. ...and the food is amazing. The atmosphere, well it is functional. The restaurant has tables and chairs. What more do you need when the food is an entire experience? Once you take a bite you'll be transported and totally present in flavors you're experiencing. Food is made to order so don't expect to be in and out in 10 minutes. Know that your going to have a wait time even on to go orders. Expect it and be patient. Patience is a virtue that brings great rewards. We ordered one spicy and one savory dish. Spicy was Kadahi Chicken which is a more traditional style curry full of cumin with bell pepper and onion. Kadai is a must dish at any Indian restaurant that offers it. Flavors are strong and textures various. This is a dish to take a bit of and let it dance around on your tongue as you swallow and savor. It tasted great on naan and with rice and transported me into the present moment and each flavor i was experiencing. The butter panner is the savory dish and a savory loving pallete will be satisfied with it. Butter is a prominent flavor in this dish and bites are best paired with rice or naan. The texture is smooth almost like a thick savory soup of other dimensional savory flavor. What makes this butter panner stand apart is the prominent butter flavor usually it is more muted and the dish is not as savory. Garlic naan was slightly chared as it should be because it is cooked in a tandoori oven. The garlic was a prominent flavor. Edges were crispy leading to a spongy and soft texture that made for the perfect food shovel. Bonus: Everything came out hot and together which made it more impressive that it was all hot. Some notes: Plates and cutlery were disposable and some other reviewers seem upset at that. I see a family ran place where everything is made form scratch and to keep the food quality up they save time by using disposable utlensils and plates. This I can look past. Service is minimal but it works. You order food and get food when it is ready. No complaints. I don't expect a small family business to run like a chain restaurant. I expect unique and exceptional food and that's what Manna offers. I was able to meditate in the wait time. TV is loud. Did not enjoy that but whatever it did mess with my meditation some. They did not have change, I tip anyway. Use a card, bring exact change or tip. This seems to be a frequent occurrence from other reviews and is not a huge deal just round up and let it go. I did remove 1 star because the cleanliness could be improved significantly. I can look past many nuances such as minimal service, 1 menu, lack of change and disposable dishes. But cleanliness is essential in food service. Tables, walls, bathrooms and kitchens should be kept clean. The lack of cleanliness does leave room for the mind to wander into negative assumptions about a place that makes all its food from scratch to order and that is a true shame. As I've eaten in countless hole in the wall family restaurants I knew by looking at the woman cooking and the fact food was all cooked fresh that the food is likely safe. But as a customer I like to have that confidence from the moment I walk in the door not after making extra conscious observations. The fact I did not have that instant peace of mind leads to the removal of a star.I do think this place is worth trying if you can look past the environmental negatives. You can also order to go or use a delivery service and avoid the negatives all together. Take care and for my fellow foodies I encourage you to not judge all eateries or experiences with the same lense. Each experience is unique and deserves to be observed, anayalzed and experienced with a fresh clear lense. There are countless variables and when we put places in a box we lessen the experience for ourselves.

"I actually tried this little business last week when looking for some chicken curry to take to my friend/ doctor who had confessed he had never tasted curry (shock)! I asked the lady if I could have a small taste to make sure I liked it and she immediately complied. Loved the taste so I bought a serving and took it to him. I was impressed enough that when we were in Edmond yesterday, my husband and I chose the cafe for lunch. We both got the lunch plates which included a main dish, Biryani Rice and lovely warm and tender naan, all delicious! Now I must include a helpful hint to the owners...the presentation in the food in the pans behind the glass is not attractive! Improving this one thing might make a big difference! Overall we were impressed with the flavor, quantity, and value for the price! Neither of us could finish and brought the rest home for supper."
"The biryani was so good that I forgot about my issues with Saffron. Which, there were plenty of issues, but that biryani I had today was legit. I feel like I can gaslight myself into all sorts of abuse when you give me good food."
"I love Indian food, and as such, always have high expectations. Unfortunately, they aren't often met, but Gopuram absolutely exceeded them!We ordered several different curries, naan, and rice, as well as halwa.Every single curry was phenomenal. We had the Malai Kofta, which neither of us had ever had before. It was so creamy, and the dumplings were a perfect texture, but it wasn't too rich. I also ordered the paneer tikka masala, and it was dreamy. The only reason they are getting 4/5 is because when it comes to delivery, it takes FOREVER. But, as you'll notice, we still ate it. And we still order from there, we just anticipate the wait, and probably end up ordering more than we need...but that just means leftovers!I highly suggest them!"
"How can you not love a buffet?! This place is great. Granted I've been here before a few years ago and there were more options on the buffet, but that was before Covid. Their food is flavorful and the raita sauce is my favorite to put on many of the dishes they offer. It just makes the food taste even better. The tandoor chicken was cooked well. My favorite dish is the paneer dish with peas. I always look for that when I come here. The price for buffet is $13.99 as of July 31,2021 and the buffet is from 11am to 3 pm I believe. The employees were kind and courteous and very attentive to our tables needs. Great place to eat!"
"Food was 8/10 considering only my 2nd time really trying Indian food. I think it was savory and full of flavor, but rice was a bit cold and the potato cake more mushy than I imagined. Spicy butter chicken was so juicy and chicken tender but not falling apart, perfect the sauce is perfect alone with rice and naan bread! I had the curry chicken- favorite!!!!! Like a warm stew, I mix my rice inside and scoop with the naan bread! Not only finger licking good but so fun to eat! Service was quick and friendly and explained all the dishes I had questions about. There was nobody there dining sad bc it's such yummy food, there were more to-go ordersSmall clean dining area with big screen tv! I will definitely be back with my daughter to enjoy some lamb dishes! Authentic Indian and Pakistan food!!!! Give them a try"
"This is a new Indian/Himalayan restaurant and I found out about it via Instagram! I saw that people attended the grand opening posting pictures of momos and more, and had to make reservations. I booked dinner with a friend for a 7:30 pm slot on a Wednesday night. This restaurant is situated next to the Starbucks, Sushi Bar, and Texadelphia in Bricktown overlooking the Riverwalk in Bricktown OKC. There is plenty of free parking right next to the restaurant, but also parking that can be validated with a Clove Restaurant receipt - removing the $20 parking charge, which is nice! Luckily I was able to to park in the free parking. My friend parked in the overflow $20 parking lot but was able to get parking validated. The interior is beautiful and lots of comfortable seating. Service was friendly and the owner/manager came around after our meal and asked us how we liked the food/service. The staff was so friendly and patient with us. The hostess/waitress asked us upon arrival whether we wanted to sit at a table next to the windows or a larger booth area - we of course picked the booth seating because we knew we were going to order a LOT of food!Food: The flavor of the Himalayan dishes were outstanding. There are 3 levels of spiciness to choose from. My friend and I picked spicy level 3 which was perfect for us. -Appetizers-*Chilli Momo* we were debating on which momos to try and we definitely wanted to try these because momos are special to Nepalese/Himalayan cuisine. I'm happy with our selection - these are chicken momos tossed in a chili sauce with veggies including bell pepper and onion. It was satisfying and delicious. *Aloo Chilli* There was a common theme among the appetizers we picked - lots of veggies along with the main ingredient - so for this dish there were potatoes (aloo) tossed in chili sauce along with bell peppers. Very tasty as an app or even a side dish*Pakora* fried veggie fritters served with mint chutney and a sweet chutney - not my favorite - I'm used to chewier pakora, but it still had great flavor!*Lamb Goti Kabob* tasty little bites of lamb cooked like tandoori chicken served with raw white onions and a side of tikka sauce to dip. This was so good!-Main Dishes-*Chicken Biryani* my friend ordered this and it looked amazing - very authentic and not too oily, rice was cooked well and plenty of pieces of chicken.*Paneer Tikka Masala* like chicken tikka masala except with Paneer (cheese) - for this I ordered spicy level 2 and I could've done level 3, however it was very delicious, so creamy and the paneer pieces were cooked well. I like the flavoring of the tikka masala, they added some vegetables that were cooked down in this as well. The sauce consisted of pureed cashews and cream.*Chicken Tikka Masala* I mean...you can't go wrong with chicken tikka masala! My friend ordered this and said it was the REALLY GOOD!*Plain Naan & Garlic Naan* Absolutely delicious. So fresh and just the right amount of thickness. Came out piping hot and ready to dip!*Rice* the rice that came along with the dishes was just okay - I didn't like how it wasn't cooked very well. I liked my rice soft and fluffy and this rice was kind of hard.Drinks:*Mango Lassi* the mango lassi was refreshing and tasted fresh! The drinks came out first and we sipped it while eating our meals. It was the perfect compliment to our spicy dishes to cool down our tongues. Overall- I highly recommend this spot for a nice dinner with family/friends. The location is amazing and the food did not disappoint! Kudos to The Clove :)"
"Hands down the best curry I have ever had! I have ate curry all over the world and I never once thought the best curry would be at a gas station in OKC. I asked for spicy and I got just that. When ever I passthrough I'm definitely stopping here. Also the naan was outstanding as well."
"I know that nothing good lasts, as evidenced by... literally everything in the world right now. So, I'm already preparing myself for the inevitable disappointment, but as of this past Sunday, Rasoi has the best Indian buffet in town. It's best for a few reasons:1. Relatively limited options, so maybe a focus on quality over quantity?2. The quality is akin to homemade Indian food, so things like the Apollo Fish, Kadai Chicken, and Biryani all tasted like they were made thoughtfully as opposed to being churned out in absurd factory quantities to feed a bunch of fatties.3. It's only on the weekend, so maybe they have more time to be careful and thoughtful? Legitimately, everything they served was delicious and the best restaurant version of that thing to be had amongst the sea of trash Indian restaurants in town like Gopuram or Sheesh Mahal or Mt. Everest or... I dunno, take your pick of your favorite middling Indian joint that you love to go to when you say you love Indian food. I expect the quality to decline, or the price to go up. Or if we live in the worst timeline, the quality will decline AND the price will go up. But until that happens, I will be back. P. S. Surprisingly thoughtful and helpful service. P. P. S. Ambiance is the same. That is to say, there is no ambiance.P. P. P. S. (April 15, 2023 edit): welp, that took all of two weeks... Went back after the excellent first experience, and second time was a bunch of dishes that didn't make sense (South Indian + North Indian cuisine in themselves would be fine to mix and match if they had the appropriate food items to tie them together). Each day's buffet items seem to be random, so I guess, good luck?"
"Great food! We've ordered at work to eat family style and shockingly flavors were great and everything had its own distinct flavor. We got different naans, parathis, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and palak paneer. All tasty! Packaged well, but serving is on the smaller size. I would confidently say one entree per person or else people will be portioning out."
"Some of the best Indian food I've had. Yummy, quick, inexpensive, and very friendly staff. Simple menu with lots of made from scratch drinks and meals."
"Place was great, staff was nice and food was great. Butter chicken and garlic naan was awesome. Atmosphere was good. Definitely recommend"
"Had the buffet on a Friday evening. All was good, but the mutton and rice dish was a standout as was the okra and spinach dishes. Staff was very attentive. Only two non-Asian Indian/Pakistan tables. Family oriented. Will definitely go back."
"This place needs to be shut down! I really wanted to like it... went for lunch today and it took so long, I finally walked over and looked through the little window into the kitchen. What I saw was shocking! I watched my meal get knocked off the table, then watched her scrape the food off the floor and put it back into a new container!!! Of course I refused the order and demanded a refund! There are better and cleaner Indian restaurants in town."
