"Not a thorough job. He was at my place early june , the charge was low and he added 3lbs of freon, without doing a leak check, he didn't even measure the line temperatures just looked at the suction line pressures, is a hvac contractor supposed to do that? Very sloppy job, only thing we wants to do is to as many service call as possible and freon is quick money. No looking at machine specs checking superheat or subcooling. You may be experienced sir , however you must do a thorough job, and if you can't because of time then you shouldn't do service calls. Then he wanted to change my system, without even detecting the leak, he just guessed it was the evap coil and won't just change the coil, as it was a r22 system. I don't know how this guy has so many recs on Nextdoor , makes me not trust this site."

"When we decided to replace the gas floor furnaces window a/c units in our 80+ year old home with a geothermal system, we got quotes from three different companies in the area. Because the home had to be retrofitted with ductwork, this was more than your average HVAC installation. We went with Comfortworks because Chris gave us a definite price. The other two indicated the cost could go up depending on how much ground water had to be removed & other possible extra expenses. The entire job took about two weeks, which included having vents installed in the floors, ductwork installed in the crawlspace under the house, installing the Climate Master system inside the house, and installing a new electric hot water heater that ties in to the geothermal system. The installers arrived on time and kept me informed of any delays or issues that cropped up. The cost was reasonable given the amount of work that had to be done and we're extremely happy with end result."
