"Great food and service, perfect Sunday brunch. The Biscuit Debris was excellent, definitely worth the stop when in OKC!"
"Sid's is the home of the smashed onion burger and it was tasty! The service was great and very friendly. The location is very small, as I counted a small number of tables inside but they do have a long counter you can sit at and watch them make these burgers fresh to order! There's also outside (air conditioned!!!) enclosed seating as well as some outdoor tables. Very cute spot. Definitely check it out if you're in El Reno!"

"This place looks like a hole in the wall and it is. It's also a great diner. The name says it simply and that how the food is cooked. I judge a breakfast place on how I order my eggs. If I say over medium and they don't know or look at me funny then I just say over easy and I get over medium. This place knew. Service was great. The decor was dated and old but I like the rustic look. Plus it's in Norman Oklahoma and that's how many places are. The food was really good and felt fresh. Eggs were cooked perfect. The link sausage had that skin that pops when you bite down and was flavorful. The oatmeal was thick. Some people like it more runny or with milk but I enjoyed it. It felt like it coated your ribs. Overall you shouldn't pass through and not get breakfast there. Great place to get a simple home cooked breakfast."
"Genuinely makes me sad to leave Oklahoma w how good this place is. THE FOOD THE SERVICE THE VIBES?? HELLO??? Will be booking a trip back just for the milkshake(Peep the diff outfits bc we came here multiple days lol)"
"Last Sunday, we took our extended family here after church. There were 9 of us so I got to see a lot of different dishes. They all looked tempting, especially the egg Benedict. The bacon is nice and thick. I can't wait to return and see if they taste as good as they look. Service was perfect. The server took good care of us. I don't know how she managed to do such a good job with a table of 9. My brother in law knew about a perk they have for first time customers. If there's a first timer, the table gets a giant cinnamon roll. Bob told the server we had several first timers and she brought us one. It was enormous! Enough to satisfy 9. The atmosphere was that of a large busy diner. It's decorated nicely. I ordered my usual chicken fried chicken. I asked if the mashed potatoes were scratched or from a box. They are instant potatoes, but they offer baked potatoes as a side, so I got a baked potato and extra gravy and mashed that. The only disappointments I had were the rolls didn't taste as good as they looked, they gave us a whipped spread instead of butter, and the carrots weren't so good. The chicken fried chicken was huge. It was a thick chicken breast fried to perfection and it covered the plate. There was enough for my lunch the next day. You can't go wrong at the Silver Skillet."
"I awoke this morning far too early, the kind of early that comes from having circled the sun about 50 times. It was 4:30AM. Some of you will understand... definitely too early after going to bed sometime after midnight. Usually, I'd just go back to sleep, but this morning, my mood oddly resonated with the Amy Winehouse song: "You Know I'm No Good."It's June 5th, 2024, and for the past two months, I've been mildly shell-shocked by this spring's string of tornadoes. A little rattled even, because I'm not used to tornadoes, having come to OKC from Southern California for work, temporarily staying in my camper with my two cats at an RV park. But the song resonated for some reason... was it because of the naders? Maybe it's the unease of not knowing if the next anvil cloud would throw down baseball-sized hail through my vintage 1960 camper and get my cats while I'm at work? Maybe it's because my damn lawyer just sent me the draft of my divorce papers from my wife. Yeah that one's probably it.Sorry, if I've digressed... this is a restaurant review after all.I've been mildly addicted to Sunnyside Diner's Avocado Toast ever since I discovered it two weekends ago. What I mean is, ever since that first time, I keep musing back to that first moment when I drove my knives through the middle of it and it gushed out the most beautiful molten orange egg yolk. It was curious because most eggs these days are yellow, not orange. The orange of a Coronado sunset. It's constructed of sourdough toast, shmeared with fresh avocado, perfectly cooked bacon slices, with piping hot orange over-easy eggs wilting a thin bed of arugula, topped with the most delightful pickled sweet red onions. So this morning, when I woke up too early in that mild funk, a video clip played in my head... the bursting orange Coronado sunset-eggs of Sunnyside Diner's Avocado Toast, and it became my mission to get it. It's nearly perfection and Sunnyside Diner should be proud of it."
"We're so great with our two baby girls. We love coming here and love the staff. So fun and comfortable"
"I love this local diner. The staff is the friendliest staff that I've ever come across. I have to spend some time in Edmond while my kid is attending a class at UCO and I go here to have some breakfast and hang out. The servers are all stellar! They tend to remember what I had to eat and drink the last time and are always genuinely happy to say hello and chat, and this is something I try appreciate. My favorite things I've had to eat on the menu are the biscuits and country gravy, the Classic Benedict."
"Always love sunny side for a fast and easy breakfast. The service sometimes takes a little bit but allows you to catch up with your company. I appreciate that you can order regular breakfast but also burgers and vegan items if that is what you'd prefer. Always a good time here"
"The food and price was amazing. I was looking for a local restaurant to visit versus a chain while my daughter tried out for cheer at a nearby college. This definitely has to be a local favorite because every table was full and a wait outside. I will definitely come back if she chooses to attends. I love Yelp!"
"Food was really good and price is very reasonable. Service was really slow but it was the day after Christmas so it was to be expected. Our server was friendly and tried her best to make sure we were taken care of."
"Excellent hamburger and the french fries are seasoned perfectly. Everyone is always pleasant when you go in. And their food exceeds my expectations every time I order something."

This is my first time at Sunnyside Diner. Mostly because I'm not a huge diner fan, but tried it anyway. Walked in and the place was clean, service was kind and we were immediately seated. The guy came to take our order, which he got completely wrong, but he was kind about getting it corrected! Our correct order finally came out and boy was it freaking delicious. The chicken fried steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Maybe the best chicken friend steak I've ever had! I also love have they offer Afro Pop (black owned soda company) and they have freshly made pies! Definitely recommend this place for a nice meal!

This place is a historic treasure, and just like stepping into a T I M E M A C H I N E or time warp going back to the 50s-60s. Very cool posters of James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, 50s diners, and other emblems of that era adorn the walls. The chicken fried steak (I believe their signature dish) was excellent and I got the okra as a side. The lemon meringue pie was delish, and the substance they used to create the meringue is fascinating. Also the ice cream is not bad. Service was excellent, from a very friendly waitress that was easy to talk to. Definitely a must-visit spot when you are in Tulsa!

Tons of food offerings. Breakfast, entrees, burgers. I got a breakfast dish. Spouse got chicken fried chicken. Crowded, pleasantly noisy diner atmosphere. Even though we were a party of nine, Stephanie took excellent care of us, keeping waters and coffee full.

Food was awesome and tasted fresh. I had the chicken and biscuit sandwich and it was some of the best hand breaded chicken I've had in a while. The eggs were also farm fresh eggs which is always a win.

Wow. What a great find! The servers and hostess were a hoot! Very energetic and fun people. And the food!! I had to try the SOS in biscuits. I was raised with SOS being made with chipped beef, but theirs is made with ground beef. The order was huge! I could only eat half! My friends had some amazing looking meals as well. We shared a wonderful cinnamon roll! Definite coming back!

This is, for me, the best place to go for breakfast out in all of Edmond. Everything is well prepared and served by competent and warm waiting staff. I am particularly happy with the breadth of the menu. On top of a large and good selection of classic diner fare, they also have a large plant-based section to the menu, making it a very inclusive place to go with friends and family. Finally, pricing is quite affordable, with plates starting at $6.

"This place is one of my favorites in Tulsa. I have never had a bad experience here and it has the best chicken n waffles I've had anywhere hands down. The service is always great, and prices are even better!"
"Yummy- food is good! Service is good! Overall a good place to eat when you are hungry! They are quick, fulfilling and happy to have you patronize."
"Wow. This place. It's the best breakfast around. Comfortable and the servers are a lot of fun. It's my new regular."
"Spent a week in Tulsa on business and had breakfast there every morning. Traditional diner with extensive menu , great food and friendly service."
"Tulsa burger review. Flo's burger diner Tulsa. First visit. The Burger could have been 5/5 but heavy handed on each one with mayo/mustard. The Buns, meat, vegetables all were perfect in taste and quality/quantity. The Onion rings were 5+ and reminded me of the old Tony Romas onion ring loaf, so good. Chilli on the tots however was a 0 outta 5. Chili took the wind outta my sail real quick. Being from Texas, Chili is important to me and maybe I'm over critical but I'd love the opportunity to fix this chili recipe. The place is clean and witnessed the workers cleaning after customers left, however the decor booths/tables make it appear dirty its not. The prices and choices are great. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Music was classic 60s and 70s rock. The burger bar in Tulsa has been set, now on to the next. Rating; Burger 9.2 Sides 7.0"
"Always Always Always Awesome oops my review needs to be at least 85 characters! Ok then... Always Always Awesome for the second time"
"Food was delish had the tropical omelet and home fries nice and crispy, soft pancakes!!! Cook is on it!!$13 plate Service Sucky! Waitress forgot about us and didn't take order for like 7-10min and even told us she forgot about us. Then barely came back to check on us.Could do better or get more help.Clean and quick service once order was taken! Big portions for ya money"
"Came to Stillwater for game day. On the way home, was on the look-out for a local breakfast place. Saw this diner packed with cars around 10 am on a Saturday & had to stop. Fluffy scrambled eggs, hash browns cooked perfectly, homemade biscuits & bacon that I wish was more crispy. If you have a big group, you'll have to divide as the largest table is a 4 top booth. But you'll feel like you're sitting next to them -it's cramped inside and feels like you're in a train car. I did notice a malodorous smell as well as some degree of uncleanliness (water stains on the ceiling), hence the 3 stars. Open 24 hours."
"Great little place with fantastic service and good food! Been there a couple of times recently and was impressed all around. Wait staff is super friendly and on top of everything!"
"Dad told me about this place. It's just off the square downtown and it's a busy place for breakfast! The menu is in large letters so elderly eaters can read the menu without too much of a problem. The waitresses have a colorful variety of work t-shirts to wear. You can buy one if you like for $12!Dad suggested the Big breakfast. There is plenty there for $5.69. Reasonable. The waitress asked us if we wanted our biscuits grilled. Sure! When they arrived, it added a whole new dimension to biscuits and gravy! The frosty mug of orange juice, bottomless coffee and huge glass of ice water( complimentary water, I might add, the old-fashioned way!) Made my day.Good choice, dad! No wonder it is one of his favorite places to eat!"
"I ordered this through door dash so I have not visited the location yet. You may order your two eggs any way you like them so I requested over medium and that's exactly what I got. The biscuits and gravy were amazing, the hasbtowns were fresh and hot. I really enjoyed this breakfast."
"UPDATED REVIEW- original review at bottomThis update is going to be short. Everything was great as usual but I thought I should write to mention that they increased the prices of most of their items. The most important thing I wanted to write about was the fact that when we were at our table we saw and killed 4 baby roaches on our table and by the window area. So I took off two stars for that. First reviewThe outside may look a little rough, but don't let that stop you from the deliciousness that is waiting for you inside! If you are someone who judges places on the decor inside or outside, please look past that and try this place. If you are looking for delicious food on the cheap, this is the best breakfast place in okc! As soon as we pulled up I didn't have the highest expectations, but boy was I wrong. Yes as soon as you walk in you are transported back to the 70s with all the round leather-like booths everywhere and dated decor. I actually like booths better than tables and chairs, so I couldn't go wrong with where to sit. One waitress was waiting for us and a few other patrons were there eating. We picked out a round booth towards the back. Looking at the menu I was so shocked at the low low prices. How can I get an omelette with two sides for $5.50 and it be good? And the French toast was $2.75. Ok we have to try that. We each got a dish and then also got the French toast to share, because with those prices why not right? My coffee was brought out while waiting for my food and it was great coffee! I was worried because at most diner that are affordable, the coffee is usually gross and tastes like an ashtray! Not here. I got a little jar of fresh cream also for my coffee. Yum. The food was amazing! The omelette was ginormous with tons of toppings inside, or should I say insidings since they are not on top?Anyways, it was giant! The hash browns were cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside and soft inside! The toast was Texas toast, so bring on the carbs baby! The French toast does not have powdered sugar like some places but it comes with syrup on the side. It was delicious . This place is way better than iHop and Denny's! We can't wait to come here again and try some other dishes. The prices are so affordable. If you are a student or just trying to save some money, you should come here and try it out!!! Oh yea, our waitress was awesomen!"
"Great local diner. Been eating here for years. Wait staff work super hard and are very relational and kind. Great traditional breakfast"
"Quaint local diner with a 50s decor theme. The food has been tasty the few times I've visited over the past couple of years. They have large & filling portions."
"This place is a great little diner that i can honestly say I have never had a bad meal at. The service is always fast and with a smile. Each staff member has a great knowledge of the menu and is willing to talk you through your choices. The only thing that i have had here that wasn't really what i was looking for was their home fries. They were extremely under cooked. This may be how some folks like them but it just wasn't what i was looking for."
"Great double smash burger. Crispy edges and done in the middle/ juicy and perfect. Soft bun and all the fixings made this one of my faves. Also one of us had a patty melt- old time goodness. The American cheese melted just right with nicely toasted bread. We will be back again when traveling through."
"Very nice environment, with great staff and pricing. Food was tasty with many different menu options to select from. Perfect for breakfast without having to go far from home."
"Nice place excellent service, good food, perfect place for breakfast, good prices, love the coffee and the pancakes"
"I eat here when I drive up to northern Arkansas from Texas. Occasionally the service can get a little backed up, but no one is standing around being lazy or anything. The food has always come out fresh and very tasty. Staff has always been friendly. Regarding COVID, they've taken measures for social distancing like closing down the salad bar, closing off tables, and the staff were mostly wearing masks correctly. I wouldn't say the patrons exactly care, though, so if you are immunocompromised, just be aware this might not be your place. I'll keep coming back, especially for the fried catfish."
"Eat more Sunnyside. Especially the Fat Elvis! They always have great service and ambiance. I like the large patio too."
"Good food and service. Peak breakfast hours are until 9:30 am I'd advise to go for brunch. Service again is top tier"
"Even we they are busy all of the ladies are super nice to every customer and greet you with a smile. Sometimes I swear my momma must be in the back cooking. This place isn't a fancy 4 star high brow place. This is good down home family fixings. I never ordered anything yet that didn't taste good. It's always fresh and tastes like it should. I like their chicken fried steaks. When you are home sick this is a good place to go!"
"GREAT Food First Class Service. GET here and Have a Good Time, this place is a Must While O/a Muskogee or Camp Gruber/Fort Gibson"
