Melanie S. "I've been meaning to drop by this place since it's so close to my house. I have been looking for an office desk recently, and decided to try it out. However, I wish I would've taken a picture of how many items were in the store. WAY too many items, and things are just kind of piled on top of each other. I wasn't really sure what was in the back room, because it was so cluttered and everything was stacked on each other. The desks that I did find however I feel like were very very overpriced. There are still some great desks on Facebook or craigslist that are not $950 used. Overall, with the negative previous reviews, I always try to shop local, but not if the shop is not ran well or ran right. That definitely hurt my rating as well."

Hannah M. "I despise furniture shopping because it is almost like buying a new car... you walk into the store and people usually follow you like a hawk and try to up sell things. However, this wasn't the case when i walked in here.I was greeted yet not followed. Upon browsing in the store i found a sectional that i absolutely adored. I wish so badly it would have fit in my space but there was no possibly way for it length wise. I was shocked upon coming in here because i always thought they had furniture geared towards an older generation of people. I was pleasantly surprised. They carried everything from sofas, coffee tables, beds, chests, buffets, etc you name it. They do offer delivery to OKC metro for $90 i believe. It is locally owned which is also a huge plus for me. I'd much rather give my money locally than a large chain company. If you're shopping for furniture just stop by here you might be surprised. Vivid helped me with price quotes measurements etc. The only reason i didn't purchase here was due to the measurement of the two i was looking at. Bassett had more of what i was wanting. I will absolutely come back here when it's time to shop for beds or anything else. The friendliness of the employees was exceptional and you definitely got one on one help without having the harassment of buying."

The experience was akin to a craft fair but much cozier, quieter, and more low-key. I appreciated the freedom to walk around and be able to peruse items without the small talk. The variety was immense; items such as candy, chocolates, tea leaves, seasonal home decor and art, clothing, dish towels, candles and incense, crock pot dishes and dip mixes, and jewelry; and it just kept going! This is a nice place to do gift shopping and we enjoyed our time here."

They need to run promotions like bogo candles or something. Otherwise, the only thing they'll get out of me is $10 for a discounted old flannel. T shirts were $30 I think. That's fine, but they need to put things on sale sooner than 3 months after summer is over. The story is pretty cool, but the price tags are NOT."

We had a satisfying browse amongst the very varied offerings, including a typewriter that caught my eye. Owner said there were no specials, price-wise, so I didn't bother even trying to make an offer.Over the next few days I considered the typewriter, considered my budget, decided to return to see if it was still there. I'd arranged my finances, had cash in my pocket, and began to think the transaction was meant to be when I found the writing machine waiting for me.Carried it up front, began the "it couldn't hurt to ask" question about wiggle room on the price, while pulling out my money. It was disappointing and a surprise to be told "we don't accept cash. Card only."So that's that. While I'm well aware the "no cash" trend is gaining ground, it's still beyond annoying to be refused when you want to make a purchase with legal tender. And an antique shop of all places!Never mind. There are other typewriters out there, including - no doubt - one I'll be able to purchase with the green in my pocket."

Jeff M. "So Eileen may be one of the sweetest ladies that I've had the pleasure of interacting with in recent months. Sometimes you come across a certain person and the first thing that crosses your mind is, "I bet Thanksgiving at their home is such a blast."No? No one else thinks that? Okay, never mind...Our realtor connected us with Eileen, who stopped by our house to measure the windows, and then rather quickly got us pricing on some different options (e.g. blinds, wood shutters, etc.). Her prices were fantastic on every option we requested. But what really impressed me was how thorough she was after we decided to move forward. We had opted for the faux wood blinds, and she let me know that there were a number of different color options. I told her the color of the trim in our house (spoiler warning: the color was white), and she let me know that she had multiple variations of white (or off-white) for the blinds. So she offered to stop by the paint store to check out the specific white that we used, and then reached out to me again after to make a suggestion based on what she saw. Did she have to do that? Absolutely not. Especially considering she's all the way in Guthrie... Was I appreciative of the fact that she took the time to do that? Absolutely yes. We trusted her on the color suggestion. She told me when the blinds would be ready, and when they would be installed. I think it was all of a week. Maybe a week and a couple days? And then we walked into the house, and the blinds were installed, and they look great. I don't really know what else to say... She delivered as promised. And as a bonus, she was a pleasure to interact with. Obviously this is the kind of purchase that we don't plan to make often so I'm not likely to deal with Eileen again any time soon, but I do know that she will be our first choice if/when I'm in need of blinds/shutters again."

Jando S. "It's really hard not to love Plenty Mercantile. It is as unique of a store that I've seen and a noble concept in sustainability, story-telling, and a truly versatile business in the heart of Automobile Alley in downtown OKC. After learning their story, I can see why the community is so enthusiastic to support them. The high ratings are most certainly merited and I'm most definitely a fan. They are committed to providing items that in some way are potentially locally made, non-toxic, organic, philanthropic, recycled, benefitting marginalized groups and are generally good for the planet. Every item they have has a history behind it and they want folks to know the back story of said item and the potential that comes from purchasing it and supporting the cause. This is a kind of awareness that most retail businesses are never interested in showcasing, let alone supporting. This kind of transparency is honestly quite refreshing. In addition to the store, they have a venue space in their rooftop and warehouse. They list the rent prices for occasions directly on their website so there's no surprises and the spaces are lovely. Dubbed the "The Venue at Plenty" it's a destination for local events and special occasions. I've attended an event or two up here and have loved how customizable the spaces are.The good vibes I get from Plenty are reasons why I continue to support their mission in making this world a better place, one item at a time."

LaDonna G. "Review #119 (Good Earth Rocks Gallery)Location: 824 N Broadway Ave, OKC, OK 73102. On the corner of N Broadway and the east side of NW 8th Street. One of the OKC Streetcar stops/platforms is directly in front of the gallery. It's across the street from the bike shop.Parking: There are angled parking spaces on the north side of the Bldg on 8th Street. You can park in front or on the sides of the other Bldgs on N Broadway. There's a parking lot behind this Bldg on the east side, but I'm not sure if it's reserved for the workers and delivery trucks for the gallery and the businesses next door, or not. Hours: Mon: closed; Tues-Thurs: 11am-6pm; Fri-Sat: 11am-7pm; Sun: 1-5pmGallery: Good Earth Rocks (GER) Gallery has exactly that, a bunch of good rocks. They don't only have rocks per se, but also have various types of rocks; like crystals, gemstones, minerals, and fossils. Owner/Staff: I asked one of the women working, about the story behind the gallery and owner. The owner is Dave Clupper, a geologist who is usually gone digging up rocks and stones or sourcing them all over the world. He and his team hand pick stones from sites all over the world; usually sources natural state gemstones and minerals, raw and unaltered, with a few exceptions; and are ethically sourced. The other woman working was unpacking more rocks, crystals, fossils, etc.., so they had more inventory to display and sell later; so I'd love to go back and see what new items GER has.Inventory: GER has larger rocks and crystals made into home decor like lamps and small tables. They've also used stone to make bowls and other tableware. GER even has shark and dinosaur fossils. Beautiful petrified wood is made into furniture like tabletops. They have pretty jewelry made with the various rocks, gemstones, and crystals. Design: the gallery is in a red brick building with large glass windows all around. So it gets hot during the day with the sun shining in, and blinding you if you're looking at the display shelves towards the front entrance to the west, where the sun sets. If it's not the time of day with the sun shining in, then the rocks are easy to see, as the space is open and the lighting is bright due to all the ground to ceiling windows.Setup: When you walk in, you go to the middle of the gallery and they have round woven baskets for you to use as a shopping basket. You put your various small items: rocks, crystals, etc.., in the basket, you want to purchase.Smalls: GER has tables of "smalls" which are the smaller rocks, crystals, minerals, etc..., that are more affordable than the medium to larger rocks used as home decor. There is a large selection of smalls, mostly in the middle of the gallery. They are displayed in bowls, plates, and sectioned displays, with the prices and names of the stones. Jewelry: The jewelry selection and glass enclosed display shelves are to the south by the cash register. They have a "good earth" selection of stones and gemstones made into beautiful jewelry. Fossils: The fossils are mostly displayed in the back of the gallery. Others are along the walls and shelves up high, so the pesky people touchers can't touch the dinosaur and shark skeletons, and cause their decay from people germs.Website: GER also sells stones, decor, and jewelry on their website, if you don't want to or can't get into the gallery in person. They have brochures with all their information. Website: www.goodearthrocksgallery.com My experience: I had seen the gallery a week before while in the area running errands, but it was late and it was closed. Then when I was in the area for an appointment I had time to stop by afterwards. I looked at the plethora of items from the smalls (rocks, crystals, fossils) in the middle of the gallery, the medium to larger rocks and home decor along the outer displays close to the windows, the fossils to the back of the area, to the jewelry selection. I saw some beautiful amethyst rings and necklaces I liked; but I'm on a budget, so I'll have to work towards that goal. The two women working there were nice, helpful, and answered my questions. I did get four smalls (rocks/stones): one Amethyst Quartz Tumbled, one Amazonite Tumbled, one Jade Nephrite Tumbled, and one Blue Apatite Tumbled. They put them in a cute, silver, drawstring, mesh bag with silver and gold moons and stars on it. After that, I tumbled myself out of there, as I had lots of work to do. Ironically I went on 24 Aug 2022, so that is 8/24, and the Bldg address is 824 N Broadway. Yes I know, I'm weird about numbers and such.{Posted on Mon, 5 Sep 2022}"
